The waitress was extremely friendly, we told her we were enjoying ourselves and Stuttgart so much that she even tried to convince us to move there. The whole experience dining outside was perfect; the restaurant is located in a popular but tucked away square with several other restaurants. The food was great, for a fair price, and the waitress brought us out some complimentary biscuits and jam afterwards, which was really nice. Well worth the visit if you're ever exploring downtown Stuttgart. Get an outside table!

The menu is appealing, there are lots of wines by the glass and the atmosphere is good. Italian music but modern. Loud but not too much. Very good bread and oil. For the main part of the meal we were delighted. Great *I mean GREAT* Vitello Tonatto, very nice carpaccio (the salad could have been better spiced), fantastic spaghetti "in the wheel of parmiggiano" with truffles (but summer truffles, tasteless, so sadly topped with some "truffle" oil, a mediocre product). But let's be fair, the spaghetti was to die for !! Ravioli Porcini in a cream sauce, very good too. The meat, a piece of beef sliced at the table, was just hot when I started but due to the cold plate it was served on, became to cold very early in my jaw-destroying process. Nice steamed cooked vegetables. The desserts were average but this and the truffle oil is really what makes the difference between the 5* I intended and the 4* I finally opted for. Weird also that they didn't offer anything to a table of 2 who had two aperitifs, two glasses of white and a bottle of red, water, 2 starters, 2 pasta, 2 main courses and 2 desserts. C'mon... But a very nice place indeed.

Das Haus wurde von Grund auf neu saniert und trotz allem erinnern viele kleine Details an die Vergangenheit. Jedoch merkt man auch, dass frischer Wind durch die neu eröffnete TA OS weinbar by Lausterer strömt. Das Personal ist das alte, die Tradtionsgerichte bleiben und auch der Wein und das Bier der Familienbrauerei Dinkelacker werden in der Zukunft wieder auf dem langen alten Baumstamm oder den kleinen Tischen und Nischen nicht fehlen. Even the English menu in a German restaurant is a challenge for us (what are chittlings again?). Our server took the time to advise us on local wines, recommend an off menu meal that was superb, suggest an excellent Turkish wine that we loved, and even bought us a shot of schnapps so we could end the meal like a good German. This was a highlight of our trip. If you want to try some Swabian food, this is your place. And to all you servers and hosts out there who take pity on customers who are out of our element and just trying to have fun; thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It was well prepared and so tender. Also the French fries (kids meal) wear so good and the fried potatoes (adult) were amazing as well! Loved it. What will we order for dessert?
