Would not Recommend, very rude and unfriendly people. For this to be for children would not bring my children back to this place.on top of them being rude , you wait forever even with appointment. first off i'd like to say this review is basically for the scheduling - I was told i had 22 missed appointments so i was kicked out of the practice a week after my child's sick visit - i was discharged. I never got any reminder calls, when i did cancel my appointments i was still marked no -show for all my children- i update my phone number on numerous occasions. You can pull all phone calls, since they're recorded i wish you would! I am upset because i finally thought i found a good pediatric place- , SEEMS that the referral part went no where, phone number could not be updated- even after more than 5 times repeating my self! i tried to complain to management and then was discharged for it. I was kind about it just honest about what is happening . I always had to goto Sunrise Hospital when my kids were sick because they never had availability- I don't EVERRRRRRRRRRR write bad reviews- I am this time ! i've been taking my son here for years. i had 430pm appointment last night. i ask for the lastest appointment that provider had. i was sitting in room with my son for over hour. the also forgot to tell me i wasnt seen the same provider because she didnt take medicaid anymore. this office needs better communications skills...... read more

Scheduled an appointment for my newborn to be circumcised, was told it would be the same day. I call back to ask about the out of pocket pricing so we know what to expect and they found no appointment. We were also told that they don't do that at their office. I was disappointed with the misinformation provided and what asked, "what do you want us to do? Do you still want to come in or no?". We then asked to speak to another representative and decided to come in. On our second visit after an hour we were not called. I went up to the front desk to ask when we would be called, they said they forgot about us. We never went back and switched to the Durango location. It is a bit of a wait but they are always so nice and attentive. read more

wait times are really long every time i come to the point that my babies start crying very disappointed.

When I call asking for a doctor to fill out a form that I NEED in order to enroll my daughter into daycare , I expect that to be a priority. Whoever answered the phone after having me on hold for 20 mins , tells me "I can't gaurantee it'll be done today or tomorrow". & I only called here thinking that office HAD to fill out the form bc my daughter had her last check up there, but good thing I called the office on Durango. they had that form filled out & emailed back to me within an hr. ALSOOOOOOOO, for my daughters last check up there , they had us waiting in the lobby for over an hour, saw the doctor for about 20 mins, & we left after closing, when her appointment was @5:30. Ridiculous here, the front desk ladies have NO professionalism. They act as if they're entitled when they're really ghetto. read more

Horrible service. Every time I have gone with an appt, I am left in the lobby waiting for 2 hours. Everyone else gets called in but me. I thought it was a one-time thing, but it's happened 3 times. Terrible over-the-phone customer service. They act as if they don't want to be there and for it to be a place of business that caters to children, you would expect some form of warmth, but that was not what we received. If this was a one time thing, I could easily just dismiss it as someone having a bad day, as we all do from time to time, but this is now the third time I've received lackluster assistance. Update today 4/22/24 the restructuring of the office clearly is not to the advantage of the client. I've been going to the Charleston and lamb office since my kid was born. They were warm and welcoming and super friendly. The two young ladies upfront are customer repellants now. Condescending and rude. You have a big WALK INS WELCOME sign outside and when you go in they surprise with "I know it says that outside but we don't honor that as of this month, no accomadations." I offered to wait in case someone doesn't show up and the little girl with glasses says "everyone is going to show up" because she has a crystal ball I guess. I asked to speak to a manager and both little girls up front said that they don't have a manager. I think that if you Don't want patients to come back just tell them. It's a lot nicer than to interact with your front desk with no manager. I read in the comments that James B has restructured this office. Great. I'll let everyone know how your restructured has initiated me to look for a new pediatrician and how it's not worth the time or effort to try to reason with front desk when you have a sick child and they just couldn't care any less. read more

Sitting in the lobby a half hour past the time of the appointment is annoying. Watching walk-ins that arrived after you and have no appointment get called before you is INFURIATING. Learn how to treat people. This is absurd. I guess we just got spoiled by the Tropicana location actually caring about people. read more

This office is the best so far I go to the Charleston location. I was told about this office my insurance agent and I have no regrets of changing pediatrician. Staff is friendly they really seem to care about the kids and we even got told about resources for one of our children that the previous peds never told us. Also have flexible hours and days that can work with our busy schedule. Definitely as long as our experience keeps being positive I will keep taking my kids there. If anyone looking for a great pediatrician definitely this is the right place. read more

If I could give them a negative*I would . Not only is it disrespectful to always misspell my babies name but when I can hear the doctor going on and on about her day, making us just sit and wait for her to get done telling her story and then come check on the baby was absolutely crazy. Sometimes they make us wait 30 to 45 minutes on the doctor when you can literally hear them talking outside the door not only that when it was time for us to leave my wife went to the Front to schedule another appointment while I was in the bank getting the baby dressed from his appointment a Lady then came to the back where I was changing my baby just to tell me that I needed to go to the front to set an appointment is if I didn't know to do that already I feel like she did that to me because I was an African-American male if you can, please go to the Henderson location if there's anyone in corporate, they can see this. Could you please respond because this is outrageous going to check on the baby is something serious and to top it all off they never answer the phone if you don't believe me, give them a call right now. Dr. Ian at the Durango location is a wonderful doctor who TRULY cares for you children and who is genuine. He makes the kids feel comfortable and has a great spirit about him. It seems they just remodeled their waiting room which is very nice as well! Staff and nurses are great too! read more

This is the cutest pediatric office! I just had a baby and wanted to find somewhere close to home, so this was perfect for us! All the staff is super friendly and the provider my daughter sees is most informative. I've worked in pediatrics in the past for 9 years so I know how it's supposed to be & this definitely made me feel like super comfortable. read more

This new location is a godsend! As my toddler is obviously the center of my life, his pediatrician is of the upmost importance to me. We found Dr. Bakerink and have not looked back. He really cares about our son and will always go the extra mile. Not to mention, his bedside manner is perfect. Our little man does not mind going to the doctor. I'm a Vegas native and I know how hard it is to find a really amazing doctor for yourself, let alone for my kids. I was going to Southwest Medical Associates and knew my kids were not getting the REAL care they needed or deserved. I am so happy I found this place (my oldest goes to the ortho next door, Dr. Griffiths, that's how I was able to find out about this place) Katelyn Kofford PA is AMAZING! I opted to see a PA over a doctor, as working in the medical field, I know PAs are just as qualified as a doctor, without the doctor title and have more time to take with the patients/parents. The Charleston and Lamb location is convenient for my family and is very nice and well kept. I called in on a Wednesday and was able to get my youngest an appointment the next day. the wait wasn't long, as I had faxed in all new patient paperwork and previous records. thank you Wee Care and Katelyn Kofford PA for actually caring. read more

In search for a better pediatric office, our kids' dentist recommended we try out WeeCare Pediatrics. We were able to get an appointment within a week for this Charleston location, whereas the Durango location would take 2 months' wait. Checked-in at 9am on a weekday morning with 3 kids for a well-check here at the Charleston location, and checked out 1.5 hours later. Place is very clean with a Well-Room and a separate Sick-Room to keep those sickies apart. Equiped with TV playing kids movies, bookshelf stocked with books for the kids and magazines for the moms+dads, boxes of Legos, and a few in-wall wooden beaded games. Plenty of sitting space along the walls and extra seating on the ottoman-esque in the center of waiting area. +1 for not squeezing everyone in the lobby ( I really appreciate that). After filling out the new-patient health questionnaire (5-7 pages per kid), we were taken to the back where we did weight + height, plus the other vitals. Then our checkup started. Medical professionals are very thorough here in their checkup, and super informative when talking about how to better handle, or care for my kid. We were shown charts of how our child compared to other kids their age. And I got a few referrals for specialists for my daughter. Upon finishing up and scheduled our next checkup, we were offered something from the treats basket. It was loaded with our choice of either Clementine, applesauce, raisins box, or fruit leather. I appreciated this good alternative to the regular lollipop after a doctor's visit. My only recommendation is to start using tablets for the initial paperwork. Other clinics are moving towards the paper-less entry and I think that with most parents having 2 or more kids, we'd definitely appreciate not having to fill out packets and packets of papers each time we visit. All in all, we had a great experience and I can't wait to see what the Durango location has in store for us at the next checkup! read more

I finally found a Pediatrician for my two kiddies, 5 and 7. We lived in Vegas going on 5 years and my experience has not been good. But after finding Wee Care Pediatrics on Yelp , I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. Setting an appointment was easy and quick. I was able to set back to back appointments for 2 kids. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and was given a new patient packet to fill out. The waiting room was very clean and kid friendly with books, toys and a tv playing children movies. The well check up went excellent. The gentlemen nurse was so patience with my two energetic kids. I was so very grateful for that because they can be a handful. Unfortunately I forgot his name. I make sure to get it next time. The examination rooms have a different cartoon theme for each one. Which was cool. The doctor took her time to explain everything to me. Giving me great advice for my daughter. After checking out, the kiddies got to choose from healthy snacks. I'm a first time mom, freaked out about everything (as some first mom do). My daughter (now 6 months) been going to WeeCare (on Charleston) since the second day she was born. From the beginning Dr. Kofford was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We first went to see her because my daughter had jaundice (the hospital staff made it seem so bad), and the hospital wouldn't let us leave until we had an appointment with a pediatrician. I called WeeCare and was able to make a next day appointment. We seen Dr. Kofford and she calmed my nerves, i remember feeling so relieved when I left. From that day on I knew that my daughter was in good hands. Every time we go in for check ups she always keeps us informed about my daughters development, she answers any questions we may have very thoroughly, she doesn't make me feel judged or stupid for asking the questions I ask, she's very gentle when handling my daughter, and keeps her comfortable by talking to her during her check ups. The staff there is just as great as she is, they always keep us informed on what they're doing with our daughter like ("I'm going to be giving her this vaccine, do you want a hand out on what this vaccine is?" or "I'm not going to be taking her temperature now" etc.). They're overall the best at what they do. If you want the best health care for your child I'd recommend you go here! read more
