As soon as we reached out to Ray, he answered us SAME DAY! We were so grateful! We sent Ray a few photos and he quickly quoted us a fair price and scheduled a quick clean up. Our yard was in ROUGH shape, and Ray fixed it up better than it was when we moved into the place. He was meticulous and thorough, and he exceeded my expectations! Our yard is tough - all rocks and mulch and big bushes and weeds - but he really knew what he was doing and got it looking nice! He also hauled everything away, which was nice. Now I'm not embarrassed about the way our yard looks! We really appreciate Ray. I would 10/10 recommend Walker Lawn Service and will absolutely have him back!

The company advertises "professional, reliable, trained experts," but the service has been anything but that from day one. From the very first visit, the quality of work was disappointing. The man who arrived performed work that honestly could have been done by a teenager for a fraction of the cost, yet we were charged nearly $300. When I asked basic lawn care questions, his trained expert opinion was he wasn't sure. Completely unsure and unable to provide answers! They also promise advance notice before arriving, but they have failed to do so repeatedly. Crews have shown up as late as 8PM on a Saturday without any communication. Most concerning, while we were out of town, they SOMEHOW entered our LOCKED backyard without permission. We never authorized access, and entering a locked yard without consent is completely unacceptable and felt like a violation of our privacy. On top of that, the work itself is careless. Weeds along the sides are ignored, grass clippings are left piled around the house. For the amount they charge, the service is nowhere near worth it. This company requires full payment for the entire season upfront, but when we tried to cancel due to poor service and requested a refund since they would not be completing a full season worth of services, we were told "sorry wish we could help you, but the money has already gone to operations". Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive documentation supporting the alleged "verbal no refund would be issued agreement". To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I overheard another customer expressing similar frustrations with the company's service!! Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

What really irritated me though is not a single courtesy call that the appointment would be cancelled, no attempt to explain, nowhere on the one time service call agreement I signed did it say anything about auto-cancellation. I responded to their cancellation message and they didn't even have decency to reply. In the end it was easy money they left on the table for what ended up being a quick, simple task. I would avoid this company due to some sketchy business practices and lack of professionalism.

His neglect cost us over $25,000…read more First, he neglected to see obvious water and paint damage on the wall 10 inches from a sump pump - where there had been a sump pump leak. He took 3 photos of this exact sump pump, but missed the water damage on the wall where he took the photos. This flood caused mold spreading 200 ft. Second, he missed visible mold larger than a golf ball growing behind the stairs. Third, he missed two gaping holes around 2 different external pipes on the exterior sidewall- one pipe he literally took a photo of but didnt notice that all the grouting was gone. This cost us $800 in damage because we had to flood the area to see if this was the source of mold (but the source was in fact the sump pump, with water damage on the wall, that he didnt notice.). The second gaping hole on the exterior pipe allowed a mice infestation - again, grout deterioration and a hole around a pipe that he missed. Last, he has taken zero accountability for any of this neglect, positioning it as "I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with our services." I didnt ask for the $25,000 - I asked only for a service refund and the $800 for the gaping hole. I felt it was a reasonable request and he offered only a refund and to sign a form that I wouldn't sue - because he clearly knew I had a case to sue him. I dont want to sue him, but I do want to protect you from going through the 3 months of agony (thinking we had a fundamental foundation problem) that I went through. For your own peace of mind, please choose someone else!

Been living in CO for a few years and have struggled keeping my yard looking good during the summer. It does not rain here as much as the Midwest :) I decided to take a risk and hired Weed Man this year to see if I got better results. The short answer: Absolutely! My yard is still green and it is now September. And no weeds! I have a neighbor who is retired and loves his lawn. Hand waters it almost every day. It looks like a golf course. I was having a hard time finding a company that would do hand weeding in my rock beds. I also…read morewanted someone to just come mow once a week or every other. Very minimal needs, and just wanted some help weeding and mowing consistently. Dan stoped by and walked my property with me, and gave a lot of other suggestions about how to set up my drip lines or plant flowers or help my lawn get greener. He seemed to know what he was talking about! I said that perhaps long term I would be interested, but overall I wanted him to focus on just the weeding in my rock beds and my lawn. All I really wanted was my weeds to be gone. I also went and purchased flowers for the season, that my friend and I were going to plant after Mother's Day. And Dan said he could just get them in the ground for me, since he was there anyway. I then went on vacation for 4 days. He was supposed to be WELL done with those minimal projects by the time I returned. However, I returned, to what was nothing short of a disaster. He had (pictures attached): - Ripped all of my drip lines out of the ground - Thatched my grass into an oblivion without giving it water or nutrients after - Used the DEAD grass to fill in massive holes in my lawn from where he "weeded" - Did not weed my rock beds at all - Pulled all of my existing plants out of the ground, and let them die. Then replanted dead plants around my property. - Let the new flowers I bought die on the side of my house, potting them in mulch and clay - Removed the metal edging from my lawn and stole rocks my my neighbors properties to line the lawn with - Decided to bring broken drawers he had spray painted to put plants in above ground planters that were super ugly and nothing I had asked for It was awful. He did not charge me. But it was one of my worst experiences as a home owner. I spent grueling hours with my neighbors, had to buy all new bushes/flowers, and have spent all summer attempting to get my lawn back to life and property to be presentable. Finding a new company to help was hard because most people were booked up, but I did eventually find one and everything is coming together. I am also attaching a before picture so you know my property was generally "fine" to begin with. I would not recommend this company.

Our yard is tough - all rocks and mulch and big bushes and weeds - but he really knew what he was doing and got it looking nice! He also hauled everything away, which was nice. I give this company 3 stars because they actually do a great job on the actual lawn service... It's…read moretheir lack of communication, and sticking to a scheduled plan that after 3 months of using their service became to be a real issue. Which in my opinion became very unprofessional. Erik the owner of the company and the gentleman who has been servicing my lawn was great until he stopped communicating all together... Here's what happened... I had to call Erik every scheduled lawn day to see if he was even going to show up. At one point he no showed and I had to beg him to fit me in that week because my lawn was getting too long to wait a whole other week! When I initially met with Erik we agreed upon having the lawn completed in the mornings bi weekly on Wednesday because that was best for us. The only time he ever showed up on our scheduled time was the 1st 2 times! Every other time I waited and waited for him to come then finally called him in the afternoon asking if he was planning to still come! He said in a nonchalant manner that he'll be here just running behind... But it happened every week from that point until yesterday when he completely no showed again. I decided not to call him until the evening to see if he's show up later. He never did! Then when I call, the call goes straight to voicemail and my texts get ignored. He rarely responded to text. But in the beginning he did right away! A customer comes 1st, especially when you make a commitment to them for an agreed upon service, day, and time! It's the company's duty to show up on time and complete the service! I wouldn't be writing this review right now if it had only been once or twice but it became every single time a chase to see if he was coming, a ghosting with no communication at all, or an ill be there but later as if I'm on his schedule not an agreed upon schedule that works best for the client! A customer should never have to chase down their service company when there's already a prearranged plan scheduled bi weekly, ever! I'm not even that angry, I'm just very disappointed because Erik does do a beautiful job on the yard as you'll see in the images. My grass is GREEN, it just needs mowed.... and he offers a great price! It's as mentioned everything else... Now I have to search all over again for a new company before my yard gets out of control! Erik still hasn't responded to my texts from yesterday or today regarding rescheduling the work missed yesterday! I'm really bummed...
