Dr Guo was funny, friendly and both of my boys really felt at ease (as myself) once meeting with him.

PROCEDURE; I came in for a molar extraction followed by bone grafting to prepare me for an implant…read morein the future. The staff was very friendly and informative. Everyone I encountered who helped with my surgery seemed highly knowledgeable in their positions. The office it's self was very clean with updated furnishings and equipment. The procedure itself seemed to go by rather quick although there was some type of complication as I was told by my mother, who was my driver that day. Apparently they informed her over the phone when they called to inform her I would be ready within the next half an hour. Yes, my mother dropped me off and they allowed her to go run errands instead of making her sit there and wait for me. Which made things easier for my mother and myself. AFTERCARE; The hours following the surgery were more comfortable than I was expecting. Even the following morning there wasn't much pain or discomfort. There was a moment about 4 days in that concerned me a bit. I noticed some of the packaging they placed in the extraction hole was gone and that the stitches looked as though they were loosening up some... I was terrified I was on my way to dry socket but everything turned out to be normal. So I continued to follow my aftercare directions and here I am just now leaving my 1 month check up where I was told that the healing looks amazing. In three months time I will be ready to have the screw implanted. This will be one of two that I need done. REASON FOR FOUR STARS; I seemed to have had a bad/strange reaction to the anesthesia. I've been under multiple time in my 37 years. Mostly due to unfortunate G.I. conditions but at least two times where for dental procedures. Never once have I woken up/came to in a state of panic that lead to hysterical crying. I remember feeling very confused and scared. This lead me to start crying for my mom. The nurse who was with me talked to me until I was calmed down and she assured me it was a side effect from the drugs and that I would see my mom shortly. They couldn't allow my mom to come to the back room where I was recovering but they brought me to her as soon as they were able to. I didn't think much about the weird reaction until later that evening when I went to pull my hair into a ponytail and brushed my palm along my right temple and I felt a horrible pain. There was no bruising visible but it felt like I had been hit with something in the side of my head where my temple is. I am guessing it is some type of side effect from the molar that was extracted since it was on the same side... maybe it even has to do with the "complication" they told my mom about. I really don't have a clue. All I know is that it wasn't like that before the surgery. My other issue with the anesthesia is that they didn't inform me of when they were starting to administer it. They got the IV going and fluids but never told me they were starting to administer the anesthesia and to count back from 10 or anything like that. They made small talk and asked me to bite down on a rubber device to keep my mouth from closing once the medication took effect. Once I did this the doctor went straight in and starting giving me shots of the numbing agent and it really hurt so I spit the mouth guard out and started to panic a bit and asked the dentist why he couldn't wait to do that until I was knocked out. I don't believe he really ever answered me. They got me to put the guard back in and before I knew it, I was waking up scared and confused, as I stated above. Maybe that was the complication they were referring to when they called my mother. I probably should have asked and will make sure to do so during my next check up. I didn't intend for my review to be so lengthy, but I felt in order for a fair and honest review, I should share all the facts of my experience along with my reason for my rating. OVERALL; Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing an extraction/bone grafting/implant. I will also be coming back to them for my second bone grafting procedure. The tooth has already been extracted a year or two ago, so I'll only be having half the work done. I just hope this next time the anesthesia isn't quiet as intense to wake up from.

I went to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and they did an amazing job on removing them. I did like consultation with doctor I was feeling I can trust him 100% I didnt like front desk they don't make you feel welcoming and need to be more trained. Part 1 when my surgery was done by Kelly Podlosky I would give million stars if I can . She did fanstastic job and my healing after surgery was excellent. Highly recommend Dr.Podlosky. After wearing my temporary teeth and move forward to final teeth everything was wrong. Doctor didnt listen how I want my teeth look like every single visit I was feeling he step up for sec doing his own thing . I been idiot for many months keep trusting him even I seen what going on and all quick pop up with few words during my appointments I always leave office very confuse and uncomfortable until my next visit which is normally or month out or 2 weeks. End of the story my final teeth was placed in January of 2025 leaving me with big gaps between gums and teeth , I had sore on low jaw and metal part behind my teeth was obviously not closed properly . I contacted next day tell all my concerns they did seen me fast. Doctor said well it how will be and u can put temporary wax ( the one for people who putting daily on and off teeth ) on that spot for comfort ( what? I said it will like that for all my life ? ) Doctor said yes. Common: Seriously ? We talking about final teeth what posted to be feel like real teeth and mine wasnt. All that huge mistake in my final was related what doctor didnt care and even skip very important part made changes and didnt let try another temporary set with that changes he moved fast to finals. That telling I wasnt matter as patient for him. And also upper arch was different more yellow color then low and his assistant told you can use whitenning toothpaste. Stupid thing ever if always been told "zirconia" dont change the color and all whitenning treatments dont work on it and dont need it. Ironically I still was believing until that evening I feel worse uncomfortable and next day i contacted immeditely transfer my file to another location. I glad I did and Dr.Deal is amazing from day one I met him he made me feel comfortable and doing excellent work and so his assistant , and front desk stuff make you feel comfortable and welcoming in Bellevue location . I do recommend Federal location for surgery part with Dr.Podlosky . I dont recommend Federal Way location for final teeth.

In fact, my neck looks lumpy and disfigured from the procedure. I contacted Dr. Sabbagh's office last spring about this and waited 2 months to get a response, but none ever came. I wrote Dr. Sabbagh a letter last June asking her to contact me to discuss options for correcting the unsuccessful procedure. After that I received a letter from Dr. Sabbagh in which she informed me that I had missed a 6-month follow-up appointment and that since I was "non-compliant with postoperative appointments", I had "irreparably compromised" our relationship. She refused to work with me any longer. I apologized to Dr. Sabbagh for missing an appointment and expressed that I did not recall ever making that appointment nor did I receive any reminder calls from Dr. Sabbagh's office. I also told her that I did not think her dismissing me as her patient was warranted given that I had (supposedly) only missed one appointment, an event which is not uncommon among patients. She never responded to me after this and would not supply me with my medical records after I requested them from her in writing (this is illegal in the state of Washington). It is my opinion that Dr. Sabbagh overreacted in an unprofessional manner to what she perceived as a criticism of her work. I do not think the surgery was unsuccessful due to my missing a single postoperative appointment a full six months after the procedure. However, if the 6-month appointment was essential to my recovery, as she claims, then she declined to provide treatment before it was medically reasonable to do so. Her abandonment has caused me the cost of additional treatments, the loss of time in having to find another surgeon on my own, and the social embarrassment of a physical defect that became worse, not better, as a result of the surgery she performed. I believe her behavior has been exceptionally unethical and is tantamount to medical malpractice.
