These guys are hired to do my condo property and have been absolutely terrible in the past…read more After the most recent snowfall, we (multiple tenants) shoveled a little pathway (half a shovel wide) to get to our parking lot in the afternoon. They showed up at night, but instead of doing their job, they just took pictures of the property and packed up and left. If you have the chance to hire them, hire a few 10 year olds with a shovel instead. These guys are the absolute worst. And their lawn "care" isn't much better, either.

They did not bag the grass after being asked to. They cut back on services, but kept the price the same and pulled out of snow removal. My dad was dying of cancer and hoped that he could help my mom out after he passed away. This was NOT "worry free" for my mother at all. They mowed half the grass too low and that half of the yard had dead, yellow grass. When a complaint went in, we were told to just water it more. Their response time is awful and they pick and choose what emails, texts or phone calls they will respond to. My mom waited weeks to hear from Austin, but they will certainly respond when money is involved. Many, many chances were given and each time it was absolute disappointment for my mom. Brutal customer service, awful job done on the grass and then cut off services to my mother without reducing monthly pay. They do not care about their customers. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered 10 cubic yards of mulch from these folks. I went in, paid in full and arranged delivery…read morefor a week later. The mulch cost roughly $600 and the delivery was another $400. That is a steep delivery charge but I live an hour out of town so I accepted it without a word. Now my issue: The policy at Waxy's is no refunds. They will, though, issue you a store credit. When I initially went in and ordered, the nice young lady asked for the length, width and depth of my yard. She then told me that I'd need 10 cubic yards of mulch to do the job. Later in the week I realized that 10 cubic yards would be way too much and I called them too reduce the amount. Now keep in mind, no mulch had been loaded on to a truck. It was still sitting in a very large pile in their yard. I know this because they didn't load it on the truck until mid afternoon and I received it at 4:30 p.m. I took the day off from work to wait for this stuff and consequently wasted an entire day but that is not the point of this review. So now I am the proud owner of a $280 in store credit at a company that will charge me $400 to deliver. So I am effectively $120 in the hole before I even pay dollar one for product. I begged for them to make an exception as I felt that they shouldn't hold me responsible for their math problem. Not to mention that the mulch was never touched until it was loaded onto the truck on the day of delivery. Why couldn't they decrease the amount ordered and issue a credit? I gave them plenty of notice before the day of delivery. I could see if I had taken it and then brought back what I didn't need and tried to return it. I could see if they took 10 cubic yards out of the yard and separated my order beforehand. None of that was the case. Nothing was touched at that point. Anyway, I make my living in business development. I work with small and medium sized businesses all the time. My job is to help business owners grow their market share and increase their revenue. Waxy's has lost my future business as well as my extended network of family and friends. DG
