My wife and I moved from a Sacramento suburb to a quiet little place up on a hill in Weaverville, and I do mean on a hill! I'm a woodworker and my wife has a thing for oak furniture and precious stones; needless to say, our four U-Pack containers had a few heavy pieces in them, including a 500 lb. slab saw meant for cutting rocks, and given the steep angle of our street and driveway, there was no way that the containers could be parked on-site. I contacted Jacob, coordinated a terminal pick-up in Duncan, SC. Jacob and his crew met me there with two 16' trucks and loaded up our considerable possessions with Swiss timepiece precision and considerable care in much less time than I was expecting. With the two trucks loaded, the real challenge began: backing those trucks up to my garage. They managed it twice with only minimal scraping of the driveway (not their fault, it was unavoidable) and unloaded both trucks with the same alacrity. Ours was an in-state move from Boone to Asheville. They were excellent from start to finish. They gave us the best bid for the job. They arrived on time. They wrapped the furniture that needed it. They were pro-active concerning things they would do for us if we wanted them to--asking us "Would you like us to do (such and such we didn't think of)." Moving is stressful and it's easy to forget things your mover might do for you during the move. Having these folks asking us about such things was just excellent customer service. They unloaded all of our stuff into the rooms where we wanted them (not all movers will do this). They finished the whole job in less time than originally estimated by them and the final bill was a bit less than they originally estimated. I first hired them in November 2024. I was extremely satisfied with their service, so I hired them again this past weekend. The team works quickly, but with great care -- nothing was damaged, and they were clearly mindful throughout the process. They're excellent at packing the truck efficiently -- I call it 'Tetris-level' organization haha. Every bit of space was used wisely. The movers were also very communicative, which I really appreciated. They noticed I was still packing and immediately offered to help with that and a few other last-minute tasks, which helped eliminate a tremendous amount of stress. We used Jacob Hall and his crew at We Haul Moving Services on June 7 of this year. Having moved 20 times in my life so far, I know good movers, bad movers and then the very best. They are the best I have seen since the early 1980's, and even then they are likely the best moving experience we have ever had. We had 4 guys total and they moved us so fast from both storage units and a basement. In November of 2017 we had local movers move us from our house to the storage units, and they sat around smoking and taking constant breaks, and were very slow. What a difference in experiences. If you are lucky enough to book them, you cannot go wrong. You would be making a mistake if you hired anyone else! We moved from a third floor apartment into a 3 bedroom mountain home up a slick and twisty driveway. Jacob was quick to communicate as we worked out details for what truck to bring and how we could get moved before the giant snow storm came in. Jacob's team was prompt, professional, extremely efficient, and friendly. They got the 16ft truck up our steep mountain road and everything was still in tact! These guys are TRUE professionals and stacked our items like real life Tetris! Moving is SO stressful, but the confidence and knowledge these guys had made the experience that much easier. We just moved to Hendersonville and had no connections with any movers and we found WeHallServices online . We spoke with Jacob and sent him an e mail for a quote he responded quickly with all the details. We had two containers to unload and was told he could send two men tomorrow morning which ended up being Bobby and Jason the most professional and courteous men you could ask for and on time . They handled all our furniture and things with care(which were quite heavy).we are just renting until we can find a permanent home and when we do this is the only crew I will use. I contacted Jacob based on the reviews they had here at Yelp. I was looking for some help unloading 3 pods of household stuff. Jacob was prompt in responding to my voicemail and prompt in sending me a very informative email on how they work. I happily hired him to help move my stuff. In the end my pods showed up a week earlier than planned and Jacob tried to accommodate the change in schedule as best he could. In the end I ended up moving the items myself from the pods to the house and did not end up needing Jason's help. I was impressed with their professionalism and helpful attitude. Jacob and his team were beyond just good. They were excellent! The pricing was fair and the entire team was very professional. The scheduling process was easy. I reserved my spot and when moving day came they arrived on time. They worked hard to load all of my stuff and really had to manage some heavy items and steep stairs. They packed and padded everything very well and moved me across town. At the end of the day, we tried to dodge a rainstorm but the team ended up having to slog through rain and mud to unload my basement items. Jacob and his crew were top notch. My wife and I are veterans of 13 military moves around the globe. Normally using national carriers. This is the first time we went with a smaller company. We have some large antique furniture with lots of glass and important history to us. Also many fragile pieces accumulated on our assignments. We contacted these guys with pretty short notice-they immediately got back to us and stayed in contact. Originally, they could only do Sunday, and we really wanted to move Saturday so they worked really hard and still showed up later Saturday after another move and moved all our stuff in one trip. They move really fast, were really friendly and professional, and all our stuff was taken care of well and the rates were reasonable. If we move again, we would definitely use them again. Excellent local movers! Jacob, Jason and Bobby did a fantastic job moving us from Biltmore Lake to Black Mountain this week. If you are looking for high quality local movers, you've found them. We had a number of bulky, expensive pieces which they expertly handled. Everything was wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap and everything was carefully moved. These guys rock! Our first "mini move" we called with short notice and they worked us in to move some things across town! In our next phase, moving out of state-they were awesome with expertly loading and packing the truck! I'm not really sure how we would have done it without them but I'm glad we discovered them!
