Once the governor allowed for hair salons to reopen after the pandemic, I called the salon to make a much-needed appointment to have my roots re-dyed and a haircut for the following week. It is unsalvageable and I could cry. I was yelled at to blow dry my own hair because an African hairdresser told me she could not braid my African hair. She was nasty from the start. I almost left. Also, she destroyed my frontal. There's a gigantic overlap that she tried to hide which couldn't be seen until I came home to style the hair myself. Oh yes, she didn't style the hair. Just sewed it on anyhow and had the gall flip the hair over and say "don't worry, it's flat". There was a track sticking up out of my head at the top. Not to mention all of the stopping to argue and curse on her phone. They had the nerve to demand $120. I paid because I have class and didn't have time. Never again. They don't even deserve one star.

This resulted in a painful chemical burn to my scalp and hairline, which is visible in the attached photos. This is a serious failure in professional conduct. Horrible Hair Services: The bleaching and color service itself was extremely poor quality. The result is patchy, unevenly lifted hair with noticeable yellow/orange tones, which is unacceptable for a professional salon. Price Gouging: I was charged an excessive price for a service that resulted in both a physical injury and a severely unsatisfactory hair color job. The combination of an immediate injury from negligence, extremely poor technical skill, and excessive pricing makes this one of the worst and most concerning salon experiences I have ever had. Potential customers should be aware of these serious issues.
