Not really. But we had to see if there was anything that we needed,of course. As long as we are in the mode of fixing up the kitchen. We could not believe how clean and organized this particular Habitat for Humanity Restore was. Much better than the Ann Arbor store, and we told the man who was working there that... And he smiled a big grin. I think anybody in the East Lansing area appreciates a little friendly competitive comparison with A2. As much as I love my city, there is a particular up-north, pine tree & country charm to the greater Lansing area. Everything in the store was organized, well-stocked, clean and usable. There was a lot of construction materials and doors and a really big outside light section that was so well organized, it looked like Menards. We definitely have to drive by here again and see if there's anything else that we need. Of course, like all resale shops, the stock here changes all the time. But this one is definitely a do not miss!

The young fellow (I feel bad that I did not get his name) told me to bring it over. When I pulled up to the storefront, he came out with a two-wheel dolly and we loaded it on and he rolled it into the shop. He is a very personable guy and as I was leaving, a lady came in and asked if she could drop off some books. He immediately offered to carry the books in from her vehicle and she was ecstatic. That's the type of person that all businesses need and he should be promoted to some sort of training position to instill his spirit into other staffers.

As Louise W. said, it doesn't take long to browse this market. They have a much smaller off shoot of this market directly across from Sparrow on a street off Michigan Ave. Wednesdays: 2:30-7:00pm

In the past if they felt they couldn't make exactly the way it was before, they would work with you on getting the same results in another way. The business has turned into a mill of first response"we can"t do that", and then throw a price at you so you feel it is not reasonable to even attempt. Would not recommend taking your jewelry here for any reason.
