I have called the office 3 times to get my parents documents emailed to us for review and the receptionist just flat out lies that she is going to send them and never does. It's been a month since my parents made and amendment. They gentleman that helped us told us that they would call within 2 weeks for the final and it's been a month and nothing. We went there because a friend of my parents recommended them to them if we would of known that they are not professional enough to go by what they said. The people that work here are very nice (Mila, Veronica and Gabriel) It might be that they are over worked or something because communication is lacking. I had to constantly call and update myself, even when important forms needed to be met by a deadline. I did send my review to customer service. It was nice to receive a follow up call by Gabriel. Gabriel, Veronica and Sofia were supposed to help with a divorce. They took all the money up front and then never sent back the documents they were supposed to in order to move forward. I chased them for 2 months following up and every time i would get "its on my desk I'm doing it today, and then never got back to me. Finally I asked for a refund which was approved after they all tried to convince me to continue working with them and of course, once again, never heard back. I emailed and called over and over for the last 2 months asking where my refund was and of course.. "well look into this" and never got back to me. Do yourself a favor, pay an extra 100 dollars and go somewhere else. They have nasty attitudes with ZERO customer service after they take ALL your money up front which isn't even legal. This is in response to Summer A's comment about my post. First, WTP did not offer to refund notary fees, the only option offered was to go to the Pasadena office. Second, my mother and I spent well over an hour filling out paper work to revise her trust. And I did provide the information they neglected to collect at our initial meeting within 2 days at your office. Third, my mother was NOT happy with your service and did not understand why this took so long. Summer nice try to put WTP in a good light, but you guys blew this one. I will say that after my review that Adam from WTP did reach out with an apology and gave us a $100 refund to go out and have a dinner, and a 50% discount on any future service. read more

I am very surprised to see so many good reviews. -My documents came back riddled with mistakes, which I caught and had them redo. -I was given wrong information about their services. -It took over 2 months for me to finally get my documents filed, and I was filing for an emergency conservatorship. -After my petition was filed and I received copies of the filed papers, I noticed that there were 2 mistakes that were not corrected. The 2 wrong pieces of information were things that I had already talked to them about. THESE PEOPLE ARE EITHER INCOMPETENT OR CARELESS, OR BOTH. He asked me about my experience and empathetically listened, he apologized on behalf of the entire staff. He did what he could to fix things. A few days after posting my poor service experience I received a call from the We The People associate who had processed my living trust document apologizing for my experience and also offering a discount off of any future services with their business. I told the associate that I appreciated the call and offer. A little over 3 months after my posting I was contacted by an official from the head office of We The People who wanted to speak with me to gain more insight into what drove me to post my negative Yelp review. He apologized and said that he was deeply sorry for the poor experience noting that there may have been factors such as Covid health restrictions and personal issues that may have contributed to the breakdown of their service. Having personally managed personnel in my professional life I told him that I understood that there are many things that a business faces daily and are a challenge, however, what my wife and I experienced should not have happened and would not have resulted in a negative review had the associate better communicated and provided expectations. I told the WTP official that my reason in posting the negative review was to alert potential customers what they might encounter and to also send a message to We The People management that they need to find ways to improve the customer experience. The official told me that he had spoken with the associate to corroborate what had transpired and coached him on how to improve his performance. He also said that an additional person would be added to the staff in the Granada Hills office to help with workflow and that they had also implemented a customer survey system where customers could provide feedback on their overall experience allowing management to better monitor the service that was provided and make necessary adjustments as needed. I told the official that I appreciated the follow-up and changes that were being installed and if effectively implemented should result in better customer experience. In concluding our discussion, the official again apologized for my experience and said that they had fallen short and should have managed better in providing a more satisfactory experience. He said that communication was lacking and that they have made changes to ensure that they would do a better job in the future. Totally unexpectedly he said that he would like to make up for the bad experience by providing me with a $150 refund and 50% off any future services that I may need with We The People. I thanked him and appreciated all that he was doing to improve the customer service experience as it would only benefit their business in the long run. read more

They wanted face masks not a problem, but could not offer one or even take the time to know what my problem or need was. I can understand caution with locked doors, but, it's what you do when you greet perspective new clients. I even said are you going to let me in? Hid behind the door. The best place to have your revocable trust completed. Jackie is fantastic and she is so helpful and patient. She is a true asset to their company, and she really knows her stuff. I used them four years ago, and when I had questions about my trust recently I called and spoke to Jackie again. If she doesn't know the answer, she can get you to someone on their legal team. I just want to urge anyone who is on the fence about obtaining a will or trust, you should definitely and without question use We The People. It was thousands of dollars cheaper than an attorney, and we have the peace of mind knowing our affairs are taken care of. Had i know it was gonna take me a year and a half for a divorce I would have saved my money and my sanity by going to the self help center in the Chatsworth Court House which was SOOOOO much more helpful than ANY STAFF HERE. They are all So rude. They have no eye contact when speaking to you. They don't ask the correct questions to get the file completed correctly. My paper work got rejected EVERY TIME when it was submitted by We The People. I finally bit the bullet and went to the self help and took care of everything effortlessly. Some time ago, I posted a negative review because I was not satisfied with the way the staff at this office handled my living trust. I eventually removed my review after speaking with a superior. I recently received an email from We the People, in essence asking me to contact them ASAP regarding my living trust. I was naturally worried, thinking something was wrong. I called THREE TIMES before I finally reached Jackie M., who informed me that they were offering a 50% off special. HUH??? That's why you needed to speak to me?? I don't understand why it took two days and three phone calls to get that information, but when I tried to speak to her about it, she just said she had 140 phone calls to make and became defensive. Next time, just send a mailer. It's frustrating to speak to this office and they are not helpful at all. They have a real customer service competency problem.
