Local, independent clothing stores have a hard enough time challenging the multinational chain stores as it is, so I really felt for Store Twenty One every time I drove past it, as if it didn't have it hard enough, it's located right next door to a New Look. Store Twenty One are a women's clothing shop, so I've never personally bought anything from there, but I've been in with my girlfriend on several occasions. Their prices more than compete with their giant neighbour, with near constant sales meaning you can get dresses and blouses from just £3. The store is roughly the same size as the New Look, and they have managed to fit in an equally impressive range of stock. Often I'm very wary of independent clothing stores, as they can be extremely haphazard and, frankly, a bit grotty, but Store Twenty One is extremely professional in appearance, once again more than matching with the New Look next door. read more
