We received a text message from an Allyssa (727) 758-1028 which read, "The results are!!! While you were at the Phoenix Bridal Show registered for a Florida Vacation!! Pack your bags..you're coming to Florida!!..." As the old saying goes, "Nothing is for free", was the case with this! We called and had a conference call with this rep. She was, for all purposes friendly (Script reading sounding). Giving us all the Pro's, Great's, Wow's etc's! The deal wasn't a winning for a free trip really but a discount on a package. At the end, she let us know for the great deal she'd need to collect on that call $274.00 per person (Pay resort tax to property and you are responsible for your airfare). We were a little taken back about asking to pay that amount per person right then and there and were sincere when we asked if we could have time to talk and think about it, as we were not in a position / budget to spend even that kind of money. Her response, "Sure you can put me on hold, and I'll give you a few minutes...". Yeah no we can't do that today or make a decision like that today... She then basically changed her tune, went straight to business, and cut that phone call short to and end and wham call ended.. My Fiancee and I were honestly shocked and how her attitude just did a 180. To whoever runs this travel program (And its not a giveaway don't lie to people). Give them monthly payment options, not everyone has money to drop at the drop of a phone call..

I was grateful to get my money back --AFTER contacting my bank... canceling that bank card for my own protection...Then a few emails back-and-forth with trade show travel company. They assured me they were not a scam, but I had already read all the horrible reviews. In the end a VERY helpful agent from trade show travel company was able to stay on the line and call my bank as a third-party. The agent from trade-show travel was on the phone call with me along with a bank agent. Doing this allowed me to cancel the purchase fully and receive a refund. Sadly, my heart truly goes out to all who are employed with trade show travel company. I've read employee reviews and most of them state that they work in very poor, working conditions, drugs, everywhere, high-pressure, I mean, really it's pathetic. I hope and pray any of you reading this are able to get out and find more positive employment. I also want to add that the two agents I worked with-- both the salesman who sold me the vacation package and also the gentleman who helped me with my refund--Both of them were very kind to me, patient with my questions, and took time to explain. Even though I now know this company is deceptive -- I praise the 2 individuals for their skills. That's the only reason I'm giving two stars.

Deceitful, dishonest, manipulative are the words that come to heart when thinking about this…read morecompany. I worked for them for 10 months and the boss refused to pay me my last paycheck, where it would have potentially cost me my place to live. On top of that, Richard Cardillo (one of the owners; (888) 226 - 6011), teaches all of his employees deceptive practices to customers and potential customers. He teaches his employees to lie to customers, saying that they had "bonus vacations" that never existed, saying they expired, and asking the potential customer if they forgot about them or if something like life or covid got in the way. Most people that his company targets has a lot of vacation time, with potentially multiple companies, so they easily forget, are confused and then end up buying a vacation package from anywhere from $698 - $1,496, in order to "extend their vacation time," because their vacation time "expired," when they had 18 months to use them. They promise no blackout dates, with a guarantee on all major holidays with a 90-day advanced notice and a 30-day advance notice "guarantees" their dates throughout the rest of the year. This isn't always true, because it depends on the location and the availability itself. They use vague language to hook potential customers in, saying, "you either attended a presentation," or "stayed at one of our resorts," in order to "remind them" about how all of this came about. The salespeople here are called closers, the people who the called gets "transferred" to, where they assure the potential customers that they're a preferred traveler and that they have credits on file. Then when the potential customers says something like, "I need to talk with my spouse first" or "I can't afford it," the sales people / closers either (1) Add more vacations and/or (2) Lower the price, in order to get them to buy. They promise that it's always going to be a Condo, never a hotel. They're powered through https://monsterrg.com/vacation-destinations/ and if you look, there are definitely destinations, that are less then 4-stars, in a hotel!! All-in-all, I learned that after working for this company for 10 months, that this place is crooked, full of people that are desperate to do whatever it takes to take money from people.ConsumerAffairs

Every time I get called by one of their sales pitch people they want to sell me more, upgrade what I have and try to persuade me to purchase more of their product. I have explained that I have never received any hard copy printed material about what they offer in the way of resorts or cruises. At least once a week I get one or two phone calls from their sales people trying to convince me that I need something else. My daughter has told me that this is a big scam and I should report it to the better Business Bureau. Just today I had another call trying to convinced me that I should upgrade my purchases. I'm sure my purchases are more than $4,000. I am angry, frustrated, and fed up with all of the phone calls. I have asked not to be called but that doesn't seem to work.

We went on a 3 day adventure for our 1st Margaritaville and Sea Cruise!…read moreBoarding was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and they had us on board shortly after we arrived. At 1st glance that ship was very clean and fresh. Plenty of smiling faces around and everyone was happy to be there. As per the usual we had to get acquainted with the ship and find our muster station. (that was easy) Now on to some food and drink. It was raining but we made the best of it and most did. Room time! Spacious and well kept. Large port window and the standard bedding. (We did NOT have a fridge!) We asked our porter and he said "it was broken so they removed it" WHAT!? Ok :( The club was great every night and the white party even better! This is a small ship but still a fun ship. If its close to you, take a chance on it if you like smaller crowds this is the one for you! See you Soon!

First and LAST time on a Margaritaville cruise…read more The port parking was easy to find. We parked and checked our luggage with the porter. We entered the terminal to check in. Check in was easy but busy. We were assigned the time between 12pm-1pm to check in. Once on the ship, it was down hill. We went to our muster station, which was not labeled to find easily. Completed our muster. Then we went to get lunch from the buffet. The options were limited at the actual buffet area where you serve yourself. They had the buffet, cheeseburgers, tacos, pizza, and sandwiches. The food was mediocre at best this day and throughout the week. It was a struggle to find something to eat that was edible and tasted good. Even the jello was tasteless. Once our room was ready, we went to it. Luggage was not there upon arrival, but it arrived shortly after. It was a struggle with the AC in the room from the moment we checked in. We told our room steward immediately, who said once the ships sets sail, the air would work better. That never happened. It was consistently warm to hot in our room. Guest services was notified a few times via phone and in person. But it was not fixed. Not even sure someone came to our room. We waited several times but we never made contact with the person who came to "fix" it. We made the best of it but it was not comfortable at all. Most of the time we were hot and sweating at night and while in our room getting ready for the day or dinner. Mohamad was fantastic! He was our room steward. He took amazing care of us and our room. Our room was always clean and we always had fresh and clean towels! Entertainment was lacking for sure and limited. There was a lot of time where there was very little to nothing going on and to do. The excursions through the ship were limited as well. We picked to do the Margaritaville Resort in Nassau. We walked off the ship and through the port to transportation. This part was easy and well organized. The resort itself was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was nice and not crazy crowded. The beach was another story. Absolutely packed and barely room to walk down to the waters edge. Not sure if it's only for Margaritaville Resort guests and day passes or if it's open to the public too. Drink package felt pricey at $360 for 4 days, and this was on sale. We had two port days, one embarkation day, and one sea day. I would NOT ever cruise again with Margaritaville.

This was our first time on the Margaritaville at Sea. Wow, this is the oldest ship in their fleet,…read moreand argue be the oldest one in the cruise industry, it's still had a good cruise ship field to it. Yes, the ship was older and showed a little signs of Ware here and there... But even the newer ships do show that same wear after a few years. Overall the staff was amazing and always super friendly from the bartenders to the chefs to the stewards. The ship didn't feel crowded at all. The food was about average for the cruise industry, which to us is good, but typically not great. Very tasty and plenty of options to eat so no complaints there. We don't expect five star dining on the cruise ships unless we had a specialty restaurant and we didn't do that this time. The SHIP doesn't have as much to do on it as other ships do and is more laid-back, but it does have a very good nightclub, which was fun every single night. Overall, we enjoyed the cruise and where we likely would not go on this particular ship again just due to the distance from port for us is a 4 Hour Dr. We have Margaritaville right here at Port Tampa Tampa Bay, which is a half hour from home.

I want to start off by saying this is a great introductory cruise to go on if you have never been…read moreon one before, which was the case for my boyfriend and I. We just went on the Grand Classica from Tuesday-Thursday to Grand Bahama Island. We wanted to take a short cruise somewhere relaxing and that is what we got. We got a pretty good deal overall, which was great as well. I would give the entire experience 4/5 stars. We were set to leave on Tuesday and I received an email on Saturday stating that we were required to get tested for COVID-19 prior to boarding. This was never an issue, but the woman I spoke with previously told me that vaccinated guests were not required to be tested. This change came abruptly with little notice. The worst part was that guests were required to pay $25.00 to be tested, when COVID tests are free everywhere else. The way that they get you is that they give you the $25.00 back in the form of credit to use on the ship. This was definitely annoying, but we got through it. First of all, check-in was relatively smooth and simple. The front desk staff was friendly and polite and good customer service seems to be rare these days. After checking in, there was the option to purchase additional packages, such as alcohol or spa deals. Once we boarded the boat, we got to our cabin to settle in, which was the interior cabin. We had no issues with the actual cabin other than the bed was very uncomfortable. We were told that we reserved a queen bed for two but it was actually two twin beds pushed together, making it somewhat difficult to sleep comfortably. Other than that, it was clean, and the staff was quick to bring us any extras we needed. After we settled in, we went straight to lunch at the Ocean View Buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by our options and we ate a hefty lunch. A plus is that meals are included and only speciality dining is an extra charge. The ship has plenty of things to do aside from dining, such as a fitness center, a pool and jacuzzi, a spa, a casino, and more. We spent a lot of time exploring and catching great ocean views from the top deck. We had dinner at the Yellow Elder which was more of a fancy restaurant than the buffet. The food was decent and servers were wonderful. However, like my boyfriend said, be sure to bring your own hot sauce or preferred condiment because the food does lack sufficient flavor and seasoning. That night we actually hit a storm with 70 mph winds which made me a bit anxious, especially since we have never been on a cruise before. The captain reassured us by coming on the loud speaker to keep us updated about our sail. We decided to book an excursion for the next morning when we would arrive to the island. There were a few options, but we chose swimming with the pigs to try something different. I was super excited about this. The Grand Bahama Island was beautiful. Our bus driver who gave us a tour on the way there and back was so awesome. Swimming with the pigs was definitely an experience to remember and I do recommend it, especially if you are an animal lover like me. Arriving back on the ship, we went to dinner at the Yellow Elder again. Keep in mind that the dinner portions are extremely small. When we made it back to our room, I felt sick and I ended up throwing up. I am not sure if it was something I ate or maybe from the sun, because I did get a pretty good sunburn. Either way, I had a pretty rough night following that. One downside of the cruise was that I paid $25.00 for WiFi but it never actually worked. I made multiple calls to the front desk about it and they tried to tell me it was due to weather but I let them know that my boyfriend's worked fine for the most part. They said they'd call IT, but I never actually heard back. I am still waiting to see if they refunded me or not since I was never able to use it. Overall, this was a pretty good experience for our first cruise, with just a few hiccups. We learned a lot and we will know how to best be prepared for our next trip.
