There are a couple short hiking trails with lots of props placed here and there. Yes, there are full time people in the camp, and some are very poor; the kindness of the camp owner is a good thing. If you stay here and expect a normal campground, you might be disappointed, but if you are ready for a little kookieness and very nice people, try this place.

We're used to Ginnie Springs or similar parks so this was new to us. I'm giving it 4 stars bc the owner, Jeff and the residents were friendly. The camp sites were clean, offered power, sewer and water and was very quiet. We didn't see a lot of families but it's towards the end of summer so didn't expect to. There are 3 bathrooms/showers. We only used the ones at the pool area and they were nice. The pond has a lot of brim, bass and more for catch and release. They offer kayaks and canoes to use anytime before dusk. After passing by other campgrounds that we saw on google I think we'd definitely stay here again. It's literally a 5 minute drive to Weeki Wachee too!

If you're arriving after dark, be cautious--the entrance sign is not lit. I was driving a 40-foot motorhome towing a 30-foot trailer and mistakenly took the first turn instead of the second. The signage isn't illuminated, so headlights are helpful to confirm you're in the right place. I highly recommend arriving before dark. The campground is very quiet and feels like stepping back into "old Florida." It sits right on the river, where we saw otters playing and fish jumping--literally jumping two feet out of the water. Very cool. We stayed in Site 20, a pull-in site with excellent river views and located right next to the boat ramp. There's a small store on-site that sells firewood, fire rings at the sites, and it's perfect for a relaxing evening. The permanent residents were extremely friendly and helpful. Kayaks are available to rent for river trips (we didn't do that this time). They don't sell bait, but there's a great bait and tackle shop less than a quarter mile across the street with wonderful people--perfect for fishing off the dock. No problems at all, the dogs loved it, and my wife really enjoyed how relaxing it was. We'd happily stay again.

Owners and employees are awesome, and the River next to the campsite is beautiful. It was a busy weekend in Ocala considering a virus was spreading. Every camp site in the national park was booked. That did not stop my friends and I from looking. We ended up finding Bronson's camp which was an hour and a half away from from where we were, But this camping was happening one way or another. When we arrived we were sketched out, this place is in the middle of nowhere in central Florida. You see crazy sh** in the movies, so anything becomes scary right. Anyhow, we come across this beautiful river which we ended up camping next to. We are so happy to have discovered this gem. The owners were welcoming, kind, and patient. The employees were fun, one hung out with us for a bit. The people around the camp were super nice. The river was pretty, the way the trees hovered and the dock with two mean ducks haha. Canoes were available for rent ($25) which I would of taken if I hadn't been to intoxicated. It's $15 per tent (2person). Cheap compared most campgrounds. The bathrooms are not luxurious but if you spent time outdoors it's not something that matters. My night here was unforgettable, no one shut us up, there was 14 of us and it was late at night, so please be respectful and modest. I don't want this beautiful place to become over regulated because a couple of stupid people. Anyway, thank you so much! Will definitely come back. BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY, I did not get bit with it on

I will start off by saying that 5 stars are not nearly enough to rate the experience with my stay…read morehere. It really is already clearly stated perfectly in the name "FARM OF DREAMS". To say this majestic and beautiful place is a hidden gem seems both incredibly accurate, as well as not entirely accurate enough. I firmly believe that any way this amazing place could be described or complimented would somehow still be far understated. If I am giving the standard rating based on stars and personal experience, I must say that this is a "MUST SEE" Florida destination. The Farm of Dreams is magnificent from the moment you pull up to the coded gate that offers a very safe/private and personal experience. Anyone that travels with little ones in tow can certainly appreciate knowing the importance of this safety bonus as an amenity. From the time you book your reservation up to the time you check out you are met with professionalism that is complimented with a type of kindness and courtesy that instantly gives that home away from home feeling. This 120acre Campground/RV resort is Family run and absolutely impeccably maintained. While your family is enjoying nature at is finest the staff works non- stop behind the scenes. On a personal note, I would like to thank Brandy for being so professional while also always maintaining a friendly and welcoming smile. Your ability to accommodate to whatever needs my family had last minute was greatly appreciated as well as impressive. Cassie a thousand thanks for your professionalism that always seemed to be attached to a great big smile while providing the most absolutely best kept and immaculately cleaned facilities. I also want to thank Josh and Joey/aka JoJo for all that you guys helped me with during my stay. As well as all that you do daily to keep this property so manicured and pristinely maintained. It truly lives up to that resort style feeling while camping. From tents, r v's, campers and cabins to choose from for your experience, this family run Jewel is something you don't want to miss. Beautiful lake view, many trails to walk hike or ride on a rented golf cart to explore. Indoor outdoor games and activities that promise to leave you relaxed, unbothered and never bored! If you have not been to the website, I highly recommend you review all they have to offer. This salt of the earth, old fashioned family run Farm of Dreams has nailed it! What you read on the site is all accurate and then some. Almost 50yrs. living in Florida with countless camping experiences, this is by far the best of the best. If you are considering a camping experience look no further and book now. There may be times where they are fully booked and you certainly don't want to miss out on this one. I recommend booking far in advance, only due to the fact that it will not stay hidden forever. Thanks to Pappa Joe, Mrs. Linda and Diane. An amazing family and an amazing job that you guys have all done turning a farm into a literal slice of Heaven on Earth with the perfect name and resort style camping experience that will no doubt bring endless smiles, laughter, relaxation and fun for all who are blessed to experience the "Farm of Dreams'"

It was a good place to stay for four days, but not a place I would consider a destination. The RV campground is 95% full time residents, we were the only RV to arrive or leave within the four days we stayed. Our space was cramped and the hookups were located very inconveniently, I had to drag our sewer hose under our RV to the opposite side. This RV park had water, sewer, and electric. There was a laundry room, which was clean but two of the three washers were out of service. The WiFi was OK for casual usage. The only reason I am giving the campground two stars is that the newly maintained RV campground roads were excellent and that the price reflects the quality of the campground, it was considerably cheaper than other campgrounds we have stayed at. Would I recommend this park? Not really. Would we come back? Not likely. Informational: We travel in a 36' Class A RV.

Well maybe it would not be so-ugly if every-one PAID their RENT. There is one person here that could make up for Their late rent or absentee of their paying no rent. Perhaps they could do some up-grading of all the facilities. I believe you might be jealous of the guys drinking beer because they ran you off for being a "MOOCHER". But then you also might be a little ticked after flying that drone of yours nearly into the head of the ex-con. But that ex-con should not bother you. You are accustomed to being around CONS! In fact you too are an x-con. What was it now that sent you to a prison? Yes, I know now. It was for Cocaine! Now you by now have tried unsuccessfully to figure out who I am. I used my correct name. But if you don't have the intelligence to figure it out, I am the guy that you tried to intimidate this evening with that drone. I am also an ex-cop, an ex-prison guard, And a man that actually taught self-defense to other cops. Now you know where I live, and my Life's History of my CRIME free living, I'll tell you one more thing. I also have over 350 hours of training in the classroom and firing range. I shot better than an expert (298 and 299 out of 300.) I also have a CCW license, and I do pack. It will not blow a door in you but it WILL ruin your day. And while working at that Prison, I never got my backside kicked Not Once! NEVER! One more thing, Isn't it about time for you to make the second payment on that Cadillac? It has been what eleven Months? That old Man is a Veteran and while his finances are in good shape, YOU are cheating him. If your Father never taught you to respect others, Come up! I will teach you. This is a decent place but it could be better if everyone paid their rent as they said they would. I would have left but I have too may good friends here for me to leave. You Sir, You are a pain in the rear for everyone you meet. I didn't judge you for your past but you judge that man by his past and then wrote a third person review. But it is not truthful!
