The service was really personal, and I really felt like the staff cared about me and my big day. Previously I had been in Berketex Brides and just felt like I was shooed in and shooed out, with the sales assistant just saying the same thing about every dress (which was basically: 'Yeah it looks great - buy it." Which wasn't particularly helpful). Here I felt like I could really take my time, received useful advice and feedback and did feel like a million dollars. The dress I chose I actually tried on as a bit of a laugh, as it was a very dramatic-looking thing with bits of black lace on it - not generally what you'd think of on a wedding dress! The style of the dress wasn't really what I'd have naturally gone for, but when I put it on, it looked amazing! So I ended up with that one - it's always good to have someone suggest different things to you, as you can't always predict what's going to look good. Their service was really efficient, the dress and alterations were all ready in time and everything fitted perfectly. It was also a really good price - much more reasonable than a lot of the places we went to. I was really really pleased with the dress, the service, the price, the whole experience.

Unfortunately coming from a uber luxury wedding dress shop, this shop appeared to be dated and shabby and did not ooze luxury at all and what's more we were offered a cup of tea or coffee not a glass of champagne - shock horror! You've already lost a point in my book! The wedding dresses were not to my taste, and the accessories looked cheap and the lady really didn't find out the kind of dress that I would like. My appointment wasn't exclusive so other customers would wonder into the shop, with my lady getting distracted and me being left to my own devices. All in all not a great experience at all. However if you are a strict budget this may be the place for you.

The saris here are pretty decent and my family have been here on several occasions. My mother in particular enjoys coming here and has brought a couple of dresses for upcoming weddings. Not that my dad has been pleased about it since he has ended up paying for them. There are also Mens sherwanis on sale so there is something for Men and they are not waiting for their partners to come out of the store. No offence women but you do spend way to long in shops. I know exactly how Men feel when it comes to waiting for women to finish in shops. I would come back here for sure and prices are not bad although there are one or two items that are expensive. A decent shop to go to in my view if you are looking for something to wear at a wedding.

There are many staff members who tend to shadow you as you browse, which I personally find quite frustrating but I suppose they're attempting to give a personal shopping experience. The designs are quite exuberant and extreme for my taste, but if that is what you're into then it's worth a visit. They're far from reasonably priced with outfits at around £400, although this is about average in the local area. They stock a limited range of jewellery also. There is a pay and display car park next to the boutique, which has a corner location so it's hard to miss.

We' been instructed to source bridesmaids dresses that were white and lacey and nowhere on the high street was coming up trumps. The shop isn't huge, and caters mostly to brides rather than bridesmaids - but does have a fair few accessories to ogle over, and the dresses are beautiful. The staff were really helpful, suggesting a couple of other places I might consider trying - and even suggesting alternatives that my friend might consider us wearing, whilst still sticking to our colour scheme. Although we didn't end up ordering anything with them (we ended up choosing prom dresses from M&S!) they were a big help in enabling us to figure out what on earth we were going to wear! Tears...tears...tears…read more.. My sister got her wedding dress from here 10 years ago and though she's not an emotional person, as soon as she put the dress on she burst into floods of tears. This set us all off; me, my mom and the ladies working there. We're coming here for my wedding dress I thought. 10 years later the same group of us arrived at Red Rose. It's a Tuesday morning and we're on the lookout for my perfect dress. The sales assistant came straight over and greeted us, asking all the relevant questions; When's the big day? Where's it being held? What kind of dress had I got in mind? Unfortunately it all went down hill from here. I had a specific style and budget in mind and the look she gave me was utterly ridiculous. The excitement of looking for a dress just drained away from me. Because I didn't want a big puffy thing or an expensive couture dress she simply wasn't interested. She left us to have a look through some dresses and we made a speedy exit. She didn't blink an eyelid. I would never have expected this kind of behaviour from an assistant in a wedding dress store. It shouldn't matter what I want but whether you can help me find it or not. To be judged in such a rude way and made to feel that my choices weren't to her liking was disgusting. Just remember...first impressions DON'T always workout!
