Still, as a pub it certainly wasn't bad, and it still had some of that old colonial charm about it, despite the fact that Wallaroo used to be a port town (and still is in a way). One thing that stood out was that rather nice beer garden out the back, something that I certainly did appreciate, and the friendly service that I got here as well. However, they didn't have a great selection of beers on tap, but then again, it does happen to be a country pub, so I guess I probably shouldn't really expect such.

Anyway, this place was an absolute delightful place to stay in Wallaroo. Not only is it pretty centrally located, but the rooms were gorgeous. We ended up having rooms in the main building, though there are other rooms outside. I guess the ones in the building were cool, or at least the one we had because there was this delightful balcony which gave us great views of the town, and the harbour. Oh, and the service was pretty awesome as well.

The owners have spent a lot of time and effort on the quaintness and feel of the place. They were very friendly and accommodating, we had nice conversations. I guess the young ones do need a place to all go and congregate, and this pub certainly does seem to be it. It's not as rowdy at other times, though it still seems to be rather popular. I liked it, even though the beer selection is still somewhat limited. Oh, and it also has a nice beer garden as well.
