Law Offices of Adam M. Weiner

I filed a bankruptcy in 2017 with Adam Weiner. The level of experience, kindness, and…read moreresponsiveness of his office is unmatched. There are several options in the Portland metro, but the difference with Adam's law firms and others is that he is not here to sell you on something, but to help you navigate a difficult time and to give you knowledge about better options for the future. His rates were reasonable, and although I borrowed money to pay the whole fee at the time, he does take payments, as I recall. His office was very quick at responding to any questions or concerns. The reason for this late review is that, unfortunately, my family made a series of mistakes that landed us back in bankruptcy. Even worse, I let my embarrassment over our situation prevent us from choosing this office again and going with a much less capable firm. Don't make my mistake. Adam Weiner's office is the one you want, hands down. Having been through two bankruptcies, I have to say that this is the one I recommend to friends and family. They are very organized in setting you up for filing, treat you with respect, and help you navigate what can be a pretty overwhelming process. A bad law firm makes bankruptcy feel more stressful. With Adam Weiner every week it gets easier and easier and you'll end up feeling like you have a fresh start and were treated well by him.

When life…read morethrows you blows, that you don't even know how to begin to handle, Laura is right there to help you every step of the way. She's extremely knowledgeable on the subject and had all the answers I needed. Laura Zaro and her assistant Jamie are very kind, personable and professional. They are both very responsive and, in a time, where I felt clueless, having them on my side, made all the difference. They literally took care of everything and made a scary situation, seem so calm and easy to deal with. Because of Zaro Law, my bankruptcy is now complete, and I am able to start re-building my credit with a fresh start. I learned so much from Laura and I truly appreciate how she cared so much and was willing to go above and beyond. Her prices are more than fair, and she offers a very helpful payment plan. Laura is very thorough and knows what she is doing. She's literally a God send, and I am so very thankful that I came across her and decided to stick with her. I was able to keep my house and car, which other attorneys said I wouldn't have been able to. I sure hope to never need Laura's services again, but I would hire her back in a heartbeat if I ever did, and surely, I'd recommend her to anyone needing bankruptcy assistance. She's definitely one of a kind and very much appreciated. Thank You, Zaro Law!!! - DeAndre

She and her small staff are amazing. They took a messy, somewhat unbelievable circumstance and smoothed matters out - dealt with the courts, with the state in true professional style! Her terms were more than fair, and she thoroughly understands the situation so many of us are in - that we don't have thousands of dollars to hire a firm to begin with! You cannot do better than Laura Zaro!

Disappointed. I went to Chris for assistance with a serious financial issue concerning debt and…read morethe IRS. Had my initial consultation and he said he could help. Retained Chris. The bankruptcy process was long and arduous. Not a great deal of communication between us during to process. We started it in March and in July our paperwork was filed with the court. Okay so far, nothing really bad going on. Except, it was revealed to me that he himself was in bankruptcy for very much the same reason we were. That was until we had our initial hearing with the bankruptcy court. My debt was over the debt ceiling for the State of Oregon. Isn't this something that a bankruptcy attorney should know? Of course it is. After the hearing, our calls were not taken and only an email showed up. Need to research the problem. That is it. Meeting with him a week later, it was explained that he knew the debt ceiling and was hoping that the bankruptcy trustee would overlook the amount of debt I had since he slid another client through who exceeded the debt ceiling. My case was nothing but a gamble for him. He was rolling the dice with my financial future, my house and my life. I was then told after liens we placed on my house to come back and we could move forward. Fast forward. Contacted Chris. Provided a lien report for my home and. my current pay information. Weeks went by. Nothing. Followed up. Was told that he had not been able to get to it. Followed up again and this time, was kicked to the curb. Was told that he wouldn't be able to get to me for several weeks and that he was swamped with other work. I had hoped that after the massive fuck up with the filing of my case and the debit ceiling we ran into that our case might have gotten a little more attention. I now have a bankruptcy on my credit, having to. try to recover from the devastating credit advice, and still have issues with the IRS and liens on my house and no relief to show for it. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

Chris was incredibly helpful explaining things to me, he stuck by me for months while I was asking questions, before I even filed. I would recommend anyone who is considering a Bk to see him, he will not pressure you and is very good at what he does. The level of attention he provides is also phenomenal. Some of these lawyers you can never get a hold of, he responds to me same day almost every single time. Thank you Chris for helping me get my life back. omid
