After having Simms look it over, they said my tie rods were fine and it was a stabilizer bearing that needed replacement. I have since brought my vehicle back for spark plugs, brakes and rotors. They were timely, trustworthy, and affordable. If I was living here long term, Simms would definitely become my regular mechanic. There is no real "waiting room" area, so if you need to leave your car for a period of time, I suggest bringing a book, if it's a nice day, a drink on the deck at the Asylum in the sun is a nice way to pass the time.
