It took a while for me, as a first-time homeowner, to understand that this meant I had a leak in the roof, because I thought it might somehow be a plumbing issue (it was a leak down the bathroom's exhaust vent pipe). The plumber said roofer. I found Manny because I was looking for someone to repair my front porch steps, and given that he was also a roofer, I asked him to give his opinion on what I hoped was a minor issue that could just be repaired, but it turns out that it needed a whole new roof, because the flashing around the pipe was bad, and with further inspection, turned out to be missing shingles, on top of THREE layers of roofing that they'd just kept putting more on. Manny made it easy to coordinate with the insurance company, and what a relief that they agreed to pay for the majority of the roof (but not the tower, which was actually the portion that was in the worst condition, but it wasn't storm damaged, just old). But his help in coordinating made it possible to get it all done, including repairing my front steps, because the cost would have been overwhelming without the insurance part of the equation. The workers were all so kind and helpful, particularly in maneuvering in the tight spaces that is my yard/driveway to get the trash to the curb on trash day around the dumpster in the driveway. Thankfully this work was completed in the winter so no worries about crushing blooms in my front garden, but I also appreciated how they put down tarps over all the plants to protect them, used nets to slide debris into the dumpster, and came back around to clean up after--including using a magnet to catch stray nails. I did unfortunately lose a blueberry bush and I'm a little worried about my blackberry canes, but overall they did their best and while I'd have preferred leaving my leaf mulch down, there's no way to distinguish between the leaf mulch and trash, so you shrug and deal with it. I'm sure the perennials will be fine come spring. As you can see from the pictures, my 1886 Victorian has quite a complicated roofline, and they were able to preserve the profile of the roof, put everything back where it ought to go, and then they'll be coming back in a couple of weeks to patch up the interior places where I originally realized there was damage.

My parents didn't use it much - we noticed that the awning was pulling away from the house and called Jeff to look at - he gave me an estimate and I shared out concerns about not hitting the studs when it was installed but he insisted that we did something wrong. The price was over $700 to take down put up a header and put it back up. Well my husband ended up doing the work and when he took it down he did notice that the original installers only hit one stud which was in no way good enough to carry the load and finally started to let go. I called Jeff to tell him what we found and he just went off on my swearing at me using the F word and calling me a liar and telling me to shut the F up I was shocked how he was talking to me. I also told him I called the manufacturer of the awning and that they didn't have any good to say about his company and again he went off yelling at me and swear at me. I was telling the truth, all I wanted Jeff to do was the right thing and give my parents a reimbursement seeing that my husband had to take down the awning but a header board (cost $70) and then put it back up even if he would've just cover the board at least that was something but his reaction to swear and talk to me the way he did was not acceptable. I did not yell or swear at him the entire call. Jeff did call me back after he called the manufacturer and realized what I said to him was the truth so I will give him a little credit for that but the damage had already been done. If you choice to use this company just beware of their workmanship. The way it is installed now that thing is not going anywhere which it should've been this way to begin with. BEWARE of this company.

Our experience with We Got A Guy Remodeling LLC was unfortunately very disappointing. Work that was represented as completed prior to our home purchase resulted in significant issues within the first hour of moving in, leading to open insurance claims, unexpected repairs, additional expenses, and a great deal of stress for our family. As buyers coming from another state, we relied on the understanding that the work had been properly addressed. Instead, we found ourselves managing damage, insurance claims, and repairs immediately after taking possession of the home. This review reflects our personal experience as homeowners. The house was left in truly appalling condition. The cleaning crew worked and worked and worked so hard and so long I was telling them to stop. They made a filthy house fresh and pleasant again. I would not have thought it could be restored to such a fresh condition. The next job was replacing the old casement windows which were rotted wood frames in crumbly 1950s cement. They not only repaired the window foundation area but other foundation ugly spots as well and put in beautiful new sturdy basement sliding windows. They also re-dug and replaced the adjoining window wells which were undoubtedly the original wells and were falling apart. Regraded the foundation area around the wells and reseeded without being asked. While they were in the basement doing the windows they cleaned a bunch of that up too so it's no longer a horror movie waiting to be filmed down there. Everything they did was simply above and beyond. Wesley Vercosa has returned my many questions and concerns with lots of information and smiles, bless him. My retired husband worked in construction for many years and he is happy and impressed with the work. We are planning more work with them already. We have multiple properties and I think we have found our new property manager.
