I don't trust these guys. Do not give them any money in advance as they do not show up. We had them cut our grass last year without incident. It wasn't the best work but it was adequate. This year they showed up without any contact, cut the grass one time, so we paid them ahead for 5 cuts. They never came back. Then came 3 weeks of unreturned phone calls and emails. We finally went to the police, who called them. Weingartz said that they were out of town for 3 days? So what? They promised the police that they would cut the grass today. It's 5 PM and they still aren't here. We will give them til Monday to make good, if not, because they cashed the check and kept the money it's now check fraud. Check fraud is 2 years in jail if convicted. I urge everyone in any circumstance where you are out money that you paid or are owed, to go to the police first. They have you fill out a request for money form and send it by certified mail. If they don't respond or refuse it, the letter is then proof and is sent to the County Prosecutor's Office. That's what we will do on Monday, and then they can explain it to a judge. Why are there so many business owners here in Michigan who think they are above the law? We really need a consumer advocate here. read more
