This office is now under the UC medical umbrella. After dropping my dad off I parked the car. Just a minute later upon entering he had finished checking in at the counter. In about 6 minutes he was called to the back. In less than 30 minutes he was done and back at the receptionist desk. The staff was very friendly and professional. While waiting for my dad they asked me if I was there for an appointment myself to confirm that no patients were overlooked. My dad was quite pleased by the visit. Only minor preventative action by the doctor was needed. Overall I was very impressed by the staff and the service my dad received here. I found Doctor Hoppenjans to always be professional and friendly and left feeling that he cared about his patients. I always felt like I had left a person who had an uplifting spirit. He answered any questions that I had and took care of any issues that I had. Do not believe that 'one negative' review. Maybe the doctor had a bad day or perhaps the patient was just a bad patient too. You never know. I wish Dr. Hoppenjans well as he explores retirement (which is what I heard circa 2019).

After my former dermatologist retired, I was referred to Dr. Snyder. I waited a very long time to…read morebe seen, almost 5 months to be exact. I am disappointed with two things: 1) the amount of time that was spent with me, especially because I was a new patient. The forms took longer to fill out than the time that I actually spent with Dr. Snyder. I realize that it was just an annual check up, but it seems like there should have been more time spent on my overall skin health which leads me to my next issue. On my medical history, I indicated that I am taking a medication for acne. This was not brought up at all during my brief visit with Dr. Snyder. When I went to check out, I asked the receptionist to ask about taking over the refills. I was told that I would have to make another appointment (over my lunch hour) which is extremely frustrating. I have emailed the office twice and left messages for the office manager. No one but the person in charge of billing have gotten back to me, and I am stuck with paying a bill not once, but now twice as I will be finding a new dermatologist.

They have always been rude since I started coming here and if my dermatologist wasn't so amazing I would have found a different one a long time ago.

I liked that I was able to book my appointment directly through the MyChart app. I also love that all my blood work/tests show directly through the app as well. The receptionist at the desk was very friendly and checked me in quickly. It was great that I was able to fill out all the paperwork online before arriving so I didn't have to do that while I waited. Sarah, my doctor's assistant is truly a rockstar human and was so much fun to talk to. I'm quite the anxious person, so it's always great to talk to someone who can put you to ease in a stressful environment. I'm feeling super grateful to have insurance and a primary care provider. If you haven't been to a doctor in awhile, go be proactive and look out for your health!
