If you're going to cut hair, make sure it looks like your artwork, just like a tattoo artist. But aside from that, I wouldn't trust this place to cut my hair... in four minutes. My hair would be uneven and go out of style. goes to the rest off the barbers that work there lol. I'm going to the hood instead.

Initially I was really excited to go get my haircut here as many of my friends recommended it. I went a total of 3 times, 2 to this location and 1 to the other Rochester location. The first 2 times my haircut was good, nothing AMAZING, but pretty decent for what you pay for. The third time, however, it was a completely different story. Although the initial haircut was very similar to what I had gotten before, towards the end the barber mentioned that he was going to trim the front. I thought this meant a simple touch up of sideburns, the hair next to my forehead, etc. What he actually ended up doing was cut straight into my hairline in an atrocious attempt to "even my hairline". I naturally have a widows peak and cutting into my hairline just doesn't make any sense and is only going to make it look horrendous as the hair slowly starts to grow back. Now I'm stuck with quite honestly a shitty haircut for the next year or two as my hair starts growing back and looking natural again, all thanks to the horrible haircut I received here. Will never go back and do not recommend at all!

I came back for it and someone drew "this" on it. This hat is very special to me. But it just goes to show what kind of amateurs and nonprofessionals they really are. Funny, the guy had previously asked me to give him a "good" review on yelp. Well here it is, just as good as your drawing.

It was as if no instructions were given and no photo shared. The cut was so off and so much shorter than desired that remediation by a more experienced stylist could not yield the requested result. Lots and lots of caps!!

Attention to every little detail, he blended where I part my hair perfectly and took the time needed to make sure the finished job was up to his standards and mine. As far as I can tell, all the barbers at Salvatores are excellent craftsmen and the cost for a haircut is very reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. My bangs had been cut at a 45 degree angle and were way shorter than I had asked for and when I complained he simply told me "but that's what you asked for." I don't remember asking you to cut one side extremely short then cut across at an angle leaving the other side longer, I said that I wanted to keep my hair long in the front and showed u exactly how much hair I wanted cut. Apart from the bangs the side of my head being cut was blending into the top of my head so the shape of my head looked like an egg. Took 2 months to look how I wanted it to the day it got cut, never going again.
