Had a blast! Such magnificent scenery, never saw anything like that before You could tell Cap'n Billy loves what he does and is a steward of the area. Wow does that boat go fast and turn on a dime. I feel the same way as Dennis and "the u". It was mainly driving the boat out to some islands to stop 3 times for 5 minutes each to see basic things you don't need an airboat to see - pelicans, sponges and sea grass. I specialize in educational nature trips and we did not learn a whole lot either. If you have never been on a boat before, then you may get excited being on an air boat but for folks who are interested in seeing a lot of nature that they cannot see by walking or paddling along the canals or river, this is not the tour for you. That is my two cents. I emailed the owner Gary to give feedback and he got defensive and threatened to write a bad review of my nonprofit charitable organization. An astonishing waste of money -- we got on the boat, and the tour guide simply drove us around for 60 straight minutes without *one single word* explaining what we were seeing. All we heard was the constant Vroom-Vroom-Vroom of the fan blaring in all ears, bumping us along the Florida swampland -- and we literally saw NOTHING. Just the same wasteland stretching out for hours on end with NO information from our purported tour guide. He didn't explain anything about what we were seeing. So highly do NOT recommend this if you want to actually (1) learn something about the Florida waterways (2) see something more interesting than wasteland for an hour. Incredibly disappointing experience where I literally could have gotten the same feeling by sitting in front of a gigantic fan blowing in my face for 60 straight minutes. read more

What a grand adventure with Captain Billy. We did a sunset trip out into the Gulf and down to Homosassa. It's a beautiful, fun ride. Billy is very knowledgeable and friendly. He's also a total badass Captain, threading the boat though right channels. Forget amusement rides, this is the real thing-plus, in November there were hundreds of migratory white Pelicans. Our guide drove us for an hour in a circuitous fashion non stop on an incredibly loud boat. No information, no pointing out, no telling this is where we are going, nothing. You are not allowed to get up from your chair for safety reasons. So you are trapped in a roller coaster from hell. At first I thought our captain was trolling us and there would be something we would see or some place we would end up. But nothing. We ended up at the same place, and he told us that was it and he hopes we had fun. Just like that an hour was sucked out from my life. We created extreme noise pollution, disturbed all the marine life on the gulf coast and contributed to global warming. What a waste of dead dinosaurs. read more

3 of us took the airboat ride with Capt Billy. What a great time! Very friendly folks, easy check in, and we were on our way. We wove thru a river on the way to the Gulf, and it was beautiful. The ride was smooth and Capt Billy certainly knew his way thru this maze. We then were in the Gulf, saw dolphins, and Capt Billy told us about coral, various fish, and other aspects of the ecosystem. this is by far the best airboat ride tour out there ! this marina is great and everyone there is super nice and friendly! our tour guide billy was super great and funny and brought us to the most amazing locations. we saw tons of birds and even drove up to a huge school of dolphins. the dolphins love the airboats and we're swimming all around and underneath us. Billy then let the dolphins swim in the wake behind our boat which was so cool ! we saw stingrays and tons of fish too ! beautiful beautiful experience and was definitely worth it !!! read more

Great air boat ride with Captains Mark and John. Very friendly and gave us a wonderful boat ride. Saw a lot of Dolphins that played alongside the boat as we drive around the River and springs. Excellent. We did two air boats rides in this area and Ozello by far was better. Captain Tim did a safety briefing. The other didn't. The Ozello trip included the thrill of an airboat - fast, porpoising maneuvers - lots of fun. The other was like a kiddie ride at a park. Boring. With Captain Tim we learned a bit about the history of the area; we stopped and had a chance to see and learn about the seabed-sponges, coral, sea grass varieties, etc. the hour ride passed way too quickly.
