What fees are charged for using Zaro law? Do they help with debt other than bankrupcy? or do they look at which would be more beneficial? Bankrupcy or debt relief?

There are several options in the Portland metro, but the difference with Adam's law firms and others is that he is not here to sell you on something, but to help you navigate a difficult time and to give you knowledge about better options for the future. His rates were reasonable, and although I borrowed money to pay the whole fee at the time, he does take payments, as I recall. His office was very quick at responding to any questions or concerns. The reason for this late review is that, unfortunately, my family made a series of mistakes that landed us back in bankruptcy. Even worse, I let my embarrassment over our situation prevent us from choosing this office again and going with a much less capable firm. Don't make my mistake. Adam Weiner's office is the one you want, hands down. Having been through two bankruptcies, I have to say that this is the one I recommend to friends and family. They are very organized in setting you up for filing, treat you with respect, and help you navigate what can be a pretty overwhelming process. A bad law firm makes bankruptcy feel more stressful. With Adam Weiner every week it gets easier and easier and you'll end up feeling like you have a fresh start and were treated well by him.

I only went with her because I was too broke to afford any other attorney for this and for that part I take blame. Process took over a year and a half to get my bankruptcy done. Was never reachable. Numerous personal issues added to this. Lost numerous documents and argued about them. Told me to not worry about paying my Mortgage or Truck Payment which led me to mor financial hardship after the fact. Had to report her twice to Oregon Bar for being unprofessional. She couldn't even be bothered to show up to my court hearing. Went on vacation instead and sent a "friend" from supposedly another firm, who I'd never met and didn't know anything about my case, to the hearing. Total incompetence. Had it not been for me speaking up over her friend in court, I'd most likely had lost my house. Her follow thru- she did not even reaffirm my home loan after (as was supposed to in initial paperwork at beginning of case) and when asked about it, wanted even more money to do so. She also had to be forced by mortgage representative (while on the phone with Mortgage Company) to take herself off my case, so I could finish up my remodification payment window. All in all this was complete hell from start to finish. If I could give this experience less than 1 star, believe me I definitely would!!

I felt like I never knew what was coming next, and my paralegal generally seemed annoyed and dead pan. They did not explain the car loan reaffirmation process to me at all. AND THEN, they *misplaced* my reaffirmation paperwork and TEXTED ME to send it ASAP because the deadline was almost closed. I had, in fact, sent them exactly what they needed weeks prior. The lawyer I was assigned, Ted, didn't even show up to the meeting of trustees. It was Michael, which really adds to the sense of uncertainty and lack of support I felt the entire time. I called last Friday afternoon to find out if my debt had been cleared because, as the pattern I have already explained continued, they *didn't tell me* how I would be notified when the debt was gone. It is now Wednesday and they haven't called back, despite their voicemail saying "all calls will be returned in 24 business hours." I logged in to Experian and saw that my debt is in fact cleared but the report says my auto loan IS CLOSED. I don't know if the reaffirmation is still in process, or if this is true, which, again, I should know the process. They also overcharged me by a month because they just... didn't stop my automatic monthly payments at the right date. I have felt extreme amounts of anxiety this entire time. I don't even feel any sense of relief about my debt being gone because I don't know what is happening with my car, and because I've just felt so unseen and so disrespected and disregarded throughout the process. I highly recommend using a different lawyer.
