I paid over $800 for this service to come and spray my lawn and garden for weeds. They promised to come every month and control The growth. They have come twice and now I haven't seen them for 9 weeks. I've called twice and they said they'd get to me then someone called and asked how the service was going. Called Weed Man to have a rock area sprayed for weeds. The driver came out and gave me a price and stated if they didn't kill everything, they would come out again for free for a second round. I was also told this on the phone when I first called in. After two weeks, I called in and advised them they had only killed half of the weeds. At that point, they advised me because I was not under a monthly contract for services, I would not be getting the second spraying for free. In essence, I was misinformed twice, paid the full price, and they only killed half my weeds. read more

Customer Service? Leaves a lot to be desired. I just started with weedman so I don't want to give a full review just yet on the quality or results of the treatment. However, after the first treatment I have a section of my lawn that was burned by the fertilizer that was applied. So I called today to have someone come out to look at it and I was told that the soonest anyone could come out would be Thursday. Today is Mondsy. Second, when I call I get a call center person out if state, not a local customer service person. In fact, I can't even talk to a local person from the local franchisee. This is not a good sign for me. I will write a full review after I see what they are going to do to resolve the issue of my burned lawn. read more

As a landscaping company, the Weed Man has no idea what landscaping is and has zero respect for their customers neighbors. I am a neighbor of a Weed Man customer and planted grass seeds 8 days ago to repair the winter damage in my yard. I watered my yard a couple of hours before the Weed Man came to spray pre-emergent herbicide on my neighbors yard. While the technician was doing that, he disrespectfully walked in my yard and on top of my planted seeds that are just emerging. To top it off, he threw the sprayer hose on top of that area and stood on top top of it while wrapping up the hose that has herbicide on it. Needless to say, this company is careless and disrespectful. Even when I requested to speak with a manager, the managers refused to talk with me. So, If you want to hire a company that has no basic knowledge of the field that they specialize in and/or just do not like your neighbors, hire the Weed Man. And to all prospective employees, look for another company to work for because the managers will not support their employees and will more than likely throw them under the bus. read more

These guys can't take no for an answer. Be prepared for constant upselling. They become aggressive when you try and cancel. One rep refused to cancel our service unless we gave a reason. He actually said "no reason" is not acceptable. Man, just cancel it and get on with your life. Another rep called me and left a voice mail that my wife can't cancel the service because my name is on the account. That's not going to keep our business - that's just going to makes me angry that you are disrespecting my wife - and prompt me to write this review. As I was writing this they called me again! DO NOT USE DENVER WEEDMAN! As Spring approaches, I am sure we will all start working on our landscaping. I want to post a word of caution: DO NOT use the company Weedman (https://denver.weedman.com/) . I used to use their service in 2023. It was awful. I still had weeds. Sprayer would come out and get in his truck and leave 3 minutes later. NO WAY he could have sprayed my entire landscaping. So when I received the email to renew for 2024 on Jan. 23rd, I immediately wrote back and said -- CANCEL my service, I will not be renewing. This was AFTER I had also called at the end of 2023's last service to ensure they knew I was done, not renewing. So when I got the email I was irked and immediately wrote back. Fast forward to last week. I get an invoice in the mail that they had gone out to my PREVIOUS address (a home that is on the market and vacant) and sprayed .... and asked me to pay the bill. It's $57. It's not about the money. I'm paying the bill because their management refuses to do the right thing and zero out that invoice. Used every excuse in the book. I have mailed my $57 in -- it's not about the money. I just don't like being taken by companies that perform poor business practices -- AND hire poor management. There are PLENTY of weed/ spray / landscaping companies out there. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake -- DO NOT USE WEEDMAN. read more

If you think hiring "weedman" will help you to pull less weeds, you would be wrong. I gave them a solid shot all summer and I was ( and am) pulling a large amount of weeds every weekend. I have finally decided to cancel my service and nothing has changed except the confidence I feel having my "dog safe" yard back. I think paying a teenager or a friend willing to use natural spray and help you pull your weeds would be more effective for cost as well as getting rid of weeds. I just learned that a full package of service isn't really that full. If I want any insect or grub control, they want $165 bucks more. Given that I pay $55 per treatment, that seems like a lot. Off to Home Depot. (as a note, Weed Man seems kind of pricey, on a couple of occasions last year, I had double services done (a double aeration). You would think you would get a discount on the 2nd service since they did not have an additional trip expense. You would be wrong. Charge away!!!). After this review I was contacted by WeedMan and they explained how their plans worked. They even sent a tech out to look at my lawn and discuss the small issues. I appreciate the follow up as well as their knowledgeable staff and I have upgraded the rating (I do believe that if a customer called with a problem, they would send someone out). Their belief is that the standard service allows the lawn to be strong enough to avoid most issues so they are able to offer a lower cost. However, I am still having to resolve some small lawn problems on my own so I am skeptical about the theory. For what its worth, their services have really helped my lawn and I do believe them to be knowledgeable so I will probably stay with them but having expensive add ons for what I consider common lawn issues (bugs, grubs and fungus) in Colorado frustrates me. read more

I have no idea how their actual service is, but I have repeatedly told their phone sales department that their reviews in my area are terrible and I'm not interested in their services, and they always tell me I must have read them incorrectly and that they don't know where I'm getting my information. 400 bucks down the drain and a lot of headaches!!!! This company has been my nightmare. They won't stop showing up, sending no invoices and then multiple ones that aren't correct. I have been in contact with customer service but they aren't shutting the issues down and perpetuating business work their poorly and awkward staff to give them free reign to keep coming back to my home. Ryan is a creepy technician who made us VERY uncomfortable. Andy Kurth is a poorly trained customer account manager with terrible communication skills. Sherri in customer service seems like the only person who is competent in this company, however I don't have hours to sit on the phone to resolve issues only to receive a 5 dollar compensation for your incompetence. Stop coming to my home, stop sending invoices for imaginary services. Finally, we don't have a complicated lawn with abnormal issues but this company has increased my lawns weeds and I have seen no improvement on my lawn care. I feel like we have been pushed into a corner and paid hundreds of dollars to receive no beneficial outcome. I would absolutely reconsider before using this company. read more

I decided to hire Weed Man after a 2 years ago after battling the weeds in my yards the couple of years prior and not getting the results that I (or my girlfriend) were looking for. They have done a great job for us, the yard looks great and they are good about making something right if it isn't up to par. OK, so I wanted to update my review again because Weed Man has really gone above and beyond to get us back on track and make sure I am satisfied with the services I had paid for. I think my original review, and previous bad experiences from years ago can all be chalked up to lack of communication. Mostly on my part, as it is really my duty to inform them if the weeds aren't dying off. It is not their responsibility to drive by and check (although they have). Since my original 1 star, then updated 3 star, they have now been back for respraying at least twice and plan to come again in a few weeks. The yard is looking much better. Thank you Weed Man for listening to my concerns and following through on our action plan. Also, thank you Jason (the lawn tech) for being so patient when you found our dog hiding outside, I don't know of another lawn service company who would hang out with our dog, playing with him on the back patio until we could come get him. read more

Wesam has done a great job on our lawn. Weed Man is the first lawn care subscription we've ever had after 19 years of home ownership and it's been well worth the investment because our lawn has never looked better. Communication has been excellent and they've proactively recommended specific treatments, such as for grubs. I was skeptical at first that we needed the treatment until they showed us the grubs they'd dug up. Later in the summer, we noticed that the corner lot up the street from us was in bad shape and we could tell from the education Weed Man had given us that it was from grubs. Again, super happy with the customer service from Wesam and the company as a whole. read more

They show up without consent and then force you to pay for services not agreed to and send out their 3rd party collection service to threaten and bully you into compliance. I am very happy with the service and lawn care Weed Man has provided. I am a new home owner and signed up in June. The technicians are always timely, courteous and helpful. They do a thorough analysis of the yard and make recommendations customized to your individual needs. I love the fact that they text the day before to let you know they are coming. It's super easy to reschedule as well. My lawn looked beautiful all summer long. I haven't even watered since the first snowfall in early October and my lawn is green and gorgeous. Do not hire this company. They are aggressive and do not listen. They killed off half of my lawn to the point that the company that mows for me told me that I will need to re-sod next year. They told me that certain services were not included in my package and to add would be a ridiculous amount of money ($175 for fall fertilization and aeration, which is double what I wound up paying). They automatically signed me up for 2019 service and have no way of cancelling on their website. I emailed with them nicely asking to cancel, but instead of saying, OK sorry to see you go, they continued to hard sell me ... through 3 emails. I was not nice in my last email to them, to which they complained that I was not nice but that they'd cancel my service. THEN I just got a text from them telling me that they're coming tomorrow to do the service (fall fertilizer) that I'd paid for in my package, but that they had told me a month ago was NOT included. We were having some difficulty communicating with Weed Man regarding our yard concerns. We were wanting to fix our yard, not just buy the packages they offered. We did get someone to come out and talk to us about what needed to be done. That helped, but still the yard wasn't looking any better. Weed Man Lawn Care uses deceptive and annoying marketing tactics. They leave a pre-recorded message claiming that they're attempting to follow up about the quote I requested, even though I have never requested a quote. They call and leave this message almost daily, and often multiple times in a single day. I eventually blocked the number from which they were calling, only to begin receiving the same calls from different numbers a short time later. I won't give money to a business that not only uses annoying telemarketing, but also structures their voicemail in a deceptive fashion to increase callbacks. It's not okay. read more
