It is amazing how wrong some of the reviews are on this site...wrong and incorrect. We drove from Chattanooga to this shop and my daughter found the perfect dress on the rack. Lisa's attention to detail was amazing and she volunteered to be the day of coordinator for the wedding--which she did perfectly. There is something terribly wrong with this business, and it starts with the owner (Lisa) and includes any employees participating in the deceit and lack of communication with the brides-to-be. The practices I witnessed have the characteristics of a scam. As the mother of the bride, I witnessed from long distance the broken promises, false information given, and lack of communication from Lisa and her employees on continual delayed dress delivery dates for a dress that was paid for in full and assured it would arrive months earlier. There was a lack of accountability or empathy from anyone at the store for my daughter stressing over getting the wedding dress she had been dreaming of and planning on as she was continually told week after week "it will be here next week," or getting texts from the owner that "The dress is in Memphis and I will personally go pick it up," multiple times after excuses as to why she was unable to get to Memphis per her earlier texts. The end result is still no dress, leaving my daughter desperate and having to scramble for an alternative with only days left and many other tasks to focus on. This was after my daughter finally realized that there is no dress in Memphis and she could no longer continue to believe Lisa, and she was on her own to figure something out. I have seen in the reviews that my daughter is not the only one that has experienced this. The brides in these situations are having to initiate communication when trying to get updates, voicemails to the store are not returned, and in my daughter's case, she was ghosted by Lisa (the owner) after Lisa texted her multiple times that she was picking up the dress in Memphis but never did. Never once did Lisa or anyone at the store reach out to help my daughter with suggestions for an alternative dress, when it was clear that the dress she ordered and paid for in full would not arrive in time. As much as I'd love to be able to write a good review, I can't. I've had two different experiences with this wedding boutique, one was my own and one was my mothers. My experience was not what i expected. I went to try on wedding dresses here in July of 2021, and I was not happy with my experience at all. I was unhappy with the styles my stylist picked out for me, as they were not really what I asked for, they didn't help me pick styles I may like and she was very rude to me and very unhelpful. My moms experience is more nightmarish. My mom tried on dresses for her wedding in October of 2021, she said yes to the dress and we were told it would be here in April. My mom called to check on the status of her dress in late April as her wedding is in June and we hadn't heard anything. They told her it'd be first week of May. She called again, we were told middle May at the latest. They called my mom this week and told her, her dress was in and she was ecstatic to go get her dream dress.... My mother just called me and I could tell she was not very happy and she had been crying. In October when she ordered the dress, I guess they failed to call her and tell her they couldn't order the specific dress she wanted. So we went months waiting on a dress she couldn't even have. She went to pick up her dress, tried it on and instantly knew it wasn't her dress. They are giving my mom a sample dress that doesn't fit, wouldn't refund ANY money and were very unhelpful. My mom was flustered and paid $400+ for alterations on a dress that isn't even hers. They said they couldn't do anything but give her the sample dress, which is very dirty and used and too small. They have to take the back out of the dress in order for it to even fit my mom. I have worked in customer service for a while now and I am just going to say this was very unprofessional and there is no excuse as to why we waited so long for a dress my mom didn't even order, with no call, no refund, nothing. I'm so upset for her. I cannot believe they treated my mom this way and I hope they never treat anymore brides like this. Very dissatisfied with this boutique. read more

Terrible experience with this place. I went with my best friend who is getting married and the rest of the bridal party so we could try on bridesmaids dresses. When we get there, which was earlier than our scheduled appt time, they don't bring us back until 30 mins later. The girl who finally came and assisted with our dresses didn't seem to know what she was doing either. We still haven't heard back on the dresses coming in even though the bride has contacted them numerous times and been told different information every single time. STILL haven't received a call on our dresses ever coming in and it's been way past the time they were supposed to be in. Such a unprofessional way to run a business. I would not recommend this place. My fiancé's dress was 6 weeks late and now we have 2 weeks to get her dress refitted for our wedding. When we called for updates through this process we were told we would get call backs with updates, because ONLY the owner could check in on the status. We never got call backs, and the owner never knew what was going on. It got delayed 4 times. If you plan on buying your dress for your special day, go somewhere else with better service and a owner that knows what is going on with their clients' dresses. Additionally, she even told us that we're not the only client to have this complaint and they had another bride, who's dress was not in and their wedding was coming up close to the same date. I had such a wonderful experience at Wedding Belles! I was very nervous and anxious to try on dresses for my October wedding and was worried I wouldn't find a dress. They were very kind to me and eased my anxiety. They asked enough questions for me to give them a good idea of what I wanted in a dress. Well first off I'm told they can give me my measurements, but can't tell me what it is. the owner won't allow their customers to have their own dang measurements, and your not allowed to try on sizes more then your budget. She not only got back to me quickly to book an appointment, she welcomed me and my large entourage with open arms. This was my first an my only wedding, an when I say Mrs. Lisa took all the guess work the stress off of my shoulders an God knows I love my wife but she could have been "bridezilla!" scheduled an appointment talked to them to confirm and give my card number when I realized it was for a later date. I asked if they had anything available this weekend and she told me Sunday at 1:00. so I took that appointment and confirmed it with them. when we get there ON TIME for the appointment we weren't welcomed when we walked in even though there were 2 girls that let us in. then when I'm finally helped they say they don't have me down for the 1:00 appointment. so whomever i talked to because I'm pretty sure it was one of the young girls that were standing behind the counter silent when I was explaining it to the lady. they said they had a lasy that they called but she has not yet confirmed that she would be there for her appointment, which what is the point of requiring an appointment confirmation if you're still gonna hold it for them. it was 7 minutes pat her appointment and even though they messed up my appointment and she never confirmed hers they told me to wait 15 more minutes to see if she would walk in for her appointment that she was already late to and did not confirm. I guess I was supposed to just sit outside and wonder if every person walking in was the girl or not. I left very hurt and discouraged. Unfortunately, my dress arriving over a MONTH LATE wasn't even the worst part. I went to Wedding Belles mid-February for my bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding that is just a few days from now. The dresses were all beautiful and the staff members that we encountered that day were all friendly and helpful. I chose my dress and they assured me that it would be available for pickup early/mid-April--more than enough time for the wedding at the end of May. April rolled around...then mid-April...still no dress. They kept saying that it was an issue with the shipping department. My friend (the bride) also ordered her dress through them a few days prior to my order and hers wasn't even in either. Call after call, excuse after excuse, delay after delay...it was "it should be here tomorrow" but wasn't. Now, I understand that every business has hang-ups, rough patches, and bad days, but when those setbacks happen, they should respect their customers enough to tell them the truth and stop passing the blame and making excuses. Even worse than that was being made to feel like a nuisance or bother for being concerned about the order. A customer shouldn't ever be made to feel like they're an inconvenience just for inquiring about their already-paid-for order that is over a month late--and that's how I felt (whether intentionally or not). My dress just came in today (May 21st)--and I didn't even get a call saying as much. I had to find out from my friend who went to pick hers up. The wedding is in just a few days. If the dress doesn't fit--there's no time to get it altered now. I know that I'm 'just a bridesmaid' but for the bride... wedding planning is stressful enough without having to worry about your dress falling through. A bride shouldn't ever have to make plans for a "back up dress" because she didn't know if the one she bought would even be ready for pickup in time even though she had the company's word that it would arrive with plenty of time to spare. I'd rate them even less than one star if it were an option. Not because of the quality of the dresses--they're all beautiful. Not because of the attitude of the nice ladies who helped me pick out my dress...they were very helpful. But because I feel that whomever was in charge in this situation acted dishonestly--instead of being straightforward about the timeline and potential setbacks, they passed the blame and made up excuses. This is not a business that I would want to revisit or recommend...no matter how pretty their dresses may be. Maybe this will be a lesson for them regarding the treatment of their customers--I hope it will be, but I won't ever find out because I'd rather spend money with a business that values honesty, integrity, and their customers instead of one that just cares about their bottom line. read more

This place is horrible. Their selection of dresses is sub par. I went in on a whim and told the girl what I was looking for and exactly what I was not looking for. I am a very average size girl not a skinny Minnie or a plus size beauty just a normal girl and they had very few samples available in my size. One of the only ones available the girl insisted that I try on. It was everything I described to her that I DID NOT want. The store is so cramped you can't walk around . Please just avoid this place if you want good customer service and stylists that actually listen to your vision. I ended up purchasing from Glitz in Nashville and couldn't be more pleased! You're not allowed to pay on the dress, but I paid for the dress that day (which was a little more expensive than the others girls paid back home in Louisiana). Wedding Belles was our second stop of the day on the hunt for "the one". My daughter had narrowed down to one dress at another location, but needed to keep looking. We booked a reservation for later in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were hopefully optimistic, but had in our mind that we might have to continue the reservations for next weekend, too. We were wrong! Once we stepped inside Wedding Belles, it truly was a whole new world and we knew we were right where we needed to be. As soon as we walked in, the staff were attentive and exceptional. The one on one personal experience was beyond anything I have ever encountered - and my daughter has shopped many times for formal dresses in the past at various locations during high school and college and has never experienced this level of customer service like at Wedding Belles. Not only did my daughter get professional level service from Nicole, but the owner Lisa, as well as, Hannah and Tracey were all part of this decision day. The ladies were never pushy, and were listening to what my daughter wanted. All four ladies were bringing my daughter dresses - all in attempt to find that perfect one! We were all giddy and excited with each dress she tried on. Then she tried on THE ONE. Wedding Belles gave a great discount on the dress, and we will be booking a future groomsman and bridesmaid VIP dress fitting day, too. Let me just say, I do not typically post reviews on anything but I feel it is really important to post reviews regarding an awful experience with Wedding Belles in Clarksville, TN. I apologize for the lengthiness of this review but I feel it is imperative to give as much detail as necessary. I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding this past weekend (10-10-2020) and we got our dresses and men's attire through Wedding Belles. Our bridesmaid's dresses were ordered back in April 2020 and if I remember correctly, came in in August of 2020. The owner, Lisa was who worked with us the day we chose the brides wedding dresses and our bridesmaids dresses. For our bridesmaid's dresses, we all went with the same designer and same dress color but chose different style long dresses. The process of choosing dresses was easy enough but it was after they came in that everything went HORRIBLY wrong. I picked up my dress and sure enough, they had ordered the WRONG dress. I am a plus size woman and because of this, I like for dresses to hide my flaws (fat if you will) and for them to be flattering to my size. The dress that was ordered for me had almost my entire back exposed (big problem area) and had a belt right along the middle of my stomach making my look way larger that I already am. When I discussed this with Wedding Belles, they said that when they went to order my dress, they realized the dress I originally picked was the wrong designer and so they found a dress that was supposed to look identical to the dress I originally chose and they "tried to call me" (which is a lie- no one attempted to call me). They claim that after they could not reach me that they called the bride and she gave them the all clear to order the dress that was supposed to be identical (which was not identical at all). The owner came up with the solution for them to do alterations to the top of the dress to try to make it match the dress I originally chose and that would be on them but I would have to pay with the other alterations that would be completed anyway (length and to take it in). I had 2 alteration appointments and at the first one, the dress had barely improved; the back was still exposed too much and the belt around the front had not been lifted as it was supposed to. I go to my second alteration appointment and while the dress had improved, it was clear that it would never be a dress that flattered me. I sucked it up and paid for the alterations to the length and to have it taken in. I mostly did this and kept my mouth shut because I did not want there to be any issues with the brides dress or the groomsmen attire. So this was my own experience. I get that screw ups happen BUT I was not the only one in the wedding party that had issues. Another bridesmaid, who is also plus size (or close to anyway) was ordered the wrong dress as well. She lives in Alaska and had to have her dress shipped to her. Rather than ordering her correct dress, one of the other bridesmaid's dresses got ordered twice and she got a dress that she had not chosen and was TOO SMALL! The solution for this was to order a dress in her size that was at a warehouse and to have it altered to fit her. So here is the thing, I am ANGRY that this was not an option offered to me as well as I would have definitely chosen to have a different dress. She also did not have to pay for any alterations while I still did. In addition to 2 out of the 5 of use bridesmaids getting the wrong dress, the bridal shop did not call 3 of the bridesmaids to let them know their dresses were in and claimed to have had the wrong numbers and even blamed their change in computer system for that issue. They also blamed the brides any time there was an issue saying the bride Okayed it or was supposed to let people know. Because there were a great deal of issues for one wedding party, it is very clear that it is just poorly run business. I am making this review to let people know that could happen if they give their business to Wedding Belles. It costs a lot of money to get wedding attire and you may want to think twice before giving your business to such a place that is as poorly managed at this. read more

Right when I walked into Wedding Belles I was welcomed with warm smiles. I had no clue the kind of wedding dress I was looking for and Lisa, Katie, and Tracey went above and beyond for me. They know exactly what is going to look great on you and I picked out my dress by the third one. The one I tried on was a champagne color and I wanted bright white and it was way too big on me, so of course I had to order it. I ordered it that day and it came in EXACTLY when they told me it would be in. I even got the grooms party pants with Wedding Belles. All the guys were different sizes-tall, short, skinny, muscular.
