Third time is a charm I have been to Foothills Physical…read moreTherapy for three recoveries, this time after a rotor cuff surgery. There are no better therapists than Lindsey and her assistant Jillian to put you on the road to recovery. It's hard work to get your muscles working the right way. Lindsey develops the correct program and Jillian makes sure I do the exercises correctly. To be corrected and doing the exercises correctly, is very important to me. I always joke around, that I don't want to be mediocre, but exceptional, and Lindsey and Jillian make sure I achieve my goals. After a little more than 3 months of therapy, I'm 90% recovered, now it's up to me to continue to exercises at home. I can highly recommend Foothills Physical Therapy. The entire team is welcoming, friendly, professional and they make sure your mobility is restored.

My foot doctor recommended Foothills Sports Medicine for some physical therapy, and within a matter of a couple of weeks I was already feeling a big difference. The staff there is so warm and friendly and make you feel completely comfortable. I love that they gave me all of the exercises to continue working on it at home when my treatment was finished. I would recommend this place to anyone and especially want to think Jordan for giving me my feet back!

She was fantastic. Spent time with me with assessing my issue, and then spent time going over options. Would highly recommend Desert Spine, and Naomi Alcock.

Quite possibly one of the worst bait-and-switch experiences I've ever been a part of. I confirmed…read morewith the office that my procedure would be "covered," and they even framed a "test" injection as an easy next step--while admitting they weren't sure it would help--because, again, "it's covered." Afterward, my insurance paid $23. Then the clinic billed me $800. When I went back to ask them to honor what I was told--or at least work with me on price given their guidance--they refused. I asked about a self-pay option; they said no because my insurance had already paid $23. No flexibility, no ownership, no accountability. From my perspective, this is the definition of a bait-and-switch: reassure the patient about coverage to green-light the visit, deliver a token insurance payment, then dump the real cost on the patient and refuse to make it right. I left feeling misled and out hundreds of dollars for a "test" they weren't confident would help in the first place. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this practice to anyone. If you do go, get every "coverage" assurance in writing, ask for CPT codes up front, and verify directly with your insurer--because the verbal promises I received were worthless. I won't be back.

Foothills PT at 1702 South Val Vista in Mesa is one fantastic place to get put back together. Matt…read moreMidkiff is beyond amazing, his overall knowledge is one of a kind. Matt not only teaches others with calmness and complete focus, he treats his patients the same, totally focused on providing the best care for each individual and is extremely calm which radiates confidence to the patient. After getting two treatments from another PT place, I was referred by a friend to Matt at Foothills and I'm extremely grateful Matt squeezed me in to help me with my shoulder injury, doctors wanted to do surgery but Matt suggested PT along with dry needles/deep tissue massage and it's worked out AMAZING. Talk about night and day difference between PT places, I'd definitely return if I had another injury. The care here from Matt and others is top notch. The facility is clean and orderly, up to date machines and every kind of item needed for exercises for any injury. This office also runs ON TIME, there is never any waiting or wasted time during treatments, very important to me. Totally recommend Foothills PT on Val Vista and definitely see Matt Midkiff.
