While he was here he dropped several racial slurs stating that "blacks and spics don't pay". That was our very first red flag. He had promised my boyfriend that he would give us a proposal by two days time, it took a week and reminder phone calls from us to get the proposal. When finally Mike sent the proposal, he sent us a higher amount than discussed and different colored decking with no guarantee or warranty for the work. When questioned about this he told my boyfriend he was "too busy" and to "find another contractor". Be warned that this guy does not care about you and is proudly spewing racial slurs on your property. Horrible business, will never recommend. I feel terrible for anyone who works for this guy. We already had a basement system from another company, but it was often unable to keep up. Mike was always open and communicative about his thoughts and he came up with a solution that I believe will keep our basement dry. This consisted of some re-grading work outside, as well as an outdoor drainage system. He was able to get everything done quickly once we came to an agreement, and it was clearly done by someone with a ton of experience.
