This is my 2nd time using We Like to Move It Movers. Our first was hectic because we had to move the day after we called, and they really helped us out in a pinch. This time was a load only situation since we're going out of state. I think their pricing was fair for the huge amount of work they accomplished in the amount of time they were here. After submitting a request for an upcoming move, I did quickly receive a call from the owner. I provided an inventory of furniture and guessed how many boxes I might have. I was sent two options, one a flat rate for the move based on my estimate, and the second was on a per hour basis. When I started packing, I realized I had far more boxes than I originally estimated, so I signed the contract for an hourly move. When the movers arrived, they walked through the apartment, and said I had far more items than the estimate stated. I agreed, and said I called the owner to advise, and he said that my contract was based on an hourly rate, not items moved. The movers then said the owner was a jerk and would charge me more based on how much space my boxes would take up in the truck, but if I "made it right with them, they wouldn't tell the owner." Loading the truck took two hours from a second floor unit with stairs. Luckily the truck was able to back up close to my door. My dad did assist with staging, moving boxes closer to the stairs. The movers did call and say they had hit some traffic on their way to my new apartment, which I understood, as I now live 3 miles from Disney, there will always be traffic. My new apartment has terrible cell service inside the unit. I missed the call that they had arrived by about 5 minutes and then met them outside. Despite sending a photo and directions to the owner as to where the closes entrance and elevator was to my unit, they parked at the other side of the building (so it did take me another minute or so to locate them). When I went outside the moving truck was leaking radiator fluid. As a result of the truck breaking down, they could not move the truck closer to my unit. The hydraulic lift also didn't work. It was 1 hour 15 minutes from when the truck arrived to when any items were moved into my unit. I attributed this to the lift being broken and the movers working on the truck. When my dad arrived later, he said the mechanic was working on the truck. My dad had to move my area rugs out of my old apartment because the movers left them behind and they needed to be placed under furniture. (The area rugs were included in the estimate). I color coded all my boxes based on room location, if it was heavy or fragile. The movers did not pay attention to this at all. Boxes were placed in the wrong rooms. Some boxes were left upside down, and no care was taken for the boxes marked fragile. After 4 hours of unloading, the movers gave me the bill. It did not account for the time the truck was being worked on and no items were moved into my unit. I asked about this. They said "oh, call the owner, tell him the truck was broken for two hours." So I called the owner and said the truck was broken down and I wanted two hours taken off my bill. Again, loading took two hours, unloading four. It should be quicker to unload considering items didn't need to be packed into the truck to prevent shifting, etc., just removed and unloaded. After asking the owner to adjust the bill, the owner told me I was lying because I should have contacted him if there was a problem with the move when the problem started. I told him I should not have to report to the owner that his truck broke down, especially when his mechanic was there working on the truck. During the call I was sitting outside on my balcony, because I don't get service inside the unit and WiFi wasn't set up. The movers then came outside and told me to just hang up on the owner. So I did. I was upset, the owner was accusing me of being a liar because his truck broke down and I didn't tell him. He said the door was much further away at the new apartment which added time. I told him it would have been closer if he had shared with the team where to park and if the truck hadn't broken down so it could have been parked closer. The movers then told me not to pay their boss. Said he was a bad business man. I walked outside with the two men who then asked me to just pay them directly and they'll tell their boss the move never happened. This was absolutely sketchy, so I then sent my Zelle payment to the owner of the company. In the morning I was looking over my credit card and saw that the owner had also charged the credit card I provided for the $100 deposit. The owner said he charged me when I refused to pay. And yet, I paid him before his truck and crew even left my parking lot. The $100 deposit could never be proved to me that it was applied in anyway to my total bill. The owner did take off one hour. This exchange was stressful and I absolutely could not recommend this moving company to anyone. It should take less time to unload than load. Movers shouldn't be undermining their employer to customers. Movers shouldn't be trying to get the customer to pay them directly for all or part of the service. It's a month later and I'm still upset about the whole transaction. Get a reputation moving company. Do not use We Like to Move It. read more

We called "We like to move it Movers" and Brandon quickly responded. We were shipping our stuff across the country and didn't have an exact date of arrival. Talking with him, he sounded very flexible. After I hung up, the text and calls were relentless. He kept telling me to just sign so we can reserve a spot and then we will lock in another time as needed. However, after signing, I told him we haven't heard from our shipping company yet. They require 7 days notice. On the 7th day, I told him due to the memorial weekend, it's impossible to arrive on schedule. He basically said there is a short notice cancellation fee of $200. On the phone he acts like "Hey it's no biggy we will work it out or credit towards the date we give." In writing, he is super strict and all corporate covering himself. So he was impatient and I told him I was uncomfortable signing, but signed anyway. He made us feel like if we dont reserve it, we lose it. Then upon trying to reschedule, he offered the next day and every day but Saturday. In other words, there are plenty of openings and he should have never pushed me to sign because they are not at all booked out. Since he said he would credit upon rescheduling and then said I was short notice cancelling and being charged, I told him, "Just forget it" and decided to hire a less pressure professional company. I have moved a lot and have never experienced the level of service I received from this company. From the 2 movers that were sent to move me to the unprofessional owner. They were late, slow, very slow, complained about the amount of furniture needed to be moved and broke a piece furniture. Nice doesn't get the job done. It was so bad and the cost was accumulating I asked them to LEAVE 6 hrs into the job!!!! I could go on and on but it's not worth it. Don't use this company find you a more professional company to use. A company that takes accountability and holds their employees accountable when mistakes are made, internationally or not....Believe the reviews you can find better. read more

Phew...to spare you time reading...DONT DO IT! Go with the larger, more expensive companies because you get what you paid for. I'll summarize my experience. 1. They arrived LATE. And then got there and started complaining about "how much stuff there was" and that they were tired from the previous day move. 2. Their packing was horrible. They literally throw my stuff and stacked it unprofessionally on top of each other. 3. They didn't even pack all of the items they were supposed to in the contract. 4. They asked me to purchase them pizza for lunch. 5. They took an hour break they want me to pay for. 6. They broke some my items. And then blamed me for them being too heavy. 7. They overcharged me for USED boxes (they are used Amazon boxes from the owner). 8. They sent untrained, unprofessional guys. The first lead guy (Manny) mostly stood around training another guy, "seeing what he could do". 9. I paid a portion cash, and then they charged my card the full amount, then they gave a partial refund. It's a complete mess. I could bore you with the details of my horrible experience. The list continues but you get the point. They're just a small business trying to get going, but screwing over customer isn't the way to do it. And train your employees. SMH. I take this one as my fault though. When you text the owner as your main form of communication (did have a formal docusign contract) I should have known it'd be a problem. Don't be like me! Manny and his team did a great job moving us across Orlando. They were punctual, professional, and worked non-stop to get everything in the truck and back out. I hired this company however I later her change my mind and I decided to not go on with their service. However, my original date was on Saturday. I requested a refund and they charge me $100 and then they went back to try to charge me another $100 without completing any services I will be contacting a lawyer . read more

Update: I was able to get in contact with the owner about the damage to my property during the move. I was able to arrange refurbishment of my damage furniture and thankfully both my couch and shoe cabinet were able to get refurbished. read more

We just moved from Windermere to NSB and had a great experience. The 4 man crew were very professional and took great care of our belongings. During the unloading process, they re assembled our beds and put the living room furniture together and in place. All the boxes were placed I. The appropriate rooms. They quoted for a two bedroom move Two men for 3 hours. They then sent Three men who took 5 hours including an hour lunch when they said they would be back in 30 minutes. This was a horrible experience!!!! We moved three times and had two and three men crews that took 3 hours or less and did not charge us for their lunch! Never use them again!!! We had a very positive experience using, We Like To Move It Movers! We just moved from Ocoee, FL to Plantation, FL and I found these guys in an Ocoee Facebook group. They had positive reviews in there and they were in Ocoee so I called them. I spoke with Brandon, I believe the owner and told him what we had and that we were moving 3 hours south. He gave us a very fair quote and 3 guys showed up, Manny, Q and Anthony. These guys were very friendly and worked really hard loading up the truck, driving 3 hours south and then unloading everything into our new place. We had NO problems in any way and I would highly recommend the crew that we had as they were very cool and did a great job. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! DON'T USE THESE GUYS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FURNITURE! We hired these guys at 5pm this evening to move our things out of a 26' trailer into our new home. They stated that they would show up with all the promised esstentials to help move your furniture. 3 men show up in a black Camero and NOTHING ELSE. No equipment. They muscled every piece of furniture and rushed everything off the truck without care. Dragging and shimmied our couches across the floor of the trailer tearing the corners open! Instead of being careful of our doors and walls they left knicks and scratches. They ended up leaving after the trailer was emptied in only an hour. We contacted the owner and sent pictures and his response was that in defense of his workers saying they took pictures of our stuff and claimed our stuff was old! Absolutely childish! The owner had texted us wanting the second half of their payment and I hesitated to even pay them because of the damage and not even 15 minutes later they drive back to our house and wouldnt leave until I paid them which made me so uncomfortable! We had an urgent need for movers after arriving to Florida to get athings setup in our storage units at Your Storage Unit in Zellwood Florida. Recieved this company's business card from stoage representative wich thwy had left for potenial customers. We called on a Friday and was scheduled for the next Tuesday ( 4 days) later with a $200 deposit. In the meantime, members of a church organization offered to help us. We called to cancel We like to Move It Movers on Monday, but was told we had to give them 7 day notice to cancel. The appointment was only made 4 days before and they would have to keep our deposit. After that we went ahead with this company, but the service we received was less than expected. All we needed was for room to be made in the existing unit to put in our next delivery. The movers actually created more work for us b ecause of their lack of expertise in moving and storage. Manager and owner refused to accommodate us and kept $100 dollars of our deposit. The movers took 6 hours to move what was done in 3 a year ago. They milked it. I gave them water because they came with none. I had to leave for work and left my 19 year old daughter to stay with them. They stole boxes and left stuff in storage. and when they delivered my stuff they put it anywhere. I had a very poor experience with We Like To Move It Movers and do not recommend that you use them for moving services. I hired them for an in-town move (Orlando) in March 2021 and was initially quite pleased at making a decision to hire "professional" movers as opposed to recruiting family and friends for help and renting a Uhaul truck. Little did I know then that hiring them would prove to be a very bad decision. Here are all the issues I experienced: 1) Cost estimate off by more than 100%: after providing my list of furniture items to be moved, Brandon (the owner) quoted me $282-$325 (can prove). In the end, he ended up charging $664. This is more than 100% of what I was expecting to pay and what I had budgeted for. In addition, due to running so over on time, I stopped the movers from reassembling 2 beds and an entertainment center because I did not have more money to spend, so it would likely have cost even more. I was shocked by the final total, and it looks like another customer experienced this gross underestimate as well (check the company's Google reviews). Btw, he has his movers stop all work and hold your items hostage until you pay. I was clearly dissatisfied with my experience, but since the clock was running, felt pressure to pay quickly, get the rest of my furniture, and end this nightmare of a day (moving is already stressful as is, then add in all these issues which we'll get to...). 2) Bad expectation setting: besides the issue about cost mentioned in #1, there is also the issue of time. I was expecting a 3 hour move. His movers were expecting a 3 hour move and said that this was the last job of their day, so we were ALL expecting to be done by 5pm. Little did we know that I would not be saying goodbye to the movers until 9:02pm, more than 4 hours after we expected. 3) Cheating on time tracking (remember, you pay by the hour): Brandon kept saying my start time was 1:30pm, but in fact his movers did not even arrive at my community gate until 1:32pm (can prove), and I have video evidence showing them still backing into my driveway at 1:35pm (can prove). Sure, the difference is only 5+ minutes, but over the course of multiple roundtrips (multiple trips were required due to Brandon only providing a 16 feet truck, which was not nearly large enough for all the items on my provided list), these rounding errors (only in his favor, of course) add up to $. In addition, the movers told us they were taking a 12-minute break early on in the day, and Brandon said he took off 5 minutes for a break. Then, on the first leg of the second roundtrip, Brandon only took off 20 minutes for travel back to location 1, when in fact the actual travel time was over 40 minutes (can prove). 4) Does not follow the fine-print on his own contract, which says "Customer is responsible to pay for We like to move it movers drive time back to our office in Ocoee FL, 34761. (estimated drive time will be added at completion of job [Under 15 miles is free]." According to both Google and Apple Maps, and the distance from the drop-off location back to the address listed on the contract is between 14.7 miles - 14.9 miles (can prove) regardless which route options are selected (tolls vs no tolls, highways vs no highways). Unless he is intentionally making his drivers take a longer, more roundabout route (he verbally told me that my location back to his shop was 18 miles), I should not have to pay for this drive time as the distance is under 15 miles. 5) Movers: They seemed to work hard when they were working, I will give them that. However, the level of experience between the 2 movers (A and B) was night and day. It was obvious that Mover A knew what he was doing. Mover B, not so much. I'm not going to be super picky about this as we all have to start somewhere, but it was clear that Mover B was quite new to this job and had a very limited vocabulary for communication. Mover A was teaching Mover B on the job and had to repeat things and offer reminders several times. This lack of experience was most evident when Mover B did not understand Mover A's instructions for moving a dresser, and ended up causing damage to the wall in my new house, with paint chipping off on both sides of the wall (can prove). 6) Safety concerns: Both movers wore masks for the maybe the first 15-30 minutes, and then mask usage became almost non-existent. I was not comfortable with this because we are still in a worldwide pandemic and they are literally going into your homes and touching all your furniture, but did not want to confront / anger them and potentially cause any "accidents" with my furniture. 7) Threat of a lawsuit for my factually accurate review: upon adding my review onto Google, Brandon told me over text that he would be filing charges for harassment and defamation and their attorneys would be in touch. Well, it seems like Brandon's approach for silencing his unhappy customers is to threaten a lawsuit, so you have that to look forward to read more

do not use this company. they milk your hours, break your furniture, and then try to charge you double . a move that should have taken 6 hours took 13. movers went missing for 6 hours of unaccounted drive time. when tried to pay agreed price owner proceeded to call law enforcement. when asking for help on finding a solution to ruined for furniture the owner cussed us out. absolutely terrible. read more
