This is my first review of any kind and let me tell you, Joe and his staff are fantastic. I was referred by an old colleague 5-6 years ago and he did work to clean me up. Booked an appointment, same day, online requesting a clean up and beard trim. I was able to book with Alexandra (selected at random, based off of availability) and was not disappointed. I showed up for my appointment and she was ready to go. Very professional, friendly, and skilled- it was obvious she was confident in her abilities. Lined up with a straight razor getting those crisp, clean lines. Would recommend checking this place out- from what I'd seen from the rest of the barbers, they're likely top notch too. I'm sorry but I'm never the person to leave a bad review and I understand people make mistake. But I went to get a cut at a "higher end" barber because I been going to hair zoo and places like that. It took almost 2 hrs to finish and it just was not what I asked for and showed him. I was okay with it at first because I could care less but this hair cut was simply not it the amount of friend and family that have been making fun of me for it is crazy. read more

Just got a haircut today for the first time after reading such great reviews. I booked my appointment, and got the message to come on over. The style of the barbershop was very nice inside. All of the barbers/stylists were very nice and professional. Alex did my haircut today and she hooked me up great! Just showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted and it turned out great. Arrived for the first time ever. Made an appointment earlier in the day for 5:00. Semi- greeting when we walked in Never asked to sign in, if we have an appointment, or who we were there for. At 5:25 and 2 other clients taken, assuming we were going to see the middle of the three barbers, we waited. When she was done and the one next to her, the looked at me and the guy who just walked in next to me and asked if we had appointments. They didn't have anything written down and seemed confused. They took my son only because I spoke up more than the other guy. After all of that, the quality is very poor. Will never go back. Stay away. There are plenty of places to go in Webster. read more

Apparently the Man Cave business theme is not my cup of tea. Took my son for the first time for the convenience and cost (14 bucks plus tip for a cut) it was good enough to return a second time. The second time however the owner was in and after an hour of listening him curse his way though his misogynistic thought on women, racial thoughts on anyone who didn't look like him, and generally not being concerned who he was offending or creating a hostile environment for, we won't be back. read more

Got my haircut here about a few months ago and it was the best haircut I had ever gotten. Then again I usually only go to chains like Super cuts or I did them myself! I got my haircut done by Victor who did a fantastic job. The cut look and felt like he took pride in his job. I'm back again today and the wait was a little longer than expected but you can tell they take their time there. We chatted and caught up (I feel like I belong!) and he cut my hair close to the same as before. It looks amazing! I'm very happy with the results and I'm definitely going back next season. The environment is very chill and like another user said, is sort of man cave like. Which, to me is fine. They have a TV going that will either have the news or sports which is fine. Free beer too while you wait! Apparently you don't need a liquor license for it? I'm not an expert on that so I'm not disputing it. This'll definitely be a regular for me even if I move away from Webster! I recommend if you'd like a great haircut! read more

One of the best places in the WORLD, yes...WORLD, to get your hair cut. The barbers are surgeons, yes, they are that skilled at what they are doing. I have been butchered many times before, but not here. These days it's very difficult to find a good barber, one who remembers your hair, and you more importantly. Joe and his staff do an excellent job at making sure everything is organized, with times and the coming and goings. Very inexpensive for such a job well done. read more

. I can't say that I don't like the place because I do. Owner is friendly and there is always sports on. Will not return as this is the second time I made an appointment that was blown off, only to wait for 2-3 people who just happen to show up and say they also had an appointment? I guess what I do not understand is the lack of service. I pay 20.00 cash with tip for a cut that takes 12-15 minutes. If you can replicate this just 3 times an hour, you make the same money I do with a masters degree in multicore programming from RIT. While I recognize there are expenses that go with this career, it is still a very wage and should require excellent customer service. read more

I don't ever write reviews. In fact I was so annoyed by today I went out and got this app just to warn others what they are getting into. While they are good at cutting hair. They are terrible with scheduling. Today I called ahead and made an appointment for 1:00. As I write this review 53 minutes later I am still waiting to be sat. Not worth your time!!! Do not go unless you are a fan of watching WWE on their TVs and have a whole day free to sit around. Update: around the hour mark the Owner told me I could be seated with the barber on the far end of the shop. As I was about to sit down that barber told me he had to honor one of his costumers. Who had a 1:30 appointment. I left and found my self in another barbers chair down the road in less then 10 minutes. Heads up my friends, they don't value your time. read more

Joe's is the best barber shop in Webster. I have been coming here for almost 2 years and have seen most of the barbers and they are all great! I recommend booking an appointment though, they do walk-ins but sometimes it gets really busy. read more

My son and I walked into Joe's at 11:45 on a Sunday upon which time we were told to take a seat. We were not given any acknowledgement after this time as to how long the wait would be. There were 6 people waiting for haircuts at that time including us and there were 4 barbers working. We waited until 1:30 at which time yet another person was cycled in front of us which meant we were looking at 2:00 at the earliest to be taken. When we went to get up to leave, one of the barbers was surprised and asked why we were leaving at which time I responded " If I you had told me it was going to take over 2 hours to get seated for a haircut, I obviously would not have waited". She just shrugged her shoulders and muttered a dismissive "sorry". I later contacted the owner, Joe Cocozza, by IM who apologized in one response and then insulted me in the next response and explained that his barbershop is the best anywhere near Rochester and then wished to compare how much money he makes with me. I would recommend going somewhere where you are valued as a patron which definitely is not here. read more

Went in last minute. I had an undercut and desperately needed it trimmed and cleaned up- with a nice girly design. Barber mentioned that the guy who does designs was in the back and he would go get him, Joe came out, introduced himself and let me know he normally doesn't work on Tuesdays and asked if i could come back the next day. I mentioned that this was a last minute decision for a cut, and i was leaving the next day to go on vacation. Joe accommodated me- when he really did not have to. He went out of his way, which was much appreciated. He was quick, polite and did a really great job. Needless to say, once this grows out a little bit, I will be returning to see Joe again. Joe is good at what he does, and takes his time to make sure it is done not only right, but that you are 10000% satisfied with your haircut! read more

Went here this past Saturday to get my son's haircut. Almost a 2 hour wait which brought to almost 5pm - closing time. The owner Joe, said to one of the "girls" to take him (my son) so she says out loud "why do I have to do it"? Which is extremely rude after waiting for that long period of time and in front of us and other customers. Very rude, very unprofessional. Unfortunately, also my son must have dropped $20 out of his pocket that he was to pay for the haircut. I ended up having to use my credit card but We know the money must have fell in the establishment, we were the only ones in there at that point, not one of the employees said anything nor the owner who happened to be in the Area where we were sitting after my son got up to get in her chair that they saw the money. But was out in the open counting their money for the day.. out of nowhere the girl asked him for $12 so he gave her $15 .. I'm just not impressed with this place. Gossiping, talking about other customers not tipping, one "girl" looked like a hot mess that just rolled out of bed with barely time to secure her turquoise $10 pop-in hair extensions. The "girls" complemented me on my nails, then the hot mess one said she does nails and showed me a picture no way in hell ! Would I want to come back here. Maybe this type of establishment is ok for young guys but as a mother bringing in her son for a haircut, just not for me. read more
