I thought since i was the not-at-fault driver that I wouldn't need an attorney because it was pretty straight forward. Quickly I learned quite the opposite. Within about a week of reporting the accident I was sent tons of mail from Geico asking me to fill out a ton of information (keep in mind I'm trying to recover from a severe accident with horrible whiplash and other painful injuries including ptsd). We chose to accept the unfair settlement from Geico and move on with life.
