Manny and his team are good at what they do and actually have character. Manny met me on site to help assess my problem. He took my vehicle in to his shop and repaired it to like-new detail. His team was cool and I even had lunch in the neighborhood at the Taqueria down the street. I left my car and didnt have to micro manage their work and spent my time working other priorities of my own. For that the fee he charged me was well earned. Altho Manny's fee was still less than the fee I paid to have the remote start system installed that needed to be removed. I am grateful to have been referred to Access Audio. I would recommend them to anyone in the future!

I was a little concerned before the job, as his prices vs Chicago area pricing are considerably lower. But the drive to Sherrilville Indiana was worth it. I noticed them while driving and decided to stop and get an estimate, one of three I was planning on obtaining. I have an older vehicle in great shape that has sentimental value to me as it's my beloved sister's last vehicle before she passed away several years ago. I noticed a rough spot by the lower back tail gate and a tiny rusty area near the back wheel fender. I'm proactive about everything and addressed the problem long before it turned into something major. The owner of Calumet Body Shop was very easy to talk to as I felt quite comfortable and good about him. Trust matters. The price was quite fair that I didn't bother to investigate other auto body places. The end result was a work of perfection, quality and customer satisfaction. The paint matched perfectly. Some of the best workmanship and satisfaction may be found at an independent establishment that takes pride in their work. I highly recommend Calumet Auto Body.

He told me that he is scaling back his operation to primarily exhaust and suspension work these days and is no longer open on Saturday. Whatever the case, I feel that's a positive for anyone requiring that type of work since Jeff will most likely be doing the job himself now. Another reviewer once complained that he took too long to perform services and charges too much. One of the main reasons I'm comfortable going to Hoekstra for my car repairs Is because he does take the time to speak in depth over the phone and in person about what's needed. Jeff gets the repairs right the first time and his prices are always reasonable. If you want a quick Jiffy Lube or cheap Walmart experience, this isn't the shop for you. I'll be sad when Jeff retires. Mechanics like him are hard to find, and when you do...you won't soon forget him!
