Jan 11th 2025 I finally went to Urgent after feeling ill since around Dec 28th 2024. Thinking it was a very bad cold but on my 3rd NightQuil and the News about new virus outbreak I went in. Staff at the desk Emma and Ruth were amazing, caring and professional. Did my check and waited. Not that much later I saw the nurse Matthew giving him the details. Dr. Elizabeth Foxen come in soon after then I got chest X-rays. Dr. ordered Covid and flu test which were all negative. 10mins for result. Also for pneumonia and ordered chest X-rays. Everything looked good. Dr. Foxen was professional, informative and kind. The x-ray tech was also very helpful for there was a moment I was feeling dizzy. He gave me some water and sat me down to relax. It ended up being a respiratory virus that had almost gone away. So rest, keep hydrated and take over the counter medicine Delsym. The entire staff were very pleasant and even the staff that weren't even taken care of me. They were very kind and friendly. Thank you everyone for your service and kindness.

Totally unbelievable. Threw all their money into sears on Franklin Ave and forgot they have an almost 600 bed hospital up the block that is in need of resources. Do better for the community. While the doors were open and the signs read that they close at 9 PM, we were flatly told "we aren't taking any more patients for the night." There weren't any other patients waiting. This has to be one of the most insensitive statements that an URGENT medical care center can make to a patient in need ... right up there with "it's not my job". I urge the management to train your employees to have more empathy. People are not coming to you for kicks ... they usually are in medical need. To turn away kids in need of medical attention because your staff wants to clock out at exactly 8:30 PM ... it can't be good for business.
