Nice place to see lots of nature and crystal clear water. The stream runs downstream, you barely need to paddle other that to steer in the right direction away from branches. The adventure is about an hour and twenty minutes but you get the kayak for two hours, plenty of time to go slow down the stream and enjoy the beauty. Overall a good experience.

We've lived in the area for almost two decades. We've done the Weekie Wachee River in personal kayaks & SUP's and rentals. Our last trip, yesterday, we rented from Weekie Wachee Kayaking . We made a reservation 2 days prior and even though it was a busy Saturday they had us covered. (2 doubles & 2 singles). Plenty of parking at their Cortez office and a 3 minute shuttle ride to the launch site. Launching was smooth, as was coming back in. The crew was great! The double kayaks were nice and buoyant and the singles were comfortable. (Thank you for returning my pocket knife Sir!) You will be paddling upstream which isn't as much fun BUT the nice part is you are going with the current on the trip back. Easy, relaxed and occasionally Quiet... We'll be back here, great staff, nice kayaks and Availability!

The process has changed since some of the other reviews here were written. Their put in location is at Rogers park, the same place all the other kayak places are. If you don't want to kayak up river you can go to Weekie Wachee state park and float down river for 2 miles, but you're dealing with all the people that are going to the park. Pros - easy to communicate with, just call them! - parking at their location next to Rogers Park -$35 for the whole day, single kayak Cons - the kayak is on the shorter side and ride lower in the water, if you are tall or heavier I would ask for a longer kayak

We had Belicia Torres was such a great tour guide. Gave us such a great experience. I would recommend this tour and Belicia to anyone!

The state park was sold out at noon and this place welcomed us. They saved our birthday trip! Great customer experience from the phone call to hitting the water. First time on the Weeki Wachee River and we'll definitely be back! It's upstream but all that means is the way back is smooth sailing.

Reserved online. Never received a confirmation or any directions. Had to look up how to get there. Did a Sunday kayaking on the river. Rented a tandem kayak. Checked in and was given some info. Walked around to the back and received a life vest. Walked down to get in river was told needed to go back up to get paddles. Hm. Ok. Water was great. Beautiful view but didn't see any manatees. At the end it was a little confusing no one there to tell you anything. Sat there 10 minutes before someone showed up to pick us up. Whole thing seemed a little in organized.

This was my second time using this company and both times have been great. They make it extremely easy for you to enjoy the day!

Way too many people. I got sucked under a motor boat. I would not recommend kayaking here.

From hunter's kayaks and tours it's a 2 min walk to hunters spring. We saw atleast 10 manatees in the spring and three dolphins were even in the swim area. 10/10 would recommend

That was weird Then she didn't tell us we had to pay for parking at the dock neither did the guy that was at the dock when we got there! I overheard him telling someone after we were done for the day he said that they can park at the rental place and walk so they don't have to pay but we were already unloading and done with our rental. We got back to the car and had a $50 ticket. I would be fine with paying but I didn't see any of the signs or where to meter even was. I also told her I wasn't swimming and she said to get in the water you have to have an wetsuit which costs extra and I kept saying I'm not getting in the water but I she just ignored me and then I saw SO MANY PEOPLE not in wetsuits so that was irritating. And the wetsuits were in terrible shape they had holes and stains all over it she handed it to me and I was like thins is what I paid $100 for ? And she was like yeah they are all old. This is a CRAP Buisness!!! Especially what you get for the price!! The manatees are cool and I recommend doing it but NOT using this company.
