If they can't answer their phones, why give them your business, is my motto. EDIT: Today, they answered the phone!! I asked what the fee was this year. I was told $165. I started laughing and apologized to the woman, but will explain it when I get there in a few days. EDIT: The lady dropped my price of $165 to $130 after our conversation about how her company is overcharging customers. She also made a mistake on my State return. I asked her to double check it and she omitted a 0 on a form. What I didn't tell her is, the same thing happened last year. Be aware of what your refund was last year if you can. If nothing has changed, don't hesitate asking if an amount sounds wrong.

I noticed my w2s came earlier than usual so I called to schedule an appt. I couldn't get through to anyone so I called the Rock Hill location and spoke with Matt. He apologized for my troubles and was more than willing to take me in the same day. At that point I had to make a decision: do I keep trying my old place or try a new location? Since I already had my W2s and he had time for me, I went ahead and made the switch. Upon walking in to the Rock Hill location, i noticed how pristine it was and was instantly impressed. I've yet to notice an unkempt tax place but this one was immaculate! Not to mention, all the stops were put in place for Covid protocol, so I felt even more safe and comfortable being there. Matt was very warm, engaging, and personable. I should mention prior to me coming in, I had some concerns regarding my second stimulus, which I mentioned to him on the phone. As we were going through my w2, he took the time to throughly explain each section as well as give me the proper info regarding my stimulus. Any questions I did have were answered and he made it his job to make sure I had everything I needed. Matt made me feel as if we were old friends whilst still remaining professional. After she said that we got our taxes and took them somewhere else, the new tax place had told us they did them wrong and they even left out W2 forms for 2023!!!!! The new tax place said they overcharged us!!! We have been calling to try and talk with anyone else but, Leann answered the phone and said "YOU ARE FIRED!!!"
