My HVAC system is only 3.5 years old... in June, I had the bi-yearly service by the company who installed it.... In August (the horrible heat wave struck) ... I turned on the AC... it did not work. Called the original company... they came out and said the coil broke and the cost to repair would be $4,700... I am naturally a trusting person... but something seemed entirely wrong! I was told... only call Brad's company... which I promptly did. First off, Home Furnace Company gives you an appointment time... 10am is 10am... not a window of 5 hours! Brad came out, assessed the issue, fixed it on the spot (needed coolant) the total cost was $435!!! The other company was greater than 10X!!! Responded promptly to my initial contact, through multiple visits and calls (I am an engineer) worked with me (lots of knowledgeable suggestions and recommendations but never pushing anything on me) to come up with the system best for my needs. Ended up at the low end of four bids from HVAC contractors. Complete replacement of old HVAC system with state of the art heat pump system, removed all of the old duct work and installed the new system with meticulous attention to detail, making sure everything was just right. At the end of the week, a bit sad to see him go. That's when you know you have the right person looking out for you. I would use SB Heating and Air 100 times before even thinking about looking elsewhere. You can't go wrong here.

He was brought in to install a new AC system for the commercial building where my office is located. He made repeated promises that everything would work perfectly. That did not happen. After he "fixed" things, I now have little to no air coming out of my vent--while every other office in the building has functioning AC. I run a business that requires windows to stay closed for client privacy, and a comfortable, quiet environment is non-negotiable. Bill was fully aware of this. Because of the broken promises, I've been forced to buy several devices just to keep the room tolerable. They're loud, disruptive to my clients, and eating into my business. I've sent him multiple messages trying to get this resolved. He told me he'd replace the thermostat, told me he'd fix the vent, told me the new system would take care of everything.
