Still, as a pub it certainly wasn't bad, and it still had some of that old colonial charm about it, despite the fact that Wallaroo used to be a port town (and still is in a way). However, they didn't have a great selection of beers on tap, but then again, it does happen to be a country pub, so I guess I probably shouldn't really expect such.

Anyway, this place was an absolute delightful place to stay in Wallaroo. Not only is it pretty centrally located, but the rooms were gorgeous. We ended up having rooms in the main building, though there are other rooms outside. I guess the ones in the building were cool, or at least the one we had because there was this delightful balcony which gave us great views of the town, and the harbour. Oh, and the service was pretty awesome as well.

The owners have spent a lot of time and effort on the quaintness and feel of the place. They were very friendly and accommodating, we had nice conversations. We will definitely be recommending them to all our friends and family and are looking forward to getting back there again.

I guess the young ones do need a place to all go and congregate, and this pub certainly does seem to be it. It's not as rowdy at other times, though it still seems to be rather popular.
