I've purchased a couple vehicles here and have been treated well and received a fair deal. There were some mechanical issues with the recent vehicle but these were handled and resolved fairly. I have also had various service and maintenance done at the service center and they have always done a very good job at a good price. We just bought a used car here and the transaction went very smooth. I had done my research, knew what car I wanted and so I asked them to make the process smooth. They did. We went and test drove the car. We were able to ask questions and paperwork got filled out quickly. Well I will never go back here ever! I bought a 2021 Subaru Ascent after speaking with Ryan and Evan telling them exactly what I was looking for they found this vehicle for me and I really do love it. But my Vehicle got stolen 3 days later it was needless to say a mess they did not have the dealer plate number they gave me. We tried to have Starlink locate vehicle which they couldn't because Ryan and Evan did not have it released from other owner. Had they had it released before selling it my car could of been shut down and found immediately. Basically was told sorry your on your own. They also promised to put a remote start in my car part of the deal in me purchasing vehicle. They said they would do it but I would need to come back a different day to do it. So I called to set that up also only to be told there guy does not do it anymore that use to do it for them so I'm SOL!! Stay far far away from this dealer they are very unorganized and make lots of empty promises! read more

Recently purchased a car from Weelborg and could not be more pleased with their service. Inquired about a vehicle online and received a super prompt response from a very friendly salesman named Joe. I live in Eden Prairie so I was hesitant about purchasing a car in Glencoe as it's nearly an hour from my house. Joe offered to bring the car to my home for a test drive. After deciding to purchase the car he took it back to the dealership for a full detail and returned with the car the next day, contract in-hand. It was snowing and the road conditions were less than optimal but Joe still delivered the car as promised and on time. The car price was exceptional and so was the service, I never had to leave my home. The easiest car buying process I have ever experienced. Will definitely be purchasing from Weelborg again! If you're in the metro and considering buying a car don't be apprehensive about purchasing from Weelborgf in Glencoe. They provide superior service and offer home delivery! read more

If you are looking for a auto dealership that is honest, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a place that reminds me of Denny Hecker's dealerships, this is it. To me, it's disappointing when you're told that a vehicle is top notch, and it isn't. There were several things wrong with the vehicles that we test drive today and when they were pointed out we were either told they didn't know, it was included in the price or that we could by an additional package which would maybe fix the problem. Bottom line, this business needs to care about the customer and not themselves. They need to sell a good product and be honest. Two things they fall extremely short on. read more

This is a difficult review for me to write... But write it I must, as I feel I owe any future buyers a word of caution on my experience, then they can decide for themselves. On one hand my experience with buying a used Chevy Pickup here was very pleasant; however, these positive feelings quickly dissipated as an issue came up after the sale that required resolution - which I did not get. Complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. I'm here in California and wanted a Silverado Hybrid pickup (good luck finding one for sale here period, let alone at a reasonable price)! Enter Kohls Weelborg! I found this Silverado through auto trader and called immediately. My sales associate Ryan was VERY forthright, honest and just plain pleasant to work with! He informed me of the process of buying the vehicle out of state and shipping it to me in California (they do it all the time), gave a very detailed description of truck, and alleviated my concerns about buying the truck sight unseen (besides the extensive online pictures/descriptions), so we proceeded with the deal. I was told it would take a week or two to ship, and that they would take care of the shipping arrangements, I would just need to pay the transit cost. The deal went smoothly on the paperwork front and in a week of back and forth paper signing, I owned the truck! Then the waiting started. One week, two weeks, three weeks go by and no shipping arranged! Finally I got word a truck was scheduled and 1 month after the purchase I would have my truck! To Ryan's credit, he kept in DAILY communications with me on status... So much so we started becoming friends in the process. I would give him 5 stars on this review, but for the second stage of this deal, and my 1 star review for the business itself. When I received the truck, My wife noticed right away the giant dent on the tailgate! Inspecting it closer, you could tell it was fresh scraping down to metal, it was 6" tall and 4" wide with a giant crease in the middle... How could this be? I was assured the condition was great and the pictures showed no such dent! I quickly checked the check-in inspection/bill of lading paperwork from the shipper where it showed a giant dent at time of pickup. Additionally, the Chevy bowtie emblem seemed damaged with water or solvent or something. I called Ryan the next day, where he assured me at time of purchase there was no dent to the tailgate, but he admitted the bowtie emblem issue, so they quickly sent me a new emblem in the mail, problem solved there, but they would not stand by the "doink" in the tailgate. Furious, (not at Ryan but at management decision not to make this right), I demanded to speak with his manager. Enter Chris... Chris proceeded to unravel, very quickly all the good will built up with this transaction so far. He stated it was not their responsibility for an issue occurring during transit (would be correct if the bill of lading/check-in paperwork had not shown it already there at time of pickup.) After some back and forth, I discovered the truck was actually driven one hour north to Shakopee MN, where it was dropped off to another "Chris @ Northstar Auto Auction", (which, by the way no-one ever told me I was doing business with this entity) the truck received the "DOINK" that needed fixing. Now Chris from Kohls Weelborg refused to acknowledge the paperwork from the shipper that said it was existing prior to pickup, denied they ever did a pre-inspection check out, denied assistance to me in chasing that paperwork down at Northstar (who refuses to answer/return calls, but which COULD have proved no-fault by Northstar or Kohls Weelborg), admitted that Kohls Weelborg does not have any process to document the vehicles movement from company to company, and then had the audacity to say it was MY FAULT that I never flew half way across the country to do the pre-inspection before transit pickup. As to how they could make this right for me, he suggested I "file an insurance claim!" Amazing. After several emails with quotes on work required to fix showing anywhere from $550 to $1250, he offered an insulting $150 to make me go away, but with the caveat they accepted no fault. I'd rather they keep the $150 and allow me to share my experience with any future buyer. So, here's the bottom line... Unless you are OK with your vehicle entering a liability black hole for a month (where anything can happen to it without ANYONE having liability), then by all means, go for it. I would not do this deal again until Kohls Weelborg tightens up their process and documentation tracking the movement of your vehicle, and suggest you think twice as well. read more
