10/10 would recommend. My consultant Beth was amazing. I reached out via phone and was sent an email, in the email i was i formed to send pics of styles of dresses i liked, types of fabrics i was interested in, etc. when i went in to try on dresses, they had so many options for me to try. I fell in love with the very first dress and had to go back a second time to try it on again. They saw the excitement in my face (through my mask, because of COVID) and decided to name the dress after me!! I heard about this place from a friend who went to the St. Charles location, but the city one is closer for me so I decided to make an appointment. The reviews online were subpar, so I remained hopeful, but with low expectations. I got a little lost trying to get there, but I finally arrive and the parking lot only had one car. The place seemed massive and this lovely woman named Beth greeted me when I got to the door. She had a mask on the whole time and there was no one else there - my kind of wedding dress shopping experience! Beth had pulled some dresses based on my survey and she really did a great job! She was kind and gave me some feedback after I said how I liked the dress. I haven't made any decisions, but one dress Beth pulled for me is a serious contender. read more

I was beyond happy with my experience at The Wedding Gallery! We initially went to check it out just because it was close to home, but from the moment we walked in everything felt perfect. Paula walked us through a line of dresses at the beginning asking what I liked and disliked about each, and what I was looking for generally in a dress. She pulled some options, and as I tried those on she asked lots of questions and really listened as I explained what I liked and disliked. Once I found the one, there were a few things I wanted to change before I ordered, and she as well as the owner worked with me to make my dream dress a reality. I went to the Chippewa location for my first time trying on dresses. I never thought I was the type to get married, so I was excited! our bridal consultant kept saying over and over that they didn't have much in my size ~ I'm a 14 and knew the dress size would be a bigger number. I've never write reviews but felt the need to put this on here. I am still in disbelief at how wonderful my first bridal dress try-on experience went at wedding gallery on Chippewa with PAULA. I cannot say enough about her expertise, her patience, Her ideas on how to make a dress work for someone who is almost impossible to find a well fitting dress! She is a lovely woman and just an EXPERT!!!!!!!!! Also, the Wedding Gallery just has so many dresses it blows my mind. I am doing a last-minute wedding but even then she was able to show me a lot of dresses that were just gorgeous and amazing for the price. We had an appointment with the Wedding gallery yesterday @ the Chippewa location. It was our first stop for one of my best friend's wedding, she has waited a long time for this moment in her life. We had an awful first experience, the lady made our bride feel awful about her self image and the amount she was able to spend The woman who helped us was rude and disrespectful. She made us feel as we were an inconvenience!! She did not offer us many options, she would not show us anything that the bride was too large for. I have been married for 21 years and when I had my experience bridal shops ladies doted on me and offered all dress sizes we just used clips. It was an TERRIBLE experience. Do not bother going here ladies. Being a bride is one of the most amazing moments in your life, this place is not worth feeling awful!!!!! read more

I'm getting married in October and decided to wear my grandmothers wedding dress. I wanted a dress that I could change into for our reception that was still elegant but more simple, and that if I spilled something or tripped, my grandmothers dress wouldn't be the dress I did that in. My mom made an appointment at Wedding Gallery for us to go try on dresses just to see what was out there. I was a little apprehensive because I did not want to spend a lot of money on a dress, but I agreed and my goodness I am SO GLAD I did. Denise greeted us promptly at the door and was through the moon to start looking at dresses with us. Her energy was fantastic and I knew immediately this was the place that I would find that dress. We tried on several different styles, she understood exactly what I was looking for, suggested certain materials that would be best for that time of year, and the dress that is my dream dress was the one that she picked out and told me to try on. It is everything I could've dreamed it'd be, and I couldn't have found it without her. I can not thank Denise or Wedding Gallery enough for helping me find the most perfect dress at a price that was phenomenal. I highly recommend this gallery to every future bride. Paula is the best! I had gone to a David's Bridal earlier that day and found a dress that I thought was nice, but I could not pull the trigger before seeing what else was out there. I called the Wedding Gallery and they were able to see me that same day, even though I did have an appointment with them a few days later. I went wedding dress shopping on my own and was feeling overwhelmed and a bit sad that my family (who live in California) could not be a part of this experience. However, Paula was soooo patient with me and was working hard to find something that I loved while ensuring I could keep to my tight budget. She went above and beyond and truly wanted me to find a dress that I was happy with and not settling for. She eventually found a beautiful dress that fit me well and only needed hemming, which will save me money in the long run (score!) The quality of the dress that I bought here is hands down much better than the other dress I was contemplating. read more

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Paula was our consultant FYI. My best friend and I go in and there is no music. I tell Paula what I. Looking for and she fixated on a color of a dress I thought was pretty and that's it. She pulls two dress that I automatically didn't like. She pulls two more dresses that I try on and still didn't like. Keep in mind I went to one store prior and liked a dress but was unsure on it. Paula states "well sounds like you love the dress at the other store I don't think there is nothing else I can pull for you" I then proceeded to tell her she can pull other colors or styles and she doesn't. The place was dark inside I couldn't even see the dress very well. I felt like I didn't matter or that she cared in even trying to find a dress for me. We couldn't even walk around the store. I get it's covid and we didn't need to touch anything but not walk around. Very bad appointment I left feeling very bad. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would but I can't so one will have to do. I have never been more uncomfortable in a bridal boutique while trying on wedding gowns. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy being fat shamed as a plus size individual. The consultant continuously made comments about how there was so much space between the zippers and how I needed to only look at larger dresses. Their dress sizes were different than ones I've previously tried on so I didn't realize the gown was too small. She made side remarks pertaining to me not hanging the dresses back up for her, which the consultants at other boutiques always did so I didn't realize I needed to do that. She told my sister she was stepping on my toes, which she wasn't. It wasn't the consultants place at all to make her remarks. She didn't allow my mother or my sister to help pick out gowns because they "weren't the bride." The only person stepping out of bounds was her. If I had to choose between walking down the aisle in a potato sack or one of their gowns, I'd happily choose the potato sack. I will NEVER purchase a gown from this place and will definitely tell everyone I know to not step foot in this store. I was surprised someone could be THAT pretentious when the gowns they were selling were mediocre at best. If you don't like plus size people, I urge you to STOP MAKING PLUS SIZE GOWNS!! I can promise there are WAY better places to get dresses... this isn't the place. I would also recommend getting new staff or having current employees take an etiquette class because they definitely need it. read more
