Nursing: they are spread thin. The Nursing Assistant changed almost daily. They wanted to spend time with the patients, but they didn't have time. No one updated the board in the patient's room even as status changed. OT/PT: This was the best part of the rehabilitation. The therapists gave concise assessments to us to support healing. They worked to create a relationship with patients where a connection was evident by the final day. Food: Baptist completed a swallow test and approved meals. We forgot to leave debtures so eating was a challenge. The dietician called insisting on a pureed diet. We requested no dairy to avoid constipation. We arrived at lunch to find cream of broccoli soup, pudding, milk. The Speech therapist finally changed the order when she learned that swallow test was done at Baptist. Discharge: Communicative not perfect Front Desk: they were efficient and knowledgeable. They knew the assigned visitors. They were aware that we received approval from the CEO to switch during treatment.
