Below I have summarized why our company no longer uses the Web & IT Group to host our website and for technical support. Our business relationship started in March of 2015 and ended in January of 2022. It is my opinion that any one that is thinking about using the Web & IT Group should know the following facts: At the end of May 2021 my website was the target of a Cyber Attack called "Card Stuffing". The attacker was able to gain access through a "Test Website" that was made by the Web & IT Group. The Web & IT Group did not secure the test website and left it accessible to the public. The "Card Stuffing" attacker ran 144,000 random 16 digit credit card numbers through the test website over a 2 - 3 day period. Each time a random 16 digit credit card number was attempted a fee was charged by our credit card processing company. The fees totaled over $24,000.00. I became aware after the "Card Stuffing" attack that when the Web & IT Groupstarted hosting our website our company no longer owned the intellectual property that was displayed on our website. I came to this conclusion because under no circumstance would the Web & IT Group give us the username and password to the server that our website was hosted on. Because the Web & IT Groupwas the only one with access to the web hosting computer they were the only one that could do maintenance and upgrades to our website and it would be impossible to move our website to another server. It took our company 4 months to work out the terms with Katherine Bruhl Zraik, President of the Web & IT Group, so we could move our website to another web hosting server. I tried to meet with Katherine Bruhl Zraik in person so I could pay the final bill in exchange for the username and password, but her excuse was, "No, Dan. Your behavior is getting stranger with each email. I don't feel safe seeing you in person.", with no facts or events to back up this wild accusation.
