I'm not sure why people complaining at this place. I love them. I have to drive about an hour one way to the office, but I still do it because I really really like them. After 15 months of frustrations with this office, I will be taking my daughter elsewhere. It's true that they SPAM you with ridiculous calls and texts and emails. It's true that the front office staff is mostly rude. It's true that they rush you through appointments, are dismissive, and only care about their bottom line. Every time I communicated concerns regarding my daughter's health - namely allergies - I was completely dismissed by Dr. Strumba and Dr. Foreman and was told that what my husband and I were observing was wrong. Every time I have left this office, I have felt upset and angry. Today was the last straw when they unilaterally canceled my daughter's 15-month immunization appointment. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. Take your child where they will CARE about your child's well-being. Well-Being Pediatrics DOES NOT care about your child's well-being. I make it a point not to write negative reviews about businesses, particularly small businesses. I don't wish to purposefully hurt a business. However, given the circumstances, I feel that other parents should be forewarned. I have NEVER had these issues with a doctor's office. We are reasonable individuals, and compliant patients. Everytime in the last 5 years we were waiting at least 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Last time we were running late 8 min and they wanted to cancel the appointment! Very poor service. read more

After thirteen years of my children being patients, it is over! Be careful black and brown people!!! After Dr. Glickfield left, they do NOT CARE about us! My daughter was sick last year for two weeks and the doctor would not prescribe her antibiotics. I had to pay $25 each telemedicine appointment (three times) for that doctor to tell me "I don't think she's quite there yet." Parents, how long are you supposed to give a child Tylenol and Motrin? Im sure not THREE WEEKS!! My daughter was not eating, barely drinking anything, and could not attend school. Now, just last week she had Covid symptoms and Dr. Stromba did not even check her temperature! She looked in her ears and said "she has one of those other viruses." No Covid test, nothing! Dreadful, uncaring, rude, cold, and NOT a place where you should take your child!!! I could tell you more, but there is not enough space! NEVER AGAIN! read more

We have had a terrible experience with these physicians. Our one month old daughter was sent to the ER by Dr Foreman on a Monday due to projectile vomiting and possible pyloric stenosis. He did not coordinate with the ER properly and they wanted us to sit in a room with 50 individuals during a pandemic with a one month old. When I called the office they provided no solution. Atfer 45 minutes a police officer at the hospital was able to get me the assistance I needed to sit in a room so my daughter was not compromised. We waiting 19 hours for an ultrasound that was supposed to be emergent. They blew 3 veins in our daughters arms and were unable to start an IV due ot dehydration. This is the hospital Well-being pediatrics sent us to. I wrote the office in the portal 2 times with no response. I also called during business hours at which time they transferred me to Dr. Yajnik who stated she didn't know anything about us and we could schedule a telehealth visit for later in the week. I do not produce enough milk for our daughter and we have to supplement with formula. This is the cause of projectile vomiting and dehydration after trying 3 different types recommended by these physicians. I have received no coordination of care or follow up by our actual doctor - Dr Strumba. We are scrambling to find another pediatrician to help us be able to properly feed our daughter. This office clearly prioritizes quantity over quality. Please don't let this happen to your family. read more

I would not recommend this place to any family. They don't seem to really care for their patients. They just seem to care about the numbers. The spam with automated calls, texts, emails, weekly even after you go in. Their system to check in is all digital and lengthy. Last time I went, I told them I 'd rather check in at the office. Once I finished the process, they told me it took too long and that we had to reschedule our appointment. The people at the front desk are not very friendly. Just waited 90 minutes to see a Dr. (after the nurse checked weight & measurements). No update or explanation from the staff. Then they tell us the Doctor "didn't see our chart and left for the day." So they offered another Doctor - who didn't show up after another 20 minute wait. Ended up leaving without so much as an apology. Basically the staff is completely disorganized. read more

I absolutely love this practice! They take so much time with your children & answer your questions in the simplest way. The staff treats you like family & they just started with a new patient portal system if I think of a question in the middle of the night (what mom doesn't?) I am able to get in touch via the portal. There's so much wrong with this place it's really hard to know where to start. To begin with, I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviewer - the doctors and staff here care very little about your child and care a whole lot about getting you in and out so they can get on with the next patient. Some are worse than others but I would rate the "bedside manner" of all of the doctors here poor at best. The office staff is rude, inexperienced (they have a ton of turnover) and incompetent. One example: they sent my wife and I to Providence hospital to have a common test done. After several hours, we were told that Providence doesn't provide that test. All in all, we spent all day at two different hospitals to get tests done that 1)the staff here should have known where to send us and 2) these common tests are normally done AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE at most places (they have very little equipment and send you someplace else to have even the simplest tests and x-rays done) Totally unacceptable. When I called back to the office to voice my concerns I got a nonchalant, sarcastic attitude fro the receptionist. Mind you, a child's health is at stake here. Over the 2-3 years we have been going here (I can't believe I put up with it that long), we have had mis-diagnosis, trouble getting in during a very critical sickness (and were told to "just go to the emergency room"), a prescription that was called in wrong, different treatments and opinions from different doctors within the same office... There's too much to say and I'm getting upset just writing this. Let me summarize by saying we have left this practice and I would never bring my child here. Ever. read more

Very rude front office. My child was a new patient and was seen by a doctor which went well she didn't have the best bedside manner but she was thorough and knowledgeable.she treated my son and asked that we follow up. When I left I made a follow up appointment. It was pouring rain and cold on the day of his follow up I had all 3 of my kids with me. Got them into the office and they have this electronic check in iPad and you can pay your copay on the tablet when it came time for payment I went to grab my card and realized I left it in the car from putting gas earlier that day. I explained to the woman at the front desk what happened and because of the rain and didn't want to drag 3 kids back through the pouring rain that I would call her with my credit card over the phone when we left. She said that their policy is to take the payment at time of service and that she would keep an eye on my kids while I went down to car. I was not comfortable with her keeping an eye on them (3 kids under 6 years old) and told her I was leaving she didn't care and made no attempts to remedy the situation. She let a sick kid leave the office without being seen because of their policy. When I called to speak the supervisor after I left, it was the same woman who was at the front desk. She told me that it was the insurance company that requires them to take the payment at time of service. I wonder what the insurance companies will say about the office refusing to see a sick child because the payment wasn't made before the service. They provide Excellent care !! The doctors and medical staff are fantastic . They listen to you , take complete history , perform full exams , do appropriate diagnostics and believe in wellness visits . They have gotten us in for sick kid visits every time the same day . The doctors and medical staff have taken phone calls and returned calls same day and even after hours when necessary . Only concern is wait time in lobby . Often they are running behind and that can be frustrating . However when we get in the exam room, every part of the visit is appropriate And necessary . I assume they are just taking excellent care of other families as well and that causes the delays . I hope they can fix the excessive wait times . But I have and do recommend West Bloomfield pediatrics to all families !!!! read more

The best doctor that was there left. The waiting room is dirty and disorganized. The patient tables are dirty between the cracks as well as the filthy walls behind them. I complained in the past about the dirty patient tables and was told they were going to upgrade which I believe was a lie as they never did. read more

I just had my first baby and saw Dr. Zuma. She was beyond patient with all of our silly first time parent questions!! She never made us feel rushed and we loved that the waiting room had a "sick" side and "wellness check" side, so our infant wasn't around kids with illnesses. I have three friends that all bring their kids here as well and have had great experiences. The wait was a little long, but it's because they spend quality time with each patient, so for me it is worth it! read more

After hours of research & over a dozen calls trying to find the perfect office & pediatrician for our baby, we were incredibly blessed to find this office. Excellent office and staff. Always professional and on top of things. They give out important information for baby well visits. They listen to all of your questions and make sure to make you feel comfortable before you leave. Only complaint is the lengthy wait time to be seen. Almost always takes 1 hour+ until we are seen. Nonetheless, I love taking my daughter here. I plan on taking all of my future children here. I highly recommend Dr. Anna Strumba. She also specializes in breastfeeding if you're taking that route. read more

I really loved this office, but the changes that's been implemented is the reason why I am giving 2 stars. You have to be able to communicate with the nurse or doctor, if you have follow up questions etc. They don't talk to you anymore once you leave the office. They want everything done electronically through messaging. I have called for a follow up, and the recap. Response is you have to send them a message. All 3 of my children has been with them, my oldest is 15. I sent a message, to a question, I had regarding my daughter, and I asked to please call me. No one called instead the responded with a question, that could have been answered on the call, and we could have took care of everything in one conversation. But now, I have to go through answering one question at a time, and waiting on messages to come through. Not a way to keep report with your patients. Will be changing doctors read more

My siblings and I have been going to this pediatricians office since we were young. I assume my mother liked it because we stayed until we were to old to be seen anymore. Now I take my daughter here and I don't like it. I took my daughter in twice because I felt like her ears were bothering her. One doctor said they saw pus and inflammation and the other two took quick glances and said they saw nothing. Well the following week I had to take her to the emergency room because she had a temperature of 102 degrees! Turns out she had a flipping EAR INFECTION!! So I will no longer be taking my child to West Bloomfield Pediatrics!! read more

Do NOT go here! We moved from NV to MI, went to West Bloomfield Pediatricians for my son's 5 year checkup. We needed my son's inhaler (albuterol) filled. Went to the pharmacy the first time - the medication was not called in. Went to the pharmacy the second time, and West Bloomfield Pediatricians had called in the wrong medication (they called in a Nebulizer). Unfortunately, we did not find out until I paid for the wrong medication, and opened the package - could not return. We waited while the kind pharmacist called the afterhour's on-call pediatrician to correct the matter. Happened to be the same doctor who saw my son 2 days earlier; but, apparently, she did not remember my son, did not remember the issue, and told the pharmacist the nebulizer was the correct medication. After I intercepted and the pharmacist reminded of why it was an inhaler and not Nebulizer, the doctor finally gave orders for the correct medicine. This wasted hours of our time and wasted our money and, my son's chart still says his medication should be the Nebulizer. Next issue was getting my son's current shot history from NV. I signed a release form and was told I would get an update in a week or so. I followed up 2 weeks later and was told the NV Pediatrician did not send the info yet. A couple weeks later, my husband brought my son in to the office when he was sick and they admitted that they had not sent the release form yet. I submitted 3 messages through their online portal for an update on the shot record and they blamed the previous pediatrician the first 2 times, and, not only did they not respond to the 3rd inquiry, but, deleted it and all of the other messages which were previously in the portal. I called our past NV pediatrician and got the records within 24 hours. And, the NV pediatrician's office stated they never received a request from West Bloomfield Pediatricians. To say I am displeased with this company is an extreme understatement. How can I trust the healthcare of my child to someone who cannot even call in the correct medication, will not correct the chart when they finally do realize their error, and will blame others for their clear incompetence? I don't typically write reviews, but feel so strongly that others should not endure this negligence. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS "DOCTOR'S" OFFICE. read more
