Don't go there! I went for almost two years before seeing one of their Cardiologists! Their nurse,…read moreJoshi, had me on 5-6 blood pressure meds. Last November she informed me that I was stage 2-3 chronic kidney failure! I attempted to read the bloodwork results. Nothing posted on their Portal. The entire time that I had been a patient! I talked with my PCP. He ordered an ultrasound and bloodwork. Surprise! No diagnosis of CKD! She had me on Lasix and a BP med for neuropathy in my legs. Double dose of Lasix. Guess what! I don't have blood to a restriction in my legs. The symptoms I experience are from intermittent stenosis! She also informed me that I had diabetes. Then retracted her statement, at the end of the phonecall. I informed my Cardiologist, Dr. Joseph that I was ceasing the med Hydralazine. Her response? "Okay. That's fine." During my appointment last month the Cardiologist informed me I should have been talking Lisinopril only in the evening. First time I'd been given that instruction. My BP falls quite low during the day eg. 95/55. Yesterday, I informed the nurses station I was going to cease taking Amlodipin. My PCP agreed. This morning my Cardiologist tells me to CEASE the Lisinopril! But to continue with the Amlodipin every morning, but four hours after taking the Carvedilol. I have lost all confidence in The Heart Institute of Venice.
