I've been shopping here for years and whenever anyone asks what I'm wearing 9 times out of 10 I say it's from the Wearhouse Consignment! I hate that this place gets bad reviews. Some people get very touchy when their clothing is rejected but that's just the name of the game. And yes it's more expensive than a thrift store, but not by much and you really do get what you pay for. I love Jill and Libby and they really do love their customers. They also have a great rewards program, so I rarely ever pay full price. Please never change!! read more

Wearhouse Consignment is my favorite place to shop. Jill and Libby have carefully curated an amazing selection of current, stylish and affordable clothing and accessories. I live 45 minutes away, but still am a monthly shopper and consigner. I love everything about the shop - the layout and organized racks make it easy to find what I'm looking for, the frequent sales allow me to buy more for less, and the owner/manager are absolutely delightful. Consigners beware. They are very deceptive! My suggestion to you is to make sure they show you exactly what they are taking. It was my first time consigning at the warehouse consignment shop and I took in mostly all new with tags very nice items. She went through my items in the back room. when she was done said she took a small pile "for me" and pointed to a pile in the back room. She offered me $40 saying that she was offering me 20% of what she expected the items to sell for. I said your website says you offer 30-40% for cash ( not 20%). She said well we used to sell a lot of Lularoe but not as much anymore so we only offer 20% for that stuff. That made me think all of the stuff she was taking was Lularoe. But when I got home and went through my remaining items I saw that she had taken my brand new with the $99.00 tag Ralph Lauren jeans, brand new with tags mens Carhartt pants ( which are also expensive), and those are just the two items I can think of right now. Not to mention all the Lularoe items were new with tags.... $60 Harper sweater, $48 Lindsay, and so on. She took a hell of a lot for the lousy $40 she gave me. And it was not all Lularoe items like she led me to believe. I guess it's my fault for not asking her to show me what she was taking, but I never thought they would be sneaky like that. Needless to say I will never be stepping foot back in that store again. Not as a consignor or a shopper. I got ripped off big time! read more

Lots of cute stuff, I am an XS -SM, had lots of stuff to choose from, first time here and a little bit hard to find, not actually a Wearhouse just a cute little boutique, I tried on a few pieces, ended up buying to 2 pieces which is good, at least I didn't walk out empty handed read more

After 8 years of shopping there, I will no longer go back. Jill Hartman, the owner, was so rude to me and my family that I can no longer support the small business. After bringing clothes in to be potentially consigned, she insulted my family and then shared we insulted her by bringing clothes in. I said it was best if we parted ways and when I got home, my family relayed what was said. Previously I have seen notes written on customer's clothing returns that read "Difficult customer" which was accidently handed to the customer! I support small business. I respect female entrepreneurs. I cannot support rude behavior. I'll happily go elsewhere. read more

As both a buyer and seller this place is hit or miss with me. Sometimes I'll go and find a nice piece or two, neatly organized racks, or take a basket of items to consign and almost everything will be accepted. Other times I'll go to shop and find filled to the rim racks, dated clothing, and piles around the register area to be gone thru. I've also taken nice higher end clothing - some still available for sale at the Bon Ton - to be told they can't accept it because it's dated. I think the experience depends on who is working. On the plus side I do like that they offer the option to buy straight out or consign and usually you don't need an appointment. On the downside I think they are a bit pricey, but this is coming from a preferred thrift store shopper so I am alittle biased. Worth a visit if you live or are in the area. read more

I absolutely love shopping here. My husband and I do most of our clothes shopping here. Great quality clothing for great prices. I really enjoy all their specials. Especially the $5.00 Fill-A-Bag (I'm great at packing it full). I gave it a 4-star because they do make it difficult to consign clothing. Great if you like Banana Republic/Coach. Overly pricey clothes for everyone else... Defeats the purpose of Thrift/Consignment Shopping. I love shopping thrift shops, and when I was told to try the Wearhouse, I was intrigued. I drove an hour to get there, and was very under whelmed. The store is based on brand names, and priced very well if you buy those brands. This gave the store a very stuffy feeling. For example, $80 for a $150 pair of shoes, but you can get those saving by shopping during sales and clearances with out being used. I honestly didn't like a lot of the styles they had (only finding 3 items to try on - and purchasing nothing). It's worth stopping by if you are in the area. But not worth going out of your way. read more

Great merchandise--it's packed with apparel in a huge variety of sizes and brands. I always walk out buying at least two or three things! Their prices are somewhat high for consignment shops, but all their brands are "higher mall brand" or designer quality. There are also often coupons in Clipper Magazines, so there are ways to save a few bucks here. Their consignment policies are fair, if not magnificent. They do a great cash right away for consigning, so you don't have to wait to see if your products sell. read more

Tried to sell my handbags and purses to this establishment. They didn't even give me a reason on why they did not want them. Extremely rude. Your hours are falsely advertised on your website. Never coming back. No wonder none writes reviews. read more

THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE! Today I was ridiculed by your owner. I have to say, I have been an avid customer for over a year now and thought I would try my first time consigning to your shop. I was met with an angry tone, embarrassment in front of other customers, and a disrespect that caught me off-guard. I have spoken with someone on the phone around 11 this morning who said it was fine to bring my clothing at 3pm today. When I arrived, the manager accuse me of basically making it up! I never expected, as a regular customer, to be treated in such a distasteful manner. My items were not even seen, so you did not give me a chance to show that I had designer handbags to consign as well as other high end brand clothing. Don't bother. Took 23 items and was told when I called ahead I could "walk in" with them. When I got to the store they said they were not accepting walk ins due to being backed up with clothes. Since I brought them a less than charming woman looked at them and rejected every piece....I had brought Banana Republic, LOFT, Forever 21, J Crew and LL Bean. It was all on hangers and clean and wrinkle free. She said it was not what they were looking for. REALLY! What are you looking for? NOT IMPRESSED...will not return. read more
