I was in the difficult position of having to find a new attorney after my previous lawyer…read moreunexpectedly passed away, and I had less than six weeks before trial. During that time I contacted more than 75 attorneys and law firms hoping to find someone who could help. One attorney truly stood out -- Jon Friedman. Even though my case was outside the area of law he practices, he spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with me listening to my situation and offering thoughtful guidance. He didn't rush the conversation and took the time to make sure I felt heard during an incredibly stressful time. That kind of professionalism, compassion, and integrity is rare. It was clear to me that he genuinely cares about people who are seeking legal help and wants his clients to feel understood and supported. Even though he wasn't able to represent me, that conversation left a lasting impression. If I ever need legal assistance in the future, Jon Friedman will absolutely be the first attorney I call. I have no doubt that anyone who becomes his client will have someone who truly fights for them.

We contracted to install a solar panel system in August of 2022. The energy benefits of the solar system worked incredibly well, but the installation of the brackets was substandard and we experienced leaks from November 4, 2022 until KB Law secured an agreement with the solar company to replace the roof under the solar system and reinstall the panels April 2023. The solar company would not discuss any redress besides temporary rubber cement patching that continued to fail until Kenji agreed to represent our interests. He received our documentation, listened to our priorities, connected us to an expert consultant who documented every stage of repair who was eminently qualified to testify on our behalf, advised us with truth and integrity to expect several different scenarios, and then followed through with updates through several months of challenging communications with the company to secure an acceptable and fair arrangement without having to go to court. If Kenji takes your case, you can expect the best possible outcome with expert and realistic experienced advice to guide you every step of the way. We recommend KB Law LLC without reservation. They were a lifeline through what could have been a far more expensive and drawn out process fighting a huge company for a fair outcome.

After over 35,000 miles, my journey was abruptly interrupted, as a distracted truck driver failed to yield and cut the road a few meters ahead of me. Just like that, in a second, everything was over. I was then flown to hospital, had four surgeries, stayed for a month and spent months in a wheelchair after being flown back home, in Belgium. That's when Mike Colbach and his team got in. I couldn't have been more lucky. For over 6 months, he worked on my case 7 days a week. He did everything in his power to make things right and as fair as they could get (including flying over to freezing and rainy Belgium in winter for depositions). I will never thank him enough. Not only for his and his amazing crew's unparalleled professionalism, but also and perhaps even more for his help and moral support, on a more human level, when I most needed it. No wonder why he constantly gets great reviews and is the best personal injury lawyer in Oregon!

His patience and expertise have been so very appreciated. Mr. Ball has always kept us up-to-date with the letters and responses received or needed. He organized and filed hundreds (if not a few thousand by now) of pages of documents, and set important calendar dates and reminders well in advance. All of his communications and follow-ups were precise, on time, efficient and always reinforced our confidence that the case has been handled by a reliable, dependable and trustworthy attorney. He has been there to answer all of our questions and to explain the legal process with patience and kindness. He is very knowledgeable. He has worked hard for us - and seeing him in action during court appearances has confirmed that we selected just the right person to represent my family member. Not all cases end the way we would hope. Legal battles can cause pain and heartache exposing personal and private matters that are better left behind closed doors. Life gets messy. It's easy to place the blame on someone else because life is unfair and the judge may not rule in your favor. Will Ball has helped us through with not just legal documents but with the hard personal stuff too. The other party in the case has been unresponsive and even combative at times, which has extended the case and cost more money. I am grateful for Mr. Ball for looking at things from new angles, and working with several opposing attorneys, court clerks and the judge to help move this case through the court, all the while being incredibly sensitive to the stress and toll that this case has taken on our family. He has made a difficult and lengthy process much easier to get through. I highly recommend William Ball at Beaty Hatch as an excellent, reliable, dependable and kind person and attorney.

I am currently involved in an active civil lawsuit against this attorney for legal malpractice,…read morefraudulent inducement, professional negligence and breach of fiduciary duty. I retained her specifically to pursue a change of venue and related motions. From the beginning, she assured me that a change of venue was possible and charged me a substantial amount for what she described as research and preparation related to that issue. Despite those assurances and the fees I paid, the work was not carried out as represented. There were repeated delays, changes in direction and a lack of follow-through on key actions I hired her to perform. Without my knowledge or consent, she consulted with other attorneys I had prior relationships with and billed me thousands of dollars for those communications. I was also billed for work that did not advance my case in a meaningful way. Communication was inconsistent, and at times unprofessional. I experienced conduct that did not reflect the level of professionalism or focus I expected from legal counsel handling a serious matter. Overall, I paid a massive amount of money based on specific representations about what would be done, and those expectations were not met. Given my experience, I would strongly caution others to carefully evaluate representation, ask detailed questions about billing and strategy, and ensure clear expectations are documented before proceeding.

We also researched several other lawyers, looking specifically for those who specialize in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Wills. As it turned out, Mr. Kunz is a peer reviewed lawyer and Salmon Creek Law specializes in exactly what we needed. I called Salmon Creek Law Offices to find out about their process for setting up a Trust. They were very helpful and straightforward. The whole process to begin working with them was explained clearly. We felt comfortable getting started, especially since we weren't locked into anything until after we had the initial consultation and decided if they were the right fit for us. The initial consultation was free, and in it, Mr. Kunz asked us clear, pertinent questions and explained the differences between trusts and wills, as well as the pros and cons of each. He also discussed different Powers of Attorney, which could be included in the Trust set up as needed. Once we decided to use their services, we were walked through all the steps by Marissa Bartolucci, another excellent attorney in their office, and could ask as many questions and make as many changes to our draft documents as we needed. The assistance and advice we were given to make the process as smooth as possible was great. The entire process was handled very professionally and in a timely manner. All the staff at Salmon Creek Law were very approachable, helpful, and the communication was excellent! We would definitely recommend them highly!
