I've just come away from visiting this shop and it was a better experience than I could have dreamt for! The other dresses in the shop were beautiful but she'd put a picture of one online and so I came from London to try it on - even keeping it in the shop for me when the supplier had asked for it back so I could try it on! Sue was refreshingly honest with what could or couldn't be done as I requested a few alterations, and didn't make me feel like I was ever asking for too much. One of my bridesmaids is also getting hitched in a few years and when she saw a dress she loved Sue looked at it and plucked out another for her to try on. She was spot on, it was gorgeous on and a much better fit than the original dress my bridesmaid had pointed out! Sue's years of experience are really invaluable to any bride getting ready for her day & she really goes above and beyond to make sure you look your absoloute best and feel amazing for your big day. Susan Graley is a fraud and a thief. I had to take her to court to get the refund she owed me after she left my wife in tears a week before our wedding with an awful imitation of the display dress we'd paid her £1000 to have made to fit my wife. After waiting months for the dress it arrived 2 weeks late (a week before our wedding), was made from a different, substandard materiel to the display dress, the beading was badly broken and lopsided, it was a fill size too big. Really there were too many problems to list them all. Susan told us it wasn't her problem and that we should take it up with her supplier despite me pointing out that, our contract was with her, not her supplier. My wife convinced her to give us the display dress instead, which had been in her shop and tried on by countless people for at least the 6 months we'd been looking at it and likely a lot longer. She refused to refund us the difference in price between the new dress and a second hand one. I took her to the County Courts under case #3QZ72491 and a judge sided with me and told her she had to refund us the difference. Still she refused. I eventually had to hire high court enforcement officers to get my money back from her. She's an absolute nightmare, she's rude, she's very aggressive and insulting, and she takes advantage of vulnerable woman to turn a profit. I had walked past this beautiful shop so many times on my way to and from the city centre and when I was finally engaged this is the first shop I thought of to look in as all of the dresses were so lovely. I booked an appointment and turned up on the day and I was ever so excited. I was met by a young girl who was really nice and helpful. She really wanted to help me. I picked out some dresses that I really liked and I joked by saying I am quite short. We both laughed. Susan then came out after dealing with her last appointment and she was very abrupt.. Took the dresses that I wanted to try on and put them back on the rails saying I was too short to try any of these dresses on. She then continued and said I wouldnt be able to get a made to measure dress because I was so short. This really upset me and she asked if I had thought about shorter dresses. I humoured her but I wanted a pretty full length dress. After leaving this place being rushed out the door because of her next qppointment (i had only been there 10 minutes) I was so sad and didnt feel like visiting the rest of my appointments that day. I have also spoken to a few of my colleagues at work and have been told that Sue had also called them fat.. This was a truly disheartening experience to what should be so very exciting. read more

This person took our money for some dresses and said they would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. After we chased them for 3 weeks we were told they would arrive 4 months later in may (6 weeks before the wedding), May came and we had to chase them again and was told they would arrive 3 days before the wedding. We obviously asked for a refund at this point so we could buy different dresses. She got really snotty and blocked our numbers and rejected letters we sent, this has been going on for over a year and she still has our money and the dresses. read more
