It wd be 2-1/2 R/T but couldn't bear the thought of not hearing conversations! Kim greeted me warmly and really listened to my complaints and needs. By her expression, she was thinking about solutions. She asked to see them and we went into room where she hooked them to a wire that gave her information on a computer screen. She doesn't yell, doesn't scream as another customer claimed. She's the opposite. She's very sweet and kind. I said they kept working their way out of my ears. She concluded I needed new batteries, that the part going into my ear canal was too large and switched that part out, felt the plastic wires that rest outside ear were too long. Within a few minutes, she'd repaired or replaced items. I reinserted them and it was the BEST they'd ever been! She also explained my Remote and how best to use it. Rather than begrudging the long trip, I was delighted with Kim's skill and that I had made an excellent decision to take the trip to Prescott Valley. I really like the Zounds Hearing Aides. Mine are 3 years old and are now like new thanks to her. I highly recommend both the product, this location and the Hearing Specialist, Kim.

I bought a set from Costco about ten years ago and a set from Bose last year. The ones from Bose were over the counter and they amplified all sounds which helped in some ways and hurt in others. Very quickly the negative outweighed the positive and I didn't wear them. The Costco ones might have been good if the person who fitted them for me took half the time, half the effort and half as much attention as Todd did. These new hearing aids I just got are great but they are great because Todd took the time and effort to make them fit for me with my hearing loss and my ear canals. So far this new set has been perfect in every setting from watching TV AND being able to simultaneously hear and understand what my wife is saying to hearing little birds chirp at sunrise. I play in an amateur orchestra and I can better hear the instruments around me and hear the conductor. I am now part of conversation going out to dinner. Great American Hearing Aid Company is a family business and I feel like I am one of the family. If you think you have a hearing issue you owe it to yourself to go see Todd. You will not find a more caring or technically competent person to get fitted for hearing aids. For me, the entire experience was a good one and the outcome a great one. I met with Mr Todd Fasse, who turned out to be an extraordinary audiologist with highly professional skills. Todd walked me through a series of tests, then we ordered the appropriate hearing aids for my situation. Although they weren't cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for in this case. Todd, who is an absolute pleasure to work with, took me through a series of thorough instruction and measurements to fine tune these aids for me. My whole world has changed dramatically, thanks to Todd. He is a true professional, with very thorough knowledge and wonderful personality to deal with. I have had follow up visits that allowed him to tweak the aids for improvement. In this world today, it was such a pleasure to be treated so professionally. I was seen 20 min before my appointment and her assistant Jennifer was comprehensive and professional and thoughtful setting me up well to visit with Price. Price was the consummate professional healthcare provider in an old-school sort of way. Calm, collected, compassionate, engaged, engageable, professional, considerate. She is a deep and patient listener and willing to share her own personal perspectives (with modesty) as she fine tunes her focus on me and my needs. (I deeply appreciate the easy-going, good-natured give and take.) She took her time to develop her understanding of my condition through conversation and physical exam to rule out stroke and other possibilities. Her easy-going, relationship-building approach was so reminiscent of how doctors used to behave--how doctors used to interact. I was, frankly, blown away by her humanity as I haven't seen that high a level of quality care for a long while. She sensed instantly that I am a collaborative sort of patient who shares in the health care examination process by providing broad and specific information and even propose hypotheses. As if right on cue, she took all those data and fielded them deftly, providing insights and perspectives and leading to a diagnosis that felt on target. Rarely do I find a doctor who is so openly willing to share in the healthcare process with their patients. Dr. Price is every bit that rare doctor who is exclusively there for her patients' well-being. As I departed, I asked if she was accepting new patients, and essentially she told me she was full. I am already set up to start with another doctor in the coming months (also very well-regarded), but will try to squeeze my way into be becoming Dr. Price's newest patient as she is essentially everything one could hope for in a PCP.
