It was fortunate that I managed to get into this place before it closed, namely because it seemed to get pretty quiet pretty quickly, despite it being a Saturday night. Still, as a pub it certainly wasn't bad, and it still had some of that old colonial charm about it, despite the fact that Wallaroo used to be a port town (and still is in a way). One thing that stood out was that rather nice beer garden out the back, something that I certainly did appreciate, and the friendly service that I got here as well. However, they didn't have a great selection of beers on tap, but then again, it does happen to be a country pub, so I guess I probably shouldn't really expect such. read more
