Event food

Really lovely for comfortable lobby, friendly staff and nice food. Was there for an event. The staff put out takeout boxes at the end for us to take leftovers home. My ONLY thing is that the bathrooms have weird toilet designs that catch far too much debris. But I loved that a gentleman at the front desk greeted us as if we were hotel guests. And A+ for washcloths in the bathrooms to minimize waste.

What a lovely hotel and stay experience. Classy, traditional, and sophisticated ambience. We received excellent service from bellman and front desk staff. The bar/lounge, and award-winning restaurant onsite (Bacchus) is wonderful for drinks, small bites, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have nightly live piano which you can hear upon entering the hotel lobby in the evenings. We stayed in the executive suite with two double beds. The room was immaculate and cozy. Our room had a balcony, which was nice. The room includes a fridge with enough space for your own items in addition to some items for purchase. It also include a coffee maker and tea. LOVED the location!! Honestly, it was only 5 to 13 minute walk to all of the restaurants I wanted to visit. It is also only 22 minute walk to the Harbor Sea Planes as well.

This review is only for the restaurant and bar. The happy hour was excellent - great drinks and finger food. Very cushy seating. In the summer, they open the windows which brings in the outdoor sidewalk scene.

The service from the doorman to front desk to Bachus lounge servers - all exceptional. The lobby is warm and inviting with classic dark wood decor and a fireplace to warm yourself. We were on the 14th floor with a lovely deck that had two chairs for enjoying morning coffee and fresh air. The room is beautifully appointed and feels like a nicely decorated home with coffee service and a comfortable bed, good quality bedding and soft bath towels. The bathtub is wonderfully deep and comfortable for a good soak. The shower is just ok due to water pressure being a little less than ideal with a challenge to get warm rather than hot or cool water. Unreserved thumbs up recommendation. We enjoyed late evening tea and snack foods in Bachus and enjoyed the hotel location with great shopping including designer boutiques within a block or two in many directions. We look forward to returning!

I'm not staying anywhere else in Vancouver now after staying here. That's how much I enjoyed my stay. The lobby is my my idea of pure elegance. Ditto for the lounge and restaurant. Had a phenomenal meal there. Staff couldn't be any nicer and our suite was one of the nicest and most comfortable I've come across. I believe it's dog friendly too which just makes me like it even more.

The Fairmont Pacific Rim delivered the kind of stay that makes you reconsider what "world class"…read moreactually means. From the moment we pulled up to the valet through every interaction with room service and housekeeping, the team made us feel like royalty -- attentive without ever being intrusive, polished without feeling rehearsed. The room itself was a highlight. Soaking in the tub with the ocean and the North Shore mountains framed in front of us is an image I'll be holding onto for a long time. It's the kind of view the city is famous for, delivered from the comfort of your own suite.

Had an absolutely memorable stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim during our vacation in Vancouver. The…read morelobby and lobby lounge/bar area is stunning. Everything here feels modern, clean, and luxurious. Our room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with its dual sinks, separate bathtub and rain shower, and separate area for toilet. The Le Labo products were a nice touch, and everything from the towels, robes, slippers, and bedding felt luxe and high end. These beds and pillows were some of the best hotel beds/pillows I've ever slept on. We all slept so well! We also ordered room service for breakfast and everything was so good, with reasonable room service prices for the amount you get. Didn't use the gym, but it's recently renovated and beautiful. They provide iced water infused with electrolytes and there are even Pilates machines! There's also a heated rooftop outdoor pool that we didn't have time to take advantage of too. Not only is this hotel amazing, but it's in a prime location to everything - especially if you're a first time visitor to Vancouver. It's super easy to hop on the shuttle to the suspension bridge, or take a sea boat or hop on the subway to/from the airport. It's also walking distance to Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park and the Seawall. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the city!

I've stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Canada Place on prior trips to Vancouver. I've always…read morewanted to stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia (on W Georgia St) or the L'Hermitage Hotel (on Richards St) as they're located closer to the places I frequented when in town so this time, I checked on availability and pricing. A one-bedroom signature suite at L'Hermitage was significantly less than a regular room at the Pan Pacific and the Rosewood so I booked 3 nights ($625CAD/night). I got off the Silver Moon at 9:45am, handed my luggage off to a representative from Luggage Forward, and walked from the cruise terminal up to the hotel. My room wasn't ready, so I dropped off my carry-on and backpack and went shopping and to have lunch. I was still on my way to CF Pacific Centre when the front desk called, informing me my room was ready. I told them I'd return after lunch. Wow, I loved my room (707)! As you entered through a short hallway, you found yourself looking at a full kitchen to your right, bathroom to your left and then the bedroom, past a closet housing a stack washer/dryer. The living room was bright and airy because there were walls of glass. Past the kitchen was a den with a desk and sofa. Off the living room was a small lanai overlooking the pool. The kitchen featured a gas range, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It was like a timeshare unit, not a hotel room, as there was tableware, glassware, etc. The only nitpick was the bathroom; it didn't quite measure up to the rest of the unit. It was small, with a full-sized glass-enclosed tub, a Toto (but without the washlet) toilet, and a small vanity and shelf unit opposite the vanity. It was totally functional, but I wished the tub had a shower wand, not just the rain head. If I could, I'd want this room moved to Hawaii to become my residence. The front desk staff were personable and friendly. The exercise facilities were fine. The L'Orangerie restaurant is located on the 5th floor ... more on that in a separate review. All told, I found the L'Hermitage to be perfect for me and will now be my hotel of choice when in Vancouver.

My favorite amenities--clothing steamer and hot water kettle--were promptly delivered. What's better than tea and wrinkle-free clothes? The room was quiet and afforded me uninterrupted sleep. The lighting at the desk caused my colleagues to compliment my visage on video conference calls. The location was an easy walk to everywhere I needed to go in Vancouver. L'Orangerie, the dining room and lounge on the fifth floor, was a lovely place to take tea and lunch. My dining companion and I had the place nearly to ourselves. On my next visit to Vancouver, I hope I'll be lucky enough to stay at L'Hermitage again.
