The reason we won the offer after not winning 4 prior homes was because of Stuart being able to finance within 2 weeks! While the 2 week close was stressful, Stuart's team made it easy and helped us get set up with a great title company. They all walked us through the process and helped us understand as first time homeowners. I have to specifically shout out Carolyn for holding our hand through the process and guiding us to make sure we got the correct documents in. We just today receive a beautiful gift from Stuart thanking us for going with AMC and congratulating us on the home. We are looking forward to going to the Cardinal's game and getting our free hotdog as well. Thanks to Stuart, Carolyn and the AMC team!

I only had about 3/4 of his windshield in view because again, he was driving so close to me. To this young man, i apologize if following the law and driving at the 30mph speed limit was making you late to work or something, but it's no excuse for the dangerous way you were driving or the way you yelled and screamed until you were red in the face because i wouldn't speed up. I couldn't get a great look at your face because you were driving with your elbows while flipping me off with both hands. But Overland is a small community. Lackland is a popular road. And I've seen your car parked outside this establishment every time I've driven by, so i can only assume you acted in such a way to get there quickly. Hopefully you learn to control your anger and your road rage because you not only put yourself in danger, but you endangered me and my toddler by driving the way that you did. Not to mention the other people on the road when you proceeded to run the red to turn onto Lackland. Grow up.

I've been doing business with Scott's office for at least 10 years. Scott and his employees are in…read morethe community and not operating from some distant call center which is VERY important to me. They live here, shop here, pay taxes here, etc. They have always been very professional and extremely helpful with all my insurance issues from purchasing condos, new cars, changing cars, articles polices (adding articles, deleting articles) etc. Any time I need a proof of insurance or anything else from them, I have it immediately. I have had a lot of contact with Scott's office over the years and never had any issue. I'm very satisfied and can't recommend them enough. Please do all your business locally when possible whether it is purchasing your insurance at a local office or banking at a local bank or better still, a local credit union. This is our community and it's very important we support our neighbors. A rising tide lifts all boats, yada, yada, yada, :D

Thought I was done with these guys? Nope…read more Early August, I receive a letter from Commerce Bank, my lender for my auto loan. It says they have no record of me having insurance for the month that I had the most trouble with State Farm. So I go to their website, fill out a form and am told Commerce will contact State Farm for verification. Sounds good. I've actually done this before. Flash foward to August 25th. I get a second letter from Commerce saying that they weren't provided accurate insurance information. So they want me to pay the insurance cost they feel they deserve for that period of time. It's $125. So I call. No surprise: Commerce called Scott Holdridge's office on August 12th. Scott Holdridge's office was not comfortable sharing that information over the phone. Who knows why. So they say they'll fax over the information. THEY NEVER FAXED THE INFORMATION OVER. So now I'm stuck calling in again tomorrow, hoping Commerce can actually reach someone at State Farm and then clear this up. In the meantime, I'm being threatened with action for something I took care of 100%. Maybe someone could have read my previous reviews and said "Hey, who knows, maybe Tony was a jerk and that's part of the problem". Now I have nice people at Commerce having the same exact problem with this office. Amazing. I predicted they'd find some way to screw with me again and here we are. Am I ever going to be done with these people? The ineptitude is staggering.

I have been banking at this branch for over 25 years. I have had several personal and business…read morechecking and savings accounts. As well as several car loans and commercial real estate loans. The people that I've worked with have known me by name when I walk in the door. However, since the merger has taken place, I haven't seen as much incompetency in a business anywhere else in my life. I tried to make a simple transaction of a loan payment after mistakingly paying a few bills after writing a check that I had forgotten about. My reserve line had covered this, and I merely went in to make the loan payment from my savings account. From that point, it took me almost a week to get this transaction resolved. I had gotten errors through the online app, so called the branch to have the payment made for me, and was met with so much confusion and incompetency for such a simple transaction.. by the end of the call, I was very frustrated, but assured that the loan payment was made and I would incur zero interest. However, upon checking a couple days later, I witnessed that the payment had not been made, and in fact a transfer had been put into my checking account. When I called back, I was again met with much confusion and the banker even attempted to try to close my overdraft protection account all together and leave me unprotected. Why on earth? Would anybody suggest this? I may need to take my banking somewhere else as I am now fearful for the safety of my accounts at this bank.

My financial experiences with Albritton Financial Services and Cambridge Investment Research, Inc…read morehas been considerably less than stellar. Monthly management fees exceeded 1.5% of our total portfolio (as determined by our CPA), but those are not the only fees charged. Fees for paper statements, maintenance fees, and termination fees of $100/account, in my mind, are excessive. In addition, this firm (AFS) does not honor the requests of the clients. (In my case, I was going to be charged $75 to make an OTC purchase of a penny stock which Mr Albritton decided was not in my best interest. The next day the stock doubled in price.) In addition,Mr. Albritton is not FNRA certified (which I found out after transferring our accounts.) As a result, my husband and I have terminated our accounts and our dealings with AFS and Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Expectations of a smooth transfer of our assets was not to be, however. After a month of attempting to transfer our assets, we are still waiting for all of our funds to transfer. This firm was recommended by our trust lawyer as being "easy to deal with." Not the case in our situation. I would not recommend Albritton Financial Services or Cambridge Research, Inc to my worst enemy. If you choose to do so, "caveat emptor", BUYER BEWARE!
