Visited this funeral home for my mother-in-law's funeral just recently in October of 2024…read more Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of lindenwold steps away from the Saint Anne's Catholic school and church. Between the funeral director I think his name was Thomas Zettler and his amazing staff they did an excellent job with my mother-in-law; she almost looked alive in the casket that the family selected. The visitation went smoothly and the Catholics priest we selected was father Thorp. This Catholic priest was very friendly outgoing spontaneous and humorous, his presentation during the service was remarkable and close to home with what he had to say about my mother-in-law, Miss Weber. - Mr zettler was very professional, kind and courteous in our time of need. The interior of the funeral home seem very elegant and clean inside and out. His presentation with excellent and detail. The transportation of my mother-in-law to the Rose Hill cemetery went quite smoothly and the hearse was shiny as if they had just washed and waxed it; the funeral home grounds were very clean clear of debris and very well groomed especially the grass. When you're inside the funeral home it really didn't seem like your home because the Victoria furnishings seems so homely. I definitely will recommend his professional services and presentation has one of the best in the business. I have been to other funeral homes for past visitations and funerals but I will have to say that this funeral home is well taken care of; so my recommendations is if you're looking for a professional caring place with reasonable prices in a professional atmosphere. Look no further than Zettler's funeral home in lindenwold Ohio - this place would rank four stars in my book....

Candis listened to my needs and worked within my budget even though I'm not quite ready to purchase she took the time gathering the information and pricing I asked for. Both the ladies made me feel very comfortable and I have no problem saying I will definitely see them again! Thank you both for your professionalism and for making me feel welcome!

Their kindness & service to the family was just excellent. The site itself is a wonder- it doesn't look/smell/feel like a funeral home at all: it's a large home filled with beautiful antique furniture & art. There was plenty of room for family & friends, they allowed us to bring in & set up our own food for the repass and provided quick turnaround on room set-up. They treated everyone with kindness and dignity- what wonderful people serving families during sad times. Their service (and the house!) was very impressive.

2018: This was not my first choice. I was at times offended by John Patterson, the funeral…read moredirector, telling me what I could and could not do; or what was normally done at the church where the funeral was held. I would think that in 2017, these ancient rituals would have gone the way of the 8-track, but in the end, I got my way. The reason why I'm giving them such a low rating is because we purchased my mom's headstone in March and when I went to check it out in late July, there was nothing there! Finally, after a few calls, I headed up to the funeral home and was told that our check had been misplaced for three months, but NO ONE told us. I live out of town and I wanted to see my mom's marker in place when I got here. Shabby service in that regard. UPDATE 2019: Never in my life have I had to deal with such an incompetent business. Last summer, John Patterson, the director, told me the hold up in my mom's marker was that the marker company misplaced the check. You assured me that you had found the check and the marker would be placed within a month. Now you're telling my brother that the check is no longer valid because no one ever sent it in. We are no longer interested in your excuses. To say that I'm frustrated, would be an EXTREME understatement. I am blasting this situation on Yelp, local churches and social media with this matter because at no point did you notify us that the check was lost--and who does that--and, at no time did you notify us that there was no confirmation on the marker. This makes me question the competency of you and your staff. My mother was buried on Nov. 22, 2017. It is now Sept. 13, 2019 and she has no marker. You promised me on Monday, Sept. 9, that you would get back to me on Tuesday, Sept. 10. I have yet to hear from you. I'm going to give you 24 hours to settle this check situation before I hit up my media contacts. I didn't want to use your services at all, after you tried to overcharge me for my dad's obituary. Having worked at the Cincinnati Enquirer, I knew how much they cost. Your quote quadrupled their rate. That is when I contacted my friend, who wrote a lovely feature obit for dad. I didn't trust you then, and I don't trust you now. Again, this is no way to run a business. You can be very assured that I will never ever recommend your house of horrors.
