Her approach to therapy is just what an INFJ like me has been looking for for years. She's been helping me do the hard inner work that I've needed to do, and wanted to do, but not had someone really equipped to be able to help me until I found Body Talks Therapy. She has helped me to uncover important inner truths that I have needed to stand on, and false narratives that I need to acknowledge and reject. Meeting with her has been a deeply healing and transformative experience in the couple months that she has been doing therapy with me. As a highly sensitive person, I feel like she really gets where I'm coming from, and sees a higher realm of perspective that I've learned a lot about myself from. Also, she does appointments either in office, or via video chat, which works great for me because I'm over an hour from her office. I went to her office once, which was a lovely setting, but have done subsequent appointments via video chat ever since simply due to convenience (if it wasn't for that, I'd have to do sessions with her much less frequently). She doesn't take insurance, but I've been able to get reimbursed for my sessions from our HSA, so that's helpful. Highly recommend!

Then they scheduled the appointment but didn't bother to verify benefits (something every medical practice anywhere does). Saw me (still didn't do the bare minimum of verifying insurance through a free system). Then billed the insurance and found out the mental health part is outsourced to a 3rd party they don't take. Then they bill my credit card for $130 for issues that were entirely of their own making. Don't give them any credit card info. Their billing practices are sloppy and when they stick you with the bill you don't have any recourse.

However, to see the psychiatrist I felt was correct for my needs that was an additional 3 weeks. I was more than happy to wait even though I really could have used support sooner as I stated in my intake. I took PTO to prepare for my appointment. And the night before my appointment, I received a voicemail right after the CSG's work hours ended saying that my appointment was canceled due to weather. There was no additional information on what my next steps were. There was only rain in the forecast. I waited to hear back but didn't and called back to get the regional number to then be transferred back to my branch voicemail again. I left a voicemail and didn't hear back within the day. I called the regional number back 2 days after to find that they can't do anything to expedite this process and that it was my responsibility to reach back out. I had no information prior, so if I didn't call back no one would have reached out to me. Given the nature of this business, it rubs me the wrong way and seems like there isn't any actual care.
