On Saturday, November 13th I went here to get a loan letter for a car I was hoping to purchase…read morelater that day. There were 3 women working. Kita, Angelina and Vesna. Kita was working in the office and the other 2 were working at the teller windows. I sat there hoping to get seen. Did I make an appointment? No. Did I stand in line for the teller to see how I would get helped? No. I sat right outside of Kita's office. There was a VERY large line waiting for a teller apparently there was a problem with the debit cards they sent out. So everyone who has an account there (or so it seemed) had to come in and get a new card. I felt bad for the patrons and also for the tellers. I sat there for a while. (My fault - I didn't have an appointment.) I was hoping that when it died down someone could assist me. While I sat there I could hear Kita laughing, watch Angelina patiently listen to an older gentleman explain AGAIN (even though she heard him the first time) and Vesna very politely explain to a woman that masks were required to be helped even though the woman kept stating "this is stupid", "they don't help you know, they only end up hurting you". These 3 women ran around crazy trying to take care of everyone politely and as quickly as they could. Angelina did eventually get me a loan letter. A loan with a very nice rate. It ended up taking about 20 minutes. I was really stressed that morning. I had company coming to my house and I didn't want to buy a new car I HAD to buy a new car which means I had to acquire a loan. Ugh. Before I left Kita hugged me and told me everything was going to be fine. (Yeah, I was a mess.) It seemed like their positive attitude calmed me down a bit. Later that day my company came and went and I ended up buying a new (to me) vehicle. Today is Monday, November 15th. I had to go back to the Credit Union. I bought a car but the company kind of put me through the ringer. The number on the title was wonky, they MADE me take out a loan with them even though I was already approved with Together and they told me I had 3 days to get them a check paying it off or I would have finance charges. This time I was smart. I scheduled an appointment. The earliest I could get in was 11:30. I was there until 3:15. Kita is amazing. She was patient - she had to clean up the mess the car place put me in and even when I had forgotten to tell her that the car place had also given me the wrong term - so she had to fix that, which subsequently locked up her computer and forced her to have to call several people for assistance she was still kind. We joked about how we were now good friends. Angelina the branch manager (?) came in twice to check on us. Kita was needed elsewhere and at one point she had to help with a broken change machine. BUT, lucky for me Kita believes in customer service and took care of me before she let me leave. Honestly, she is a friend - I can think of a couple that would have brushed me off after an hour. Angelina came in at the end and apologized which was really sweet of her and probably part of her job but seemed to really mean it and honestly, I felt bad because if I hadn't told Kita after the fact about the term being incorrect her computer wouldn't have shut down and I would have freed Kita up to help others (& to have lunch cuz she worked through hers). I see that others may have had trouble with Together but maybe it's because you didn't get one of these 3 women to help you. I think they deserve a 2nd chance. Even today people were crabby and angry about the cards and I get it. It would be frustrating. I mentioned to Kita that they really needed some sort of sign in and she said that they had one but everyone coming in mainly had card issues so they removed it temporarily. That being said...that is why they get a 4 out of 5 star rating. I still think that if a sign up was there and a sign that says "card issues - see a teller all others sign in" it would work. But I don't work there and they know it better than I do. Bottom line - I am thinking about moving all my banking there instead of just a savings account.

Throughout the years, my lending experiences have often seemed to favor the bank rather than the customer. From requiring insurance as a condition of borrowing to imposing high interest rates and penalties for paying off loans early, I have consistently felt that the terms were not in the customer's best interest. More recently, I maintained a business account with the credit union for seven years without any issues. Then, unexpectedly, I was asked to provide original business formation documents and was informed that my account could be deactivated if I failed to comply. This came as a surprise after seven years of uninterrupted banking with no prior issues.
